    Man I just wanted to say that you got me addicted to rc cars, I mean If been addicted to rc car for a long time but you got me realy addicted to them, in particular vintage tamiya's and I always wanted an sandscorcher, but its way to expensive for me, so Im going to build my own (with metal suspension), this post is probably a big dumpsterfire and I apologise for that but I wanted to say thank you for all the great vids and many years of fun greetings and love from ze Gärmani , have a great day/nigth/whatever time of day it is !!!

    I definitely didn't expect this to be a $12.95 China Special...
    But you get a lot of USEABLE function, and that's important!!

    video @ 2:06 - manual clearly states WIG WAG in mode 12. My Trick is an American company based in Los Angeles, with excellent products (not cheap). Thanks for the video!

    Hello my friend, love your videos, can you suggest me a good lighting system to light my Tamiya Ford-350 with front lights, signals, reverse ans brake lights? TLU-02 is an option but too expensive!. Thanks in advance

    • @AMPROEngineering
      @AMPROEngineering  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This one here is awesome. You can get many lights and expansion kits for it but it too is costly. Check out episode 187. that one may do the trick

    In my humble opinion, it would be far easier to follow you if you printed up a simple graphical top view of a car/truck (ect), tapped all the lights to their respective positions, then proceeded to do the lighting test. That way we could all see what that lights are actually doing for the different modes.

    It's pronounced wig wag,it's a strobe that emergency vehicles use, and some city and county workers vehicles have that also

    • @AMPROEngineering
      @AMPROEngineering  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      LOL yes I figured that out later on in the video. Never heard of it in my life.

    Besides ebay, where would be a good place to look for a replacement rear drive axle for my vintage Kyosho 4Runner? The pressed-on bevel gear for the differential stripped from the shaft. I tried to make a shim to go in between the gear and the shaft, but it was too thick, and I bent the shaft, trying to pound the gear back on. I can try to bend the shaft strait, but I don't think anything's gonna hold that gear on there now. I would appreciate any advise.

    • @AMPROEngineering
      @AMPROEngineering  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Look for a facebook group for the car (if there is one), for vintage Kyoshos or vintage RC's.

    • @ToyotaGuy1971
      @ToyotaGuy1971 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AMPROEngineering Well, i appreciate the advise. Fortunately I was looking at it again this morning, and it didn't look as bad as I'd originally thought, and after I looked it's twin, I realized I did get the gear pressed on far enough, so I put it in the vice, and with a hammer and small block of wood, I got it bent almost perfectly straight, so I think it'll work now, but even with 109 locktite on there and that sleeve, I'm afraid it'll slip again, since I have it geared for crawling with the 8-tooth pinion I put in.
      Those bevel-gears on the drive shafts, are the only thing keeping that drive shaft from sliding right out. It's kind of a poor design. I guess I'll just have to try it and see if it holds.
      Thanks again for the advise though, maybe if it doesn't hold, I'll have to try that.Cheers!

      @ToyotaGuy1971 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AMPROEngineering Sorry, it was 290 locktite that I used, and I drove the truck outside today, and it's holding, so I'm a happy man, again. I used to have a real 1991 4runner, and that's why even though it seemed for a while there, that every-time I fixed something on it, and something else would break, I'd be depressed until I got it road-worthy again.

    What type of connectors do the lights have?

      It is a small JST style connector. I do not know the model type though
