Goff been to a Super Bowl and a NFC championship game, secondly Goff didn't take less. Thats what the team offered him because he is still under contract. You can wait two more years or you can get money now. Dak was on a team with 7 Pro Bowls and lost to a rookie that never played in the playoff on his first NFL season. How are you comparing those two things?
How did they over pay for the guy with the best numbers in the nfl won 12 games while bein 2nd in mvp votes 🤔🤔 only 1 team wo. The superbowl nfl is all about consistency and getting into the playoffs period
@@marseancaldwell What about what you do in the playoffs? The Cowboys could have gotten Dak for 25-28mil a year. They waited, the could have gotten Dak resigned for 50-53mil a year they waited. The second time makes sense but they chose to drag things out.
Tua has not shown he can beat above .500 teams, let alone a playoff game. He can't win in cold weather or stay consistently healthy, and you want to pay him 55 million?
You have to use context. The team fell apart due to injury. The losses at the end of the year can definitely be attributed to the loss of multiple offinsive lineman, our our 2 starting pass rushers, and other key contributers in the secondary not to mention tyreek hill playing hurt the last 3 or so games as well. Who is going to win with that amount of injurys. Just a bad shake last year is all.
Don't forget Mostert+Waddle both missing weeks 17/18. Everyone keeps talking about how Tua has all the talent around him when it's 2 WRs plus 2 RBs who are even above average around him. His other receivers and tight ends have not been close to elite. His O-Line is particular has been a weakness every single season (first 2 due to talent, past 2 due to injury to best blockers). Since McDaniel arrived, Tua's had 4+ healthy O-Line starters in just 4 of 13 games against playoff competition. In those healthy games, he won 2, played well enough in Buffalo to win that one if the defense held up (6 scoring drives, 29 points), and was concussed before halftime vs the Bengals. When missing 2+ starters and dealing with league worst protection, he's 1-8
@@smudgeous4068 they don't talk about the 0-line we are consistently ranked bottom 10-5 in the league with an all-pro tackle that constently misses games. Thats an area we need to focus on espcially at guard center guard
@@supercrash804 I don't think there's as big of an issue at center as most people do. Brewer is super mobile and potentially a better run blocker in McDaniel's scheme than even Williams was, and he's less likely to have those occasional bad snaps that bit Miami in 2022/2023. His pass blocking is definitely inferior to Williams but he is going from blocking for 2 QBs in Tennessee who held the ball far longer to the guy with the quickest release in the league. His durability should be much better, too. Even if overall Brewer proves to be a lesser talent than Williams, if he's playing instead of a backup for 9 1/2 games that should be a big improvement.
