    I get that Alisha has come out of her shell the past year and is way more comfortable on the podcast. But a lot of the time I feel like she overshadows Remi, not only the interruption, but the fact that she tend to be the “main” character in the topics. Like it’s Alisha’s dating, Alisha’s mental health, Alisha’s motivation, Alisha’s views as the single bestfriend.
    I wanna hear about Remi as well!!!! How was it for her branding herself, how is her mental health? She has shared how differently society view you when your “thinner” vs. “bigger” I would LOVEEE to hear more about that. How was it for her growing up as an Asian and Christian? How was it for her feeling “left out” of the lifestyle girlies. Her views as a girlfriend, does she feel pressure to get married or have a child. Her insecurities and things she love about herself? How does it feel to be labeled as the “nice friend” and the friend that’s lovesss to plan. Does it ever get annoying? How is it being compared to Alisha or even the others in Asian girl squad?
    Love you both! And I want both you to shine in the podcast!!! It’s giving Alisha and her bestfriend right now. I want Remi and Alisha, Alisha and Remi!

    I know Alisha interrupting is not from a malicious place, but it’s frustrating because there seems to be no progress with the issue. I have ADHD and i get how challenging it can be, but it’s something you have to consciously in the moment work on and restrain from talking over people. I feel like i could feel Remis energy In this video, a bit frustrated. I wish we could hear and learn more things about Remi, she speaks so elegantly and always does such a good job at listening, which is why i so badly want the same for her in return.

    Niki- I truly believe you are exactly where you need to be right now. Case in point, you mentioned your current music is reflecting the happiness you’re feeling. There is a newfound freedom and a carefree nature to you, that seems to be coming alive during this time. After seeing you struggle for so long with your identity, it’s truly rewarding to witness your growth. I know behind the scenes it’s been rough, and bittersweet to say goodbye to versions of the future that you may have thought at one time were exactly what you wanted. But this is just the beginning of a beautiful chapter for you.

I feel like Niki was able to express so much of what I’ve been feeling but not really understanding how to deal with it or what exactly is even going on with myself. This makes me feel a little more normal and makes it a little less scary. Niki I hope you come back on the podcast again I love the dynamic of you three, I could’ve listened to this for hours!!❤️

    i’ve been following niki and gabi (as well as all the other big youtubers of that group) for years now and i still feel interested in what they have to say. i 100% relate to niki’s music in fact i like her songs and EP better than most of the music today. i hope she gets even bigger in the music industry cuz everyone sees her as a “youtuber who makes music” and don’t take her seriously which sucks cuz if you know niki and gabi, you know they ALWAYS had a big passion for music

    the way niki feels emotions and honestly just the way she carries herself is so similar to me! i channel that into creativity as well with art and poems! definitely a blessing and a curse sometimes, but honestly it's a wonderful gift for the most part. being "in the know," as y'all said, is really helpful for managing heightened emotions as an empath and someone with anxiety/depression. i love hearing others' stories about things like this! being present while still thinking through everything meticulously is such and admirable ability as well and i love to see others that have it! I get a really comforting and validating vibe from seeing others with the same perspective! 🤍🙌🏻

I also really connect with what Niki says about how OCD affects your thinking. This is why I love Niki. She is just so real, genuine, and radiates self discovery. And when she talks or sings you just feel connected to her, understood, and validated. ❤

    Love this 💗 Self- care is absolutely anything that helps your mental health. It will be different things for everyone & will more then likely be modified time to time to fit your specific needs. It’s impossible to state how extremely important it is to not only set aside time for self-care when you are really struggling, but instead make this time you set aside for yourself to be part of your lifestyle.I know it seems like there isn’t enough hours in the day, but if you don’t set aside this necessary time for yourself, you will end up losing more time as a result from neglecting your well-being & overall health.

    I’ve literally thought for maybe a year that Alisha might have ADHD because I relate to her so much on things I struggle with bc of adhd plus I have other similar things she also has, but I don’t want to be diagnosing her off of snippets I see on the internet. But especially interrupting and finding links between what other people are going through to your own life, basically so you can understand it more. And just finding random links all around

    • @SD-uz1cc
      @SD-uz1cc 2 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      And then for everyone hating on her, a diagnosis is not an excuse no but when you find out something like that it can often lead to symptoms almost over-presenting for some time before you start to learn strategies to effectively deal with them, also as someone with adhd - not talking constantly and not interrupting people is HARD and all these gorgeous women are doing beautifully, adhd or not.

    I've gone through some extreme lows since the pandemic and experienced some heavy symptoms of depression that even now two years since the pandemic started haven't quite left me and it's gotten to the point where it's gotten hard to mask it in front of friends and family, and they think I'm just selfish and lazy and so watching this video meant so much and gave me so much validation and room to know I'm not selfish or lazy I'm just going through it, I feel like I need to go back through this video with a notebook and write all of Niki's mental health advice down because WOW.

    I put this on and just about fell asleep to it then I started hearing the depression part and it was such a eye opening talk from Niki I literally sat up and listened and rewound and saved it all. It’s like what I’ve needed to hear for so long..🫢🤔 like I just went to a therapist or something lol (I’ve never been to one but probably really needed to since I’ve had depression for years and have done nothing about it).
    I’m gonna come back and listen when I need to remind myself of what she said , so simple yet I needed to hear it from someone else . She made me feel like I will be okay and I won’t need anti depressants , as I’ve been there done that years ago in my early 20s and hated them .and being a depressed parent is hard but I didn’t want to get pills again and wasn’t going to probably so hopefully I’ll be alright if I remember this advice . 🙏🏻
    Awesome podcast and she’s so wise glad I didn’t fall asleep 😴,Thankyou🖤

    FYI anxiety and depression are symptoms to a problem that you've been avoiding in your life and the reaction to the environment you subject yourself too. When you are going through it it takes a certain amount of responsibility to get better and sort our life together to when you are in a better place to give that energy to others it is genuine good energy and with that you keep receiving good energy back. Also you have to filter your life and be mindful to always honor yourself and your feelings first and not let other peoples needs overpower yours. This is what I've learned and I hope this helps everyone.
