Alisha has talked a lot lately about her mental health as a public figure and I would LOVE to see her make her directorial debut producing a documentary about the psychology of internet fame and how being online since her teens now impacts her as a near 30 year old woman.
I feel like she and TK don’t give themselves enough credit as true directors/producers and they could do a serious deep dive on the impact of living as a public figure from such a young age, interviewing fellow creators about everything from PR and brand deals to parasocial relationships and dangers of vlogging, showing your homes and places you frequent, how this all really impacts creator’s family lives and overall sense of self. I wouldn’t want her to damage her brand relationships, but it would be so fascinating to hear about growing fame and income based on your personality, while having to remain perfectly neutral, like a human billboard for advertisers to use and abuse, all for a check. I want to hear about brand expectations and getting screwed by managers and content never being good enough and getting replaced by new “young hot influencers” stepping on the scene with their naivety and how it feels to be a REAL PERSON who people treat like a character. Call it “Generation Billboard” or something along those lines and show the actual reality of influencing and content creation.
I know she is grateful for the life she’s built and there are many upsides to social media fame, but OGs like Remi and Alisha seem to be the only ones willing to get real and warn the next generation of Tiktokers and online stars that it isn’t all free shit and brand deals.

Can we talk more about why we feel the need to have a presence on every platform because that's been the #1 struggle to keep up with! I've done it for the last few years and it's definitely been the #1 cause of burnout, and it's taken much longer to grow in certain areas because I've been trying to do it all.
I agree with this so much!!! It’s tough. I def prioritize my podcast, and now TH-cam but trying to do reels and tiktok and Pinterest too is tough. I also work full time so that makes it a little harder.
i think it’s 100% better to put your all into one platform only so that’s where people know you from. sometimes doing all them can be too much not only for urself but in other peoples eyes too.

coming from someone who is pretty private, even i get overwhelmed by the plethora of platforms everywhere, like no thanx insta is it for me (also i do not work in social media so that makes it so much better!)
TH-cam 100% needs to work on their algorithm and home page and stop worrying about keeping up with other platforms. My suggested page shouldnt be things ive already watched or videos that SHOULD BE in my subscriptions feed, but arent. My subscription page if congested with shorts and i dont even watch them. Its frustrating and makes me not want to watch anything on youtube.
I will say for the Shorts, I did get a notification like I get for actual TH-cam videos and it's kind of a bummer when it's a short and not an actual video

90% of podcasts guest, aren’t paid. for example Claudia is there friend and she also has a chance to promote her new film and socials into a new audience which is her ROI of doing this podcast.

they usually don’t get paid that’s why guests (especially for bigger pods like BFFs, full send, zane & heath unfiltered, etc) will usually wait to come on until their next project is out or about to come out. it’s usually bc it benefits both parties so they usually want to come on for the promotion of their name and stuff! :) however if it’s someone HUGE they usually have to pay them to come. it just depends :)

I found she was doing good at the start but once they talked about TH-cam she went on tangents like her cameras and her turning 30 series and was like your not the guest it’s not your time to share all that
Very frustrating to see Alisha constantly centering the convo around herself, it's like she doesn't give Remi or Claudia room to expand on any subject without bringing up how it relates to her.
I don’t think she’s doing it on purpose, that’s just how some people communicate - they relate their own experiences with that of the speaker’s, to feel connection & make sense of the info being given. Just my observation - hope that makes sense :) Love & Light all

I find myself doing the exact same thing sometimes and get so annoyed with myself! It’s def something she can work on BUT it does takes a crapload of mental effort if it’s what comes natural
@@Palb77448 I totally understand that social anxiety has a role, I bring it up because at the end of the day the podcast is for the viewers and it doesn't make sense to bring on guests viewers are excited to hear from and the convo keeps being diverted. It's a job not just them having a casual non-recorded conversation. Podcasts are literally centered around people having really strong communication skills
