- I want to talk to you about all the features of our vented clean out leaf filter and I want to explain why we made it the way we did. It's a leaf filter, a cleanout and a gutter adapter - all in one. I'll explain the pitfalls of the other gutter adapters and leaf filters on the market which prompted us to create our own.

Thank you for this design. I couldn't believe my eyes when I noticed my existing connectors splashing out in a heavy rain. I don't want to add tape or caulk to the seam. So I have been looking for something better. My only trouble is deciding which color to buy!

These clean outs are amazing keep making great products I was skeptical about the filter at first but it helps out a lot our clients and never have to worry about calling anybody to clean out the systems and they're always easy access to check any of these systems with your materials keep up the great work awesome video💪

Currently installing an underground downspout system. Love the design of the vented downspout connectors. As I was watching this video I am curious if you all considered an option for a clear door or some sort of visual indicator to identify if the grate is clogged.

We successfully built this with no gaskets that crack and dry out. It's watertight and holds up to the elements very well. What you're suggesting could possibly lead us down the road to a liability where the clear material over time does not stay clear. As in most cases, the sun usually ends up spoiling such a material. Having said that, I think we met the price point that the market was looking for, as well as the quality and beauty.

If there are no drainage contractors listed in your area, check with your local irrigation companies and landscape companies.
I have been looking everywhere for a video to show me how to set the french drain into a soak away pit. Some say directly on top, some say to set it in the middle. Do you have a video for this? I am currently digging 4 french drains to soakaway pits and I need to get this right.

What’s the optimum height above grade to end the downspout? Getting new gutters put on a house and will be going with your product to move the water away from the house. Downspouts will be 3x4.
Approximately 14" above grade works well.

My downspout is coming out of my PVC 3" x 4" x 4" SDR35 Downspout Adapter. Does one of these products work without taking that adapter off?
This product replaces the adapter and corrects your problem.
Why is your corrugated underground pipe better than solid PVC? (other than having direct sunlight as you mentioned). Once underground, I'd expect solid to be best. Otherwise, shingle gravel can get caught and stay in the perpendicular lines. Thoughts?

@FRENCHDRAINMAN yes sir, just had some gutters that needed replaced and this guy was awesome he added a new gutter and cut the downspout into another downspout to form 1 large downspout so it can continue to go into our drain. Only problem now, I can not find a connection 🤕
If leaves are coming down your downspout, then leaves are in your gutter. Better to trap the leaves at the source at the top of the downspout with a screen for less than $5.
That plugs FASTER.

I'm a homeowner and currently tearing out and redoing what a contractor did using the big box cheap stuff only a coulle years ago. These components install easy and function as described. I stood out in flash flooding on friday in my Minneapolis yard watching 3.2 inches disperse as expected. Worth every penny!
That was my first reaction. But after watching the videos and reading the comments I decided to pull the trigger on my downspouts. I am installing 4" corrugated dual wall underground to the FDM pop up emitter. The quality of all the products is worth every penny. No regrets here. Buy once and forget about it
