Can we just comment on how well the four blended together -effortlessly? Doing Johnny's songs uniquely their own way but in unison; a beautiful bow to the Man in Black. This was awesome

We have nothing like this in the UK and even in America you really have to come from the Southern States to have that marvellous twang to your voice, a beautiful accent I could listen to it all day. Wonderful music made by four wonderful men, love all four of you, I don’t think I can choose who I prefer, whose voice I prefer, I think it’s a toss up between Johnny and Waylon or maybe Kris or Larry, see I can’t make up my mind. 🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧🏴

I don't know when this took place and was surprised to see Larry Gatlin singing with the other three.......I never knew he did....... but he did an excellent job, his voice blended beautifully. They all are so talented and loved by so many.

What great legends! The way they were before they were The Highwaymen, minus Willie Nelson and the addition of Larry Gatlin! They sounded so awesome together but they were also awesome individually! They mostly came from rural backgrounds, spent their childhoods in The Depression and wartime and so were witness to those who had lived hard lives both in their respective families and the people they knew! Then there were the struggles that they faced in their own lives! It was so well reflected in their music! They were singing about their real lives and that was what made their music so intriguing to me! Country music 🎶 has been a big part of my life ever since I first heard it when I was a baby laying in my crib at night and hearing artists like Tom T Hall, Hank Williams and Charley Pride on the stereo in the living room! Thanks to my Dad for being a country music fan! These artists are either in their twilight years or have passed away now, they were very unique and special people! We shall never see their like again! Many thanks to all the people who have uploaded these videos on TH-cam! We are eternally grateful to you!👍
Ticket was probably about 8 dollars….the memory was worth a million.

Jessie Colter's book is one of the finest autobiographies I have ever read. Thankfully, Waylon, after a genuine party life, came to peace with God in Jesus Christ. Johnny, of course, is enjoying his retirement thoroughly.
All four of these men are in Christ - either with Him in Heaven (Johnny and Waylon) or walking with Him here on earth (Kris and Larry). Their lives teach us we do not need to be perfect to be in Christ, we just repent and choose every day to follow Him afterward.

I loved all four of these singer and many other country and western singers not featured here, those still with us and those who have left us, God rest their souls. 😮My favourites are Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson and Willy Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Larry Gatlin, all of them I think dead and gone now, God rest their souls.

Larry Gatlin and his brothers,are so underrated. Listen to the Gatlin Brothers music. There is good stuff there.
These two songs were Johnny's "rock n roll" hits from the 50s. I walk the line was from Sun Records days. I remember it from when I was a kid. Ring of Fire came along in the 60s when I was a teen.
