    Lots of great detail going on here man. I learned a couple of useful little bits way beyond the actual caustics so cheers.

    Probably you already know this but you can subdivide the object when you click the right mouse button :)

    This isn't "Real Caustics" its just a cheaty normal hack, but it works :)

    What if you put a camera into the ocean and make it look out through the water? Will the refraction and rays still be seen?
