I was all in when I saw the 760. Mine is .300 sav. 40 years still hunting. Been passed down from my great grandpa. Keep it up brother. Real hunting. Real fishing. Real groceries.
For all the internet police commenting about hunting from a motorized boat, it’s perfectly legal in Michigan as long as the gun is not loaded while the motor is under power or boat is still moving from the motor’s momentum. He was ROWING (motor was off) when he was actively hunting. Good grief.
Can’t even hunt deer with the motor running in these remote areas really. They’d have taken off long before he would have seen them if the motor was on
I respect the commitment to the film aspect. Driving away from your camera, knowing you’ve gotta drive back to it. The B-roll stuff is what really separates the men from the boys so to speak. Nice work as usual!
This is the best hunting video ever. My family and I constantly watch hunters take home big bucks but none of their videos come close to this one. This video represents what hunting is all about. LOVE
I can not get enough of your float hunting videos. They are so cool. Of course, all of your videos are pretty amazing. You just have that excitement in you that makes us want to watch.
Adding a boat in the mix on ANY hunting adventure is scientifically proven to increase the fun by a factor of 10. It also increases the chances of "Oh crap" moments but I choose to overlook all that.
Awesome video! Several years ago, I watched a video of Tiffany Lakosky letting a very wounded, limping 140+ buck walk past her at 30 yards. It was late in the evening and I knew I was watching a suffering deer walk to its impending doom. She has a trophy room full of great deer, but she still wanted more. I vowed then I’d never watch another one of their videos and I haven’t. Thanks for sharing this.
Been doing that, right there for 40 years! You didn’t mention the winter Steelhead that you were driving over.. We always do a cast and blast! Great video, way to represent West MI.
Awesome hunt, beautiful day on the river! Love the backstrap breakfast! Thanks for being a great example if a conservationist, you rock!! My season for me and my clients has been the best!!
Incredible video. This was so much more enjoyable to watch than just another “big buck video” like everyone else does. I’d personally rather watch something like this any day where the experience and appreciation for a simple, humble success sets the tone of the video rather than watching some dude thumping his chest about a stupid antler inches score that no one cares about. You’ve set the tone for a style of hunting video that is going to be tough for anyone to match.
Absolutely love the boat the way it is rigged. As you were drifting I wanted to have my flyrod casting on that river. I've drift hunted a few times over the years and it surely is peaceful.
Great job, Buddy! I really enjoyed your passion, filming, conservation, and your knowledge to be able to butcher yourself. I will be watching more in the future.
A great day afield man! God is good to us in and through His creation for sure. I too enjoy skinning, and boning my deer, and also have canned venison as well. Short happy blood trails friend 👊🏻
I saw your canoe video and subscribed and then saw this one. Those stealthcraft boats are really something. Your style of adventure is similar to what I enjoy. Great videos!
Great job on the hunt and video. I too enjoy butchering my own deer and built my own walk-in cooler about 5 years ago using the Coolbot Pro controller and it works great. Very handy to have on those warmer days to come home with a deer and hang it it there and turn it on and head right back out later for another hunt. It’s nice to be able to help out friends that need a clean cold place to store their deer until they can bring to their butcher. I also hang them hide on 1-2 weeks to age the meat. I hope you just forgot to mention the tenderloins and took those out also. You will want to take those out right away if not butchering the same day or they will dry out….Alan
I love to float hunt have been doing it since i was in high school and iam 63 years old through out the year's i have tought my boys and nephews to float hunt it is beautiful no other way you can go through 10 miles of woods and not make no noises animals of all kinds nothing like it i suggest you find a river or large creek with state land on at least one side and enjoy the beauty of nature nothing like a float hunt
Great video dude! I love the Remington pumps. But I pull towards the 7600’s model myself! Hopefully the deer has not had infection set in, tanting the whole deer. Very glad to see you so thankful, nice
Love the videos, Do you have a video on what type of camera equipment you are using? I film with go pros and looking to upgrade to a more professional camera. Do you mind sharing what camera and lens you are using?
At first when you said "it looks like a good day to kill something" - I was signing off (because it reminded me of a guy i know who said similar words & wounded a small herd of deer with no remorse - he was in a frenzy & never even looked for the wounded deer !!!).... But, I'm glad I watched the entire vid - You not hesitating to take the wounded deer was a class act & what hunting is about....... Earned a subscriber.
I would love to float the swamps like the ole timers did I've always Heard stories about and upload the same swamps fishing in the spring and they are loaded with dear I have seen some giant bucks and there's no lack of bottoms or Creeks to float in the low country of South Carolina where I I am from they have outlaw deer hunting from boat we can no longer do it
Great hunt. I enjoyed the video. My only question is how much meat on the deer was wasted due to it being injured? I would've loved to have seen the damage not your bullet made, but what you found wrong inside the deer once you skinned the deer. I assume one of the back legs wasn't any good, or was it injured more in the rib section?
Where in michigan are you from i live in the very western part of Genesee county. We have lots of deer here! Now that would have been a blast doin that way of hunting! Enjoy your videos thanks for sharing!!!
Hey man great video but I had a question regarding fishing. I wanted to know what blank you would prefer for a center pin build? Any help would be appreciated thanks!

ive been looking into trying somthing like this. Is an electric trolling motor considered the same as the outboard?
@@ronparker8391 are you handicap? if then yes you will be able to shoot from the vehicle while running even

From Minnesota, respect to the filming and capturing what our beautiful Midwest states have to offer!
This is the best hunting video ever. My family and I constantly watch hunters take home big bucks but none of their videos come close to this one. This video represents what hunting is all about. LOVE
Absolutly love them 760s i have 3 of them. 30-06 carbine 30-06 with a 22 inch barrell and last but probably my favorite is my 760 chambered in 35 rem.
Pretty awesome glad timing was right to take her out of her pain !! Awesome video

I can honestly say this is the first time i have seen a whitetail float hunt and even heard of one.
This video is even better than your float hunt last year. Awesome.
Great video. I just had dinner but my mouth started watering anyway!
Awesome scenery with a rewarding meal at the end there! Nothing like fresh backstrap!
Wow love the boat camo and the old 760...a classic
I absolutely love your channel! Thanks for taking us along!
Been doing that, right there for 40 years! You didn’t mention the winter Steelhead that you were driving over.. We always do a cast and blast! Great video, way to represent West MI.
Always impressed with your videos. Your a true sportsman. Saving that Doe from a cruel death in the winter by coyotes. Another great video as always!

Makes me think I've got to float hunt more often. Used to annually, and it was fun and effective.

I should have showed more of that. Pretty much the entire hind quarter was shot but everything else on the deer was fine. Thanks for watching!
Nice hunt
Hunting on a boat. Impressive
Awesome bro wish I was there. 18:24
Who makes the anchor winch you run on your boat? I need something like that! Great video as usual!
