I'm sitting way over in Africa and my heart was thumping. Right now on the eve of my 60th year I am hunting with a slingshot , cast my own lead ammo and I am having fun. Can't wait for my son to return from Wisconsin with an old Bear Super Grizzly I was gifted by an old hunting client from Texas. After many years of guiding I need to put in time hunting for my own pleasure. If I can master the bow skills , I aim to treat myself to some fun. Thanks Clay. Awesome video.

Ive been following you for about 7 or 8 years now and you have taught so many so much. Thank You for what all you've done for archery. I think its about time you do a show with Uncle Ted

Jealousy always brings out the toxic miserable humans. They have to project their own self hatred onto others instead of owning their issues and working on them. Be honest with yourself people cus most of the time, you’re the problem in your own life. Taking accountability is what cool people do.

Thanks for sharing this, had me on the edge of my seat. Bow hunting is so fun, I got my first archery animal this year in north west Alberta , nice mature bull elk.

Awesome video Clay. And Chevie enjoined it a lot. That river crossing with no boots or pants man that is something else. 38F is about 3C. Water that cold and you did it twice. Couple of time in the army when I had to bathe with cold water you feel like your testicles get into your stomach. Kudos to you really.

Got a question: Noticed Chevy getting brush twixt the string and limbs on his bow - back in the 60's (?), we used "brush buttons" to solve that problem - have you tried them? If so, opinion? Again, excellent hunt - thankee for sharing...

Clay, huge respect for this video! Clay, could you tell about your plan if that moose is looking for revenge? Because I heard a lot of stories how people and dogs were seriously damaged or even got killed by an injured moose, and I don’t know what’s the best way to survive the situation when a moose goes really angry about your arrows 😮

Subject: Concern for Wildlife and Ethical Choices
    Hi ,
I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to reach out and share my concerns regarding the treatment of wild animals. I’ve noticed that many animals have been harmed and even killed, which is deeply troubling, especially when it comes to preserving our natural wildlife. These creatures play a vital role in our ecosystem, and I believe it's important to protect them.
I hope you can consider more ethical choices that align with preserving wildlife and respecting nature. Every action counts when it comes to protecting the world we all share.

@@clayhayeshunter I was shooting my Satori up until a couple of months ago, got a brand spanking new left shoulder two Mondays ago. Probably won’t be able to fling pointy sticks until after the first of the year. Got all four corners done now, two new knees, two new shoulders, hell, I’m off to the races. Might have to go chase some elk down here in AZ. Getting the new knees was the best thing I ever did. After 20 years I can actually go up, go down, and squat and not a pain to be had. Hope my left shoulder turns out as well as my right shoulder did, I’m excited about getting back out there again, I saw this elk once…
