I'm sitting way over in Africa and my heart was thumping. Right now on the eve of my 60th year I am hunting with a slingshot , cast my own lead ammo and I am having fun. Can't wait for my son to return from Wisconsin with an old Bear Super Grizzly I was gifted by an old hunting client from Texas. After many years of guiding I need to put in time hunting for my own pleasure. If I can master the bow skills , I aim to treat myself to some fun. Thanks Clay. Awesome video.
Clay, I love all your videos. But this Alaska series is by far my favorite. I hope there’s more, and I hope you and Chevie can hunt again next year. Thanks for sharing this, had me on the edge of my seat. Bow hunting is so fun, I got my first archery animal this year in north west Alberta , nice mature bull elk. Cheers man
I would be in absolute heaven fellas!!! I envy the both of you for being able to have those experiences!! I'm sure none of it came easy. Those were some great hunts.
Awesome video Clay. And Chevie enjoined it a lot. That river crossing with no boots or pants man that is something else. 38F is about 3C. Water that cold and you did it twice. Couple of time in the army when I had to bathe with cold water you feel like your testicles get into your stomach. Kudos to you really.
My heart was in my mouth. Most people would have made a bad shot on both those bulls. Chevie’s restraint is commendable - he may be new to long bows but he is a hell of a hunter. I’m glad bow hunting reminded him of the joy of pursuit. I loved every minute of this!
Clay, I don't know you. You don't know me, but I can't tell you how much these videos have gotten me fired up again for hunting. I grew up on a farm in the woods. What the hell happened to me??? I can tell you: military and a career in law enforcement. I can feel that peace, fresh air, excitement. Dang! I miss that.
