My personal interpretation of this level is the loss of a loved one. It seems that with the duels in the beginning, it can be like two people, possibly lovers, and maybe one of them dies at some point, and when the player tries to go back to the dual game mode, they can’t because the other person is dead. Eventually they fade to memories, and then finally ending with the passing of the other person? Really unique level concept and beautiful gameplay.

i really like how after the dual section ends, the level is briefly structured and built like can't let go, maybe symbolizing denial of loss (if this was intentional then hell yeah)
