It jus depends on the college too bc ik for a fact at the barber school where I live the teacher only really teaches how to do Justin bieber cuts they don’t really teach how to cut black ppl hair. And they aren’t aloud to cut outside the school.

So when you go to school you can still cut even if you haven't had your license yet
Tahoe # well you can at your house or if you find a cool barbershop that’ll let you on the low . When I was in barber college I was cutting at the house after school making money time for by faster
I never went to school and I’m one of the best barbers in NYC……and I don’t have a license!!!!!

My school gives tuition if I earn it, so I would be able to go to a barber school without worrying about debt. So since I don't have to worry about the tuition should I go to a barber school?

From what I hear you don’t learn to much with the school. A lot of videos people were saying it was a waste..? As far as what you learning you do not learn how to cut can you help me out bro?
They dont teach you much you just have to put in the work and try out methods you find on youtube
Barber school is a waist!! I’ve been cutting for 25 yrs. No school!! No license and I’m paid very well….

You don’t need barber school….all you need is Instagram…..
Barber school would be the best to go to learn. Apprenticeship, it's what the barber has time to teach you. Also, you have to have a lot of people you know, because you won't be cutting, just watching and sweeping floors for free. If a barbershop isn't doing that well, the owner can also drop your Apprenticeship at any time.
Barber school teaches you how to comb hair it’s a waist !!!
@@tonybernardi775 Tony, at the end of the day apprenticeship is a waist. Mainly a barber doesn't have to teach you anything. They also can give up, and tell you you they don't want to apprentice you. The risk is too great. Barbers are very self centered and plain selfish
