@@bortiz5260 Owning your own barbershop/salon is risky unless you've been in the industry for decades and your shop has a lot of clients.
My 13-year-old son just told me he wanted to become a barber, I am here to learn everything about my babies future passion. I told him that instead of A down payment for a house for his 18th birthday, I would instead sign a lease for him to open his business after he’s out of high school. Now I get to have an extra couple years with him before he flies out on his own.

Everything you said applies to all business’s. That’s crazy just rewatched this video for the first time again after being almost 1.5 years(watched it before jumping into barbering) into my apprenticeship and I’ll be honest still one of my favorite videos I’ve seen to this day. Amazing video!! I’ve been thinking about becoming a barber which I’ve had no experience whatsoever but, I’ve had many haircuts from below average, average to best quality fades now and always payed attention to how they work, talk about how long they’ve been doing it etc all of that small talk stuff, I’m only now watching videos on barbering cause got to a point in life where I want to do something new and exciting.
