    Thanks so much for bringing this score here ! But Why does Schumann put the solo horns below violins on top of celli and bassi . It's so odd looking for a solo instrument there . I suppose the standardization we know now was not standard then . I'm still amazed reading Chopin's letters he had different financial deals with publishers in England , France , Germany and Italy . Each having a monopoly in their country I imagine which is now why we have differing versions for the same music - and why indeed must an Urtext always be the same . Music can be fee as is imagination . So glad I finally heard this Schumann 4horn music !

    very nice. It was a great move of him to do just one breathtaking movement. What could one compose for 4 horns and 3 movements without being annoying or too hard?

    Ugh the first horn part is pretty high😵 and as horn player I know how hard it is to play so high that fast
