I think the reason the vision reacted to us is because we have the same ambition: defeat raiden. Kazuha friend's vision only reacted when kazuha was trying to block the musou no hitotachi, and kazuha friend final ambition is to block the attack.
damn.. Now I feel bad for kazuha's friend more. He must have tried to block it but cant either coz exhausted or he felt that he cant move his arm coz the amount of musou no hitotachi's power by the way his arm position in the cutscene. Still,what a brave soul
Does everyone have different ambition, like kazuha wills of travel, those NPC we help in the first chapter ( I can’t remember their name, sr) have different one too, so their ambition just suddenly changed when their visions being taken away?
Although Ei's will is not shaken at first, she does seem unsettled since the beginning of her legendary quest and at the end of it she seems mildly convinced that her ideals should be revised. Her banner is even called "Reign of Serenity" not "Reign of eternity" and her Ultimate skill description says that Inazuma is entering a new period, a period where people's dreams matter.
Also her story tab in profile. She had a dream before meeting us about looking at Shogun in the mirror. Looking at the puppet Shogun and it speaks and asked her from the mirror. I dont remember the exact question, but Ei had doubts about her form of eternity, she realized it long ago.
I think she needs other option, even in the cutscenes she already doubting her eternity concept, but for now it is still the best thing for her and the country, maybe after talking with Yae, she will have much option
When paimon was trying to wake the traveller up after being knocked out i noticed the raiden’s expression change a little bit and thought that she felt sympathy but after completing the quest it doesnt look like i was right.
3:26 Zhongli didn’t speak specifically about Baal passing away, but said that he and Venti were the only two of the seven original archons who were still alive after the archon war. Not a contradiction.

yep.. that's what i get from the conversation too.. since we've never wage war against Raiden Shogun because she stopped granting visions to peoples, but because she confiscated others vision..
I also believe it is because Visions are what allow people to feel as though the gods are looking upon them. When the Raiden Shogun took away everyone's vision, they felt as if the gods were no longer looking upon them in favor, and in turn, that the Shogun had cast them where she no longer cares to look. When Miko tells her to give back the visions, she also means that she wants Ei to look once again at her people.
It's odd because Teppei himself said he has no Vision. None of the 99 other Visions are Teppei's but Traveler "symbolizes" his ambition as Teppei so Traveler can resonate with the other 99 ambitions.

0:48 this voiceline… after understanding Ei, this voiceline makes me sad because she lost every one closest to her in the cataclysm. Her friends and even her twin sister. If the traveler was in the same time during the destruction of Khaenriah, there’s a chance that all of Ei’s loved ones would still be alive. But, in the positive side, I feel like Ei sees the Traveler as the saviour that will save Teyvat from future destruction.
For 6:29, with Raiden suddenly attacking the traveller, I looked back towards the first chapter of the archon quest where she said "Next time, I will strike twice." She did, one was for Signora and another was on traveller, which is still kinda in-line with that notion that the deal expires when they leave. (Or maybe it's just me connecting it haha)
And it's exactly as how Ei puts it during her story quest. "The Raiden Shogun is incapable of making mistakes." When it comes to finding a solution for her problem, that being "Get rid of the exception to eternity", the Raiden Shogun will do anything within her mechanisms and power to get to that goal as fast as possible and as efficiently as she can but while following whatever rules are set for her made by Ei.
In her voicelines at friendship 4 she said she didn't know that for almost a year noone got electro vision and she can't change it cause she's not the one who decides about giving vision but Celestia.
Not sure if she specifically states that it's Celestia who decides on who gets a vision, but if I remeber correctly she simply states that it's npt by her will that no noew electro visions were given out for a whole year. I think that you are correct though on the fact that it's Celestia who decides on who gets a vision but there's also a criteria set by the archons like anemo vision wielders usually have something to do with freedom, or free spirit, etc.
Also i learned that, i think when Dainslief said "the god descended upon and destroy the khaenriah." It is not stating that the archons who did the destruction. Makoto died during it and so is the original dendro archon, which stating all the archons should be there too. But what did they do? Why did they die? Do the catalysm damage them or was it khaenriah people try to defend themselves but they failed, resulting not only humanity in lost but also archons. On genshin's video we could also hear that dainslief said, "the god goad us 7 treasure, the rewards for the worthy, the doorway through divinity." - 7 treasure are the archon, and the god stating celestia (after all, celestia was the one who gave gnosis to archons and made them the strongest in Teyvat). In zhongli second story quest he said that he can't say what happend during khaenriah. He clearly was present but what did he do, who ordered him to go there. It's celestia tricks to make gaps between humanity and archon

I watched a theory video somewhere saying that the former god of Monstadt, Decarabian like Ei closed their nation to protect their peoples against something. That "something" is probably Celestia. So Celestia probably was the one who decided to task the Archons to destroy Khaenr'iah and Baal (Makoto) was against it. Resulting in Baal's death for fighting against Celestia.

Scaromouche may have hid the fact that he received the gnosis from yae, I bet members like him are only loyal to the tsaritsa, and not with each other. Signora may have been trying to look for an opening at some point to aquire a gnosis that the shogun didn't even have
That's what I thought too, since the tsaritsa picks out harbingers from the local fatui, it would make sense how the harbingers would fight for her favor to obtain even better rewards and titles from her
same thoughts. the harbingers look like they all work separately and only answers to the tsaritsa’s orders/answer to orders that come from the tsaritsa. they look like they don’t interact that much unless they’re summoned to a meeting. in that sense they remind me of the hashira in demon slayer, or the S class heroes in OPM.
5:00 let me correct this, signora goes to tenshukaku for stealing raiden shogun gnosis, while in the other side, scramouche, he (maybe) in his way to go back to tsaritsa to give her the gnosis of raiden shogun, but, he didn't say to signora if he's already have the gnosis from yae miko because harbingers never work together in order to get tsaritsa attention (can be called if harbingers is simp to tsaritsa). For example, childe is used by signora to grab liyue people's attention and qixing, so signora can do an offer with zhongli in north bank without being interrupted by anyone and childe also not knowing it.

Zhongli did technically tell us that Makoto died but not directly. He said that Barbatos is the only remaining of the original 7 so thats not a plothole.
But the thing is both ei and makoto are original archons since they’re twins Unless were reading into it as since makoto was the recognized archon her death caused a new archon to take her place (in this case ei) even though ei was part of the original she would still be considered the NEW archon
I just realised something. While the Vision Hunt decree was abolished, we never heard the Sankoku decree being officially abolished as well. Poor Xavier. They are still trapped in Inazuma.

as someone who pays attention to the archon quests a lot more then usual world quests (which are also important in their own right) I see most of these as not that hidden and can be easily understood and notice too As of right now, voice lines and the areas in the statue with visions were all taken out and given back, you can also get the rewards from talking to those who their visions was taken. inazuma is back to normal but not fully, we might get another act II for Ei and we'll ask her about the archon war in Khaenri'ah. we also might get another quest for the abyss since there wasn't much talk about the abyss and where they are in inazuma, they are very much silent thus far..
It was definitely Ei in the voice lines talking about how she can't grant visions. She spoke that line with emotion, which is something the puppet can't do. As for how much Ei knows about the Fatui, she knows that the Fatui influenced the Vision Hunt Decree, but not necessarily about how the Fatui played both sides in the war or their distribution of delusions. She might not even know that there was a war. In the story quest, Ei warns the Takatsukasa clan to not cover up information like the Fatui did. Also Ei, responds to the Traveler's question on if she knows about everything outside, to which she says no, she only knows about things regarding to eternity.
So that means, when Yae talked to her about granting her divine gaze again, she didn’t answer directly because she didn’t know that electro visions stopped appearing at the same time she started the vision hunt decree, which is a year ago, which is also the same time when the sakoku decree was in motion.
Oh when Yae said "divine gaze" i honestly thought she was talking about how Ei must put attention to her people again and return the Visions took from the decree. Maybe i didnt pay enought attention or something was different in my language idk x,D.
The 'divine gaze' is more like focusing on the people's hardship and improving their lives rather than complete focus on her pursue of eternity When she decree the vision hunt and the sakoku, she's hurting the people's daily lives and alot of people were out of jobs and the warriors became ronins as a form of banditry for their survival. It also hurt the foreigners that was in Inazuma and was unable to find place to live or leave the place.
About Signora being on Tenshukaku, she does NOT know that Scaramouche got the gnosis, she even attempts to do the "gnosis grab" attack on the Shogun right before being slashed, she was left in the dark to amend the Kujou clan leakage and mitigate the damage to the fatui plan, literally left for death

Harbingers don't work with eachother. In simple words they consider eachother as enemies and not rivals. Rivals can be friends have mutual respect for eachother and try to surpass eachother in friendly ways. Enemies will simply wipe out their competition. Although the Harbingers haven't tried themselves wiping out their competition otherwise they'll have to face the wraith of Tsaritsa but I'm sure they try to create circumstances where their competitors would be whacked. Look at what Scaramouch did by not informing Signora about the Gnosis.

Childe's whole division, such as the R&D that manufactured the sigil of permission and the army that attacked Jade Chamber, were all left in the dark by Signora. Childe didn't attack Liyue for instability but to bring out Morax for gnosis.
That moment where those visions reacted to the traveller is actually weird because its established that we cannot gain a vision as we are not of Teyvat. And yet the visions respond to us. Its rather odd. Maybe we have more connection to Teyvat than we thought.
And after that Yae says that perhaps the reason we don't have a vision is because we don't have an ambition pf a lifetime, just a goal. So, I wonder what will happen at the end

Huh I wasn't expecting that, Paimon mentioned about Baal's death but Zhongli doesn't, even though Zhongli as Morax/Rex Lapis is the oldest archon among The Seven so he should've known about Baal's death 500 years ago and that she was replaced by her sister (maybe because both Ei and Makoto looked exactly the same, and that both of them assumed the position as the Electro Archon -> he thinks the two as one person, kinda like the ppl in Inazuma)
Zhongli actually DOES state this. The video creator merely references the wrong conversation. In an earlier conversation in Chapter 1, Zhongli notes that he and Venti are the only two remaining "original" archons, thus confirming that the first Shogun passed away... he just doesn't say WHEN or WHERE.

I don’t think Yae meant visions when she referred to divine gaze. I think she literally meant she needs to pay attention and interact with her subjects, instead of being on autopilot all the time.
Hey maybe at 1:11 she meant giving the people the right to hold/use visions. Since at that time the Vision Hunt Decree stripped that right away from the people. If this was the case then there would be no contradiction. It would just be that Archons can't control how visions are given out.
Just something you have missed maybe: The fatui harbingers do not work together, they look more Like friends on opportunity and also they may hate each other as seen with Childe and Signora in Liyue and when Childe says if needed to fight the other harbingers he is willing to help the traveller. Maybe scaramouche hidden the fact of being in the poossession of the gnosis from Signora and she were there to retrieve Ei's gnosis, this seems more right when the last move of Signora was a clear attempt to steal Baals gnosis like she did to venti
There's a missuderstand on the video, Signora was the Harbinger with the mission to collect the Gnosis and she didn't know that Scaramouch had the Gnosis already, so she went Tenshukako to probably negociate the Gnosis with Raiden, she even tried to pick her Gnosis by engaging with her hand before Raiden attacked her.
I KNEW Zhongli never said anything about Baal's death. It made me go "what are they even talking about, he never said that at all" and left a sour taste in my mouth tbh
Technically, it was Ganyu who told us that the original electro archon had died. When we go to Dihua marsh to pick glaze lilies with Zhongli, there’s a conversation about the original Seven, and only Rex Lapis and Barbatos remain.

@@natsudragneel25 but then the convo after that at the end of the quest it refers to "baal" as the archon currently ruling over inazuma. honestly i think their development plans for raiden's story changed sometime between the end of chapter 1 and the start of chapter 2. that's the easiest explanation, no need to make things more complicated.

Actually, if I'm not wrong, Zhongli did mention that there was a change of guards of sorts in Inazuma and that the Raiden Shogun was the youngest of all the archons. I believe that is what Persimon was referring to
1:31 In the voiceline regarding visions for Ei, in the Japanese voice I'm pretty sure that Ei is the one explaining she cannot grant or deny visions. To know this difference is the tone of voice from Shogun and Ei. Ei has softer and more gentle tone when talking to us, thus indicating it's Ei's talking not the Shogun.
4:35 my bet is that one day, with a future update, the storm around Inazuma will actually be removed, it's just that times aren't mature enought yet. My hypothesys is that we're gonna see some minor adjustments to the existing coastline of Mondstadt and Liyue to accomodate for the Waverider. I doubt that Sumeru, or even Fontaine, aren't going to have the Waverider taken into account.
4:40 to this you have to acknowledge that Inazuma is in the very beginning of its changing phase. Only after we take Ei out during her story quest, her idea of "preventing change to maintain eternity" starts to change. She realizes that how change is good and need to keep the Inazumans "eternally happy". So the real political and economical changes will happen AFTER we leave Inazuma. Pretty sure they keep the thunders just for gameplay sake. So that the region feels different enough from Mondstadt and Liyue
The game does do a “poor” job explaining why Signora was in Tenshukaku because we only see everything that the Traveler sees and experiences. For now, all we know is Signora was there as a diplomat with the Shogun but I think it will be expanded later down the line like how we now know the Abyss Order had a part in Osial’s resurrection or at least planned to capitalize on his resurrection. So maybe Signora being there has something to do with the Abyss Order since they also have their tendrils in everything the Traveler (we) have experienced so far? Also yeah, the Fatui are always fighting for more diplomatic power in every nation. They sacrificed it in Liyue though for Morax’s gnosis and we should see how it plays out against the Nation of Eternity since a harbinger died on their soils.
it is true that Ei did not change her will after her defeat from battling Aether, but remember the last quest we have with her. The two went to wander around Inazuma city for a while and took a picture of Ei standing still and gentle and firm, I think her will was slightly affected by her date with Aether.
I believe this should explain the vision contradiction part. First off, the voice and intonation indicate it is Ei, not the puppet. And the puppet would not have those kind of knowledge anyway. She said she wanted to guide them to the correct path to eternity, which explains the vision hunt decree and confiscation of vision. If she were able to just simply not grant them, she would have just not do that. Why bother with giving out vision and taking them back? It is obvious here that she cannot grant vision, but she did not want people to own vision and hurt themselves in the process, hence taking on the burden of guiding them as she would guide the blind. TLDR: in term of giving vision, archon has no say. Yae talking about people wanting vision is more about the vision hunt decree and having their right to dream being stripped from them, and that Ei shouldnt do that.
@CatWithBlueHat about the vision be granted, the voice line in japanece have a diferent tone between the voice line, one tone es the one raiden has while the other is ei so part of the voice lines are from raiden and others to ei, if you take the voice lime about the kamisatous you will see that one is talked by raiden and the other by Ei since she is surprise about raiden said something similar to the other kamisato member. I dont know if in the english they have diferent tones when they talk

When it comes to visions and the i formation that we truly have about them I believe and for obvious good faith that Sumeru will give us a clearer answer as to Ei's voiceline about visions as she says its about desire and something else perhaps sumeru's god kusanali (or whoevwr might actually be the god that entire plot is hinting that its not the lesser lord kusanali) will give us the most information about visions being the god of knowledge. And about the its just the puppet saying she cant grant them remember that ei can remotely control the puppet to a degree (atleast thats how I interpreted her hang out since so far shes the only real human archon weve met as the others was a dragon and elemental spirit so sealing herself away so her body would not decompose) I think its actually that she cant control who gets them but rather she does influence the requirements which just might be the other thing perhaps a god's desire and an individual's desire have to coincide within a certain degree such as eternity in this case meaning forever in some way whether that be protecting something, or dedicating yourself to something forever, or refusing to move forward (like fischl and being her childhood story hero refusing to grow past that). perhaps the idea of what eternity means was changed when Ei changed her perspective and thus nobody was able to meet that new perspective in a similar way
One thing this video does'nt mention is that after Thoma rescued the Traveler the Puppet said that next time it would strike twice. She spared the Traveler in the palace and i think that count as the first strike and after we left that was her second strike. Hope this theory explainsthe motive of that sudden attack of the Puppet
4:45 About why Signora went to the Tenshukaku, there are some theories that it could be because that Scaramouche didn't inform Signora or the others about obtaining Ei's gnosis and plans to use and keep it for his own will. Before Signora got eliminated by Raiden Shogun, you can clearly see Signora was reaching for Raiden's chest or rather where the gnosis should be too. It could also be that she's trying to fight against Raiden too.
About Signora in Tenshukaku, I heard a theory about Scaramouche betraying her and not telling her that he got the gnosis. Before Raiden killed her she tried to, well, do the "steal gnosis move", which might explain why she was there.
For the first thing in the video, Miko says they passed their ambitions to the Traveler, which connects back to that very first Inazuma archon quest when we went to help people for Ayaka. For the granting visions part, what if miko doesn’t know that Ei can’t grant Visions? Or perhaps Miko believes Ei’s ideals are what makes visions granted. Perhaps not being able to grant visions is another one of those ideas that not many people at all know of. Also I find it interesting that if Miko is around 500 years old, we are older than her, yet she calls us child lol.
Well, people don't want us to drink alcohol despite the fact that we are basically Elder Gods from another world... Being immortal with the body of a teenager brings some difficulties.
The problem with the "she cannot grant or deny visions is said because the one saying it is the puppet instead of Ei herself" argument is that it is kinda lost if you at least listen to the JP version of the line, where the tone of voice indicates Ei is speaking. From the English line itself it implies Ei is speaking because she mentions "outside world" which is improbable considering the Raiden Shogun *is* Ei's 'outdoors' persona, and we know Ei has been shutting herself out from the outside world since the conception of the Shogun puppet. Though it might be fair to say that she (the puppet) probably didn't care and deem it is important enough information to convey to Ei herself.
At the end of the story I want a feature for traveler, a secondary ability that you can use IN COMBAT to switch elements. Imagine that a one man team, geo is shields hydro (I assume) would be a healer. Just imagine being able to make an elemental reaction on the spot

Maybe she's not allowed to challenge people to a duel before the throne. There is the fact that Kazuha's friend apparently challenged Kujou Sara to a duel, not Raiden Shogun, so maybe she can't participate in these duels.
@@hugopereira4212 she can respect their victory without letting them go. The fight is over. Traveler came out of the battle alive and there is no stipulation that they can leave the whole area - at most, the building. Raiden can easily start a new duel.

I don't think archons grant visions, because in the case of venti he return to mondstadt only a few months before we start the game, so unless all the visions of mondstadt were given during that time they cannot came from the archon Also just before meeting yoimiya a npc stat that he just receive his vision. It would be weird to give one just to take it back
I agree with you on the archons not granting visions, but to debunk the last bit- His vision was pyro i believe, or possibly just either of the others that so happened to not be Electro. So it wouldn't have been by the will of the Shogun to randomly give visions just to confiscate them.
My theory is that there are 3 factors that all contribute to one having a vision. First is that their ambision should be strong enough to warrant one. 2. Is that it has to correnspond to either one of the 7 archon's ideals (which is why I think there were no electro visions granted since the Sakoku Decree was implemented, because it cemented Ei's shifting principles. Hence even if a person's ambission is strong enough, if it didn't align to any of thr archon's ideas, it wont manifest. And third, it has to have Celestia's approval. I think, Celestia is more complex than the classic higher power villain trope that many are painting them to be. I think, they weigh a person's personal ambissions on whether they will be allowed a vision or not. Many vision holders understand that the vision they hold is irrelevant to their worth, some even going as far as saying that they have no particular care towards their visions like Albedo, Ningguang etc. While those who had a strong ambission and seems to think like it warrants them a vision doesn't.
This also opens up the idea that the puppet, scaramouche, and Albedo are made of the same kind meaning that if ei knows how to perform kianrian spells this mean that the nation was in peace after it got ef by celestia
Mine is a spoiler In the new quest we understood how we were able to talk with ei out of the plansof euthomia cause she and the puppet became one thing she can control the puppet like her own body(in the walk after the archon quest) and that the puppet was rennegating eis control so she rewrote the rules by fighting etc.. so the fact that she doesnt grant visions could actually be the pppet they are the same and we got that cinfirmation only now so the puppet didnt lie that she doesn't give visions but ei didnt answer so we could still hsve the doubt

I’ll just this: The Traveler has now turned gold at the end of all three Archon quests so far. If the Traveler isn’t the god weapon from Honkai I will be shocked
If its true that Archon (Ei) can grant vision and Shogun(puppet) doesnt know:- 1) we still dont know whether they able to grant ppl a vision of their element or not. 2) Since Ei's only been meditating inside her plane for centuries, and she even stated to refuse to give vision, then who the one who granted inazuma ppl the visions? there's even 99+ inazuma ppl has the visions in the current era right? 3) Is archon of the respective nation responsible for giving out their nation ppl a visions? This also related to first question. i guess we back to square one...
Overall, Inazuma's story was good, the hype was there but the thing that is a downer for me (IMO) is the story (especially the 3rd chapter) was really rushed and left behind a lot of plotholes in the game. Comparing it to Liyue chapter, the pacing there was good, there was good character development for the Liyue characters that took part in the story and it was concluded well. While playing inazuma chapter act 3 the part where you fight signora, I honestly thought that was still in the middle of the story, because the traveler just kind of left the resistance behind out of a fit of rage for seeing for what happened to teppei, and I was expecting Kokomi and the resistance to finally have a big showdown with the shogun, but to my surprise, the story just went ahead and placed kazuha and gorou and his army to storm tenshukaku (like wtf? are we just gonna be lead to assume that yae contacted them, and what about kokomi and beidou???). It really felt like the build up the 2nd act was for nothing. :/ Lastly, where the hell is Kujou Sara right after the ending? I am still hoping for mihoyo to give justice to how act 3 ended. Sorry if I sound like one of those crying babies on Reddit, but I'm sure some of you guys felt that there should have been more to the Inazuma story.
I have a really stupid thought. What if everything was rushed BECAUSW it's like lightning? Inaxuma is the electro archons land. IDK it sounds so stupid but yea. Everything that happens there goes by as quick as lighting? I hope they'll explain more about what happened in future quests tho

Ei and Makoto were twin gods who were seen by everyone else as one person. Makoto was seen as the archon and Ei was just a god, or the Kagemusha. Before Makoto died, Ei was never an archon

3:40 i got really confused at that part-- I mean while doing the quest I start recalling if zhongli ever did mention that makoto's passing but I don't recall any except ganyu who mention that 5 out of 7 give(?) Their position, as archon, on others and I assume that they (all) died during the war. Meaning that ganyu is aware that makoto's passing and ei took her place.
About Ei "contradiction", there's is none. Ei has been meditating for 500 years, and the visions were granted normally. She only knew that the visions weren't been granted only when we told her. So clearly she don't have any control over it. And that matches with her lines and Zhongli's, cuz he don't understand very well how the visions work until when explain to him.
i think there might be 2 possiblities : as we know aether/lumine might be a royalty from khainreah(sorry if wrong spell) and we also know that khainreah was a technologically advanced land and that was probably the reason why it was destroyed. so i think the suit the traveler wears is actually some kind of vision container, something that does not need an ambition and allows you to use elemental powers. 2nd might be that travelers ambition, that we know as of now as to be finding their sibling, might be something bigger than that. like the path he maybe walking rn may include something bigger than just finding the sibling or travelling tevyat
After seeing this video, I also had a theory of myself. I really don't think the archon can directly give Vision. If so, why didn't Tsaritsa bestow Signora with Cyro Vision? Instead, she was bestowed with Cyro delusion. You might say Vision only for mortals, but seeing Ganyu and Xiao (adepti) have a vision. I don't this is the case. I think it's like how their feeling or ambition are aligned with the archon they would bestow with the vision, but as Ei said, there is another method. So I'm guessing there is another method that bestowing power but I don't think it's archon responsibility.
There is one point of difference between kazuha's duel wielding of the vision and the traveller's, kazuha was using both of the vision's power to block the puppet's strike when the traveller was distracted by the events ( the whole scene where he was walking out of the tenshukaku was unnerving to us to show the mindset of the traveller after the duel) while when traveller resonated with the visions in the plane of euthymia they were fighting the electro archon.

Archons granting or not granting vision might be outside of the mechanism, the archons may choose for what circumstances or specific kinds of ambitions that their element resonates to, but as for granting vision, this is maybe one of the "laws" Of teyvat, and this ties up to the power of khemia bypassing the "rules" Of teyvat that caused the catastrophe happened 500 years ago.
About Raiden's surprise attack, it was the puppet who let them leave the place. But the one who attacked them was Ei. So it isn’t anything like expiring her permission after leaving Tenshukaku. We can see her coming out of the plane of Yuthumia.
I think signoras goal Was the puppet shogun itself : a lifelike and nearly unbeatable human copy basically a Homunculus with the ability to draw from an archons power Of course they have scaramouche but i guess one is not enough and he was also just a prototype with sealed powers . i would assume the Fatuis endgoal is to bring down celestia by uniting the World against it (via conquest) and the use of forbidden knowledge (which will most likely incite celestia to attack)
If I remember the start of the archon quest and Yae’s lines right, the traveller gained the power of the visions right at the start, as soon as he touched the statue of the omnipresent god. They got a headache and similar things to what we see when he uses the visions in the final fight flash up on screen. Yae also says that there were “ambitions long since entrusted to you,” suggesting something happened a while ago rather than just in the middle of the fight, but Yae helped him realise that he could use them (and she possibly knew as much from the moment she met us, which is why she knew we could beat Ei if we fought near the statue)

Traveler's ability to wield and resonate with so many visions can also be related to his/her ability to withstand multiple adeptal energy blessing. This is clearly a hint to his/her former strength and the large capacity it has for power. Additionally, I think the gnosis being in the hands of its respective archon play a significant role in the granting of visions to the people in Teyvat. It was mentioned that only Electro vision was not given out to the people since the start of Ei's seclusion, and that coincides with Ei removing the gnosis and handing it over to Yae Miko. Assuming that the gnosis hunt begun with Venti, since he is currently the weakest archon due to being inactive as a god, it is logical that the vision granting process for all the other elements were unimpeded before the start of the Traveler's journey with Paimon except the electro element as Ei was already separated with her gnosis. We can also extrapolate on this phenomenon that gnosis does not grant power to the archons, instead it is the other way around, with the archons being batteries for the gnosis. Gnosis comes from Celestia and its purposes can be to give archons authority to make a nation. We know Khaenri'ah and Celestia were enemies but the reason could be that they are a nation without an archon which also means they had no gnosis.
4:55 An important thing to note regarding that, is that right before Signora is executed, she tries to plunge her hand into Ei's chest, as if she's trying to steal Ei's Gnosis before she can execute her. My first impression is that Scaramouche simply did not tell Signora that he already got the Gnosis - a cruel irony after Signora kept Childe in the dark about Morax's Gnosis back in Liyue. As for why he would do that, either he wanted to make 100% sure that what Yae gave him was the real Gnosis before he told Signora (so she wouldn't laugh in his face if it was fake) or he simply didn't care about Signora. He shows no care for human lives, and the Surpassing Cup mentions that he's just in the Fatui for fun.
To further confirm that the Fatui have a bigger plan, is when you talk to the two fatui members by the teleport waypoint in Monstadt, they talk about the vision hunt decree, though only believing it was put in place by the archon, and not the Fatui's doing, which means, it must be a secret within the Fatui itself. Then also talks about Signora's death, believe it was some sort of ritual, then go on to say that rumour have be going around in Shenzch saying that Signora was barely powerful enough and that the Fatui will bring in someone stronger in order to make the Fatui even stronger

I'd like to think that Scaramouche sent Signora to collect the gnosis to Raiden Shogun even if he already had it. It just feels so in character for him to send one of his subordinates to death just because of his disregard for human life.
Signora is not his subordinate though all the harbingers are of equal standing Signora was probably already there already and so was scaramouche signora was probably trying to get the gnosis and scaramoiche was making delusion but the gnosis ended up with scaramouche
there is a voiceline that Ei barely found out that Electro visions have not been granted for a long time, so my theory is that when their ambitions or determinations somehow align (the archon of the specific element and the future vision holder) , their vision is granted by Celestia.

I think the reason the vision reacted to us is because we have the same ambition: defeat raiden. Kazuha friend's vision only reacted when kazuha was trying to block the musou no hitotachi, and kazuha friend final ambition is to block the attack.
Oh right, visons reacts to ambitions so if the people's ambitions are the same as the previous owner of the vision, it responds.

Does everyone have different ambition, like kazuha wills of travel, those NPC we help in the first chapter ( I can’t remember their name, sr) have different one too, so their ambition just suddenly changed when their visions being taken away?
Although Ei's will is not shaken at first, she does seem unsettled since the beginning of her legendary quest and at the end of it she seems mildly convinced that her ideals should be revised.
Her banner is even called "Reign of Serenity" not "Reign of eternity" and her Ultimate skill description says that Inazuma is entering a new period, a period where people's dreams matter.
Also her story tab in profile. She had a dream before meeting us about looking at Shogun in the mirror. Looking at the puppet Shogun and it speaks and asked her from the mirror. I dont remember the exact question, but Ei had doubts about her form of eternity, she realized it long ago.

I think she needs other option, even in the cutscenes she already doubting her eternity concept, but for now it is still the best thing for her and the country, maybe after talking with Yae, she will have much option
When paimon was trying to wake the traveller up after being knocked out i noticed the raiden’s expression change a little bit and thought that she felt sympathy but after completing the quest it doesnt look like i was right.

yep.. that's what i get from the conversation too.. since we've never wage war against Raiden Shogun because she stopped granting visions to peoples, but because she confiscated others vision..
That also makes sense because the people of that nation believe that their archon is the one to hand them all their visions.
I also believe it is because Visions are what allow people to feel as though the gods are looking upon them. When the Raiden Shogun took away everyone's vision, they felt as if the gods were no longer looking upon them in favor, and in turn, that the Shogun had cast them where she no longer cares to look. When Miko tells her to give back the visions, she also means that she wants Ei to look once again at her people.
Yea really is the star of this Archon quest... her sassiness, resourcefulness, and just overall confidence made the story 100 times better!

0:48 this voiceline… after understanding Ei, this voiceline makes me sad because she lost every one closest to her in the cataclysm. Her friends and even her twin sister. If the traveler was in the same time during the destruction of Khaenriah, there’s a chance that all of Ei’s loved ones would still be alive. But, in the positive side, I feel like Ei sees the Traveler as the saviour that will save Teyvat from future destruction.

For 6:29, with Raiden suddenly attacking the traveller, I looked back towards the first chapter of the archon quest where she said "Next time, I will strike twice." She did, one was for Signora and another was on traveller, which is still kinda in-line with that notion that the deal expires when they leave. (Or maybe it's just me connecting it haha)
And it's exactly as how Ei puts it during her story quest. "The Raiden Shogun is incapable of making mistakes." When it comes to finding a solution for her problem, that being "Get rid of the exception to eternity", the Raiden Shogun will do anything within her mechanisms and power to get to that goal as fast as possible and as efficiently as she can but while following whatever rules are set for her made by Ei.
In her voicelines at friendship 4 she said she didn't know that for almost a year noone got electro vision and she can't change it cause she's not the one who decides about giving vision but Celestia.
Not sure if she specifically states that it's Celestia who decides on who gets a vision, but if I remeber correctly she simply states that it's npt by her will that no noew electro visions were given out for a whole year. I think that you are correct though on the fact that it's Celestia who decides on who gets a vision but there's also a criteria set by the archons like anemo vision wielders usually have something to do with freedom, or free spirit, etc.
Also i learned that, i think when Dainslief said "the god descended upon and destroy the khaenriah." It is not stating that the archons who did the destruction.
Makoto died during it and so is the original dendro archon, which stating all the archons should be there too. But what did they do? Why did they die? Do the catalysm damage them or was it khaenriah people try to defend themselves but they failed, resulting not only humanity in lost but also archons.
On genshin's video we could also hear that dainslief said, "the god goad us 7 treasure, the rewards for the worthy, the doorway through divinity." - 7 treasure are the archon, and the god stating celestia (after all, celestia was the one who gave gnosis to archons and made them the strongest in Teyvat). In zhongli second story quest he said that he can't say what happend during khaenriah. He clearly was present but what did he do, who ordered him to go there. It's celestia tricks to make gaps between humanity and archon

I watched a theory video somewhere saying that the former god of Monstadt, Decarabian like Ei closed their nation to protect their peoples against something. That "something" is probably Celestia. So Celestia probably was the one who decided to task the Archons to destroy Khaenr'iah and Baal (Makoto) was against it. Resulting in Baal's death for fighting against Celestia.

Scaromouche may have hid the fact that he received the gnosis from yae, I bet members like him are only loyal to the tsaritsa, and not with each other. Signora may have been trying to look for an opening at some point to aquire a gnosis that the shogun didn't even have

same thoughts. the harbingers look like they all work separately and only answers to the tsaritsa’s orders/answer to orders that come from the tsaritsa. they look like they don’t interact that much unless they’re summoned to a meeting. in that sense they remind me of the hashira in demon slayer, or the S class heroes in OPM.

5:00 let me correct this, signora goes to tenshukaku for stealing raiden shogun gnosis, while in the other side, scramouche, he (maybe) in his way to go back to tsaritsa to give her the gnosis of raiden shogun, but, he didn't say to signora if he's already have the gnosis from yae miko because harbingers never work together in order to get tsaritsa attention (can be called if harbingers is simp to tsaritsa). For example, childe is used by signora to grab liyue people's attention and qixing, so signora can do an offer with zhongli in north bank without being interrupted by anyone and childe also not knowing it.

Zhongli did technically tell us that Makoto died but not directly. He said that Barbatos is the only remaining of the original 7 so thats not a plothole.
But the thing is both ei and makoto are original archons since they’re twins
Unless were reading into it as since makoto was the recognized archon her death caused a new archon to take her place (in this case ei) even though ei was part of the original she would still be considered the NEW archon

Also, you can tell if you're talking to Ei or the Shogun based on their tone. From the gentler and more emotive tone at 1:35, I'm definitely sure that's Ei talking.
as someone who pays attention to the archon quests a lot more then usual world quests (which are also important in their own right) I see most of these as not that hidden and can be easily understood and notice too
As of right now, voice lines and the areas in the statue with visions were all taken out and given back, you can also get the rewards from talking to those who their visions was taken. inazuma is back to normal but not fully, we might get another act II for Ei and we'll ask her about the archon war in Khaenri'ah. we also might get another quest for the abyss since there wasn't much talk about the abyss and where they are in inazuma, they are very much silent thus far..
It was definitely Ei in the voice lines talking about how she can't grant visions. She spoke that line with emotion, which is something the puppet can't do.
As for how much Ei knows about the Fatui, she knows that the Fatui influenced the Vision Hunt Decree, but not necessarily about how the Fatui played both sides in the war or their distribution of delusions. She might not even know that there was a war. In the story quest, Ei warns the Takatsukasa clan to not cover up information like the Fatui did. Also Ei, responds to the Traveler's question on if she knows about everything outside, to which she says no, she only knows about things regarding to eternity.

So that means, when Yae talked to her about granting her divine gaze again, she didn’t answer directly because she didn’t know that electro visions stopped appearing at the same time she started the vision hunt decree, which is a year ago, which is also the same time when the sakoku decree was in motion.

The 'divine gaze' is more like focusing on the people's hardship and improving their lives rather than complete focus on her pursue of eternity
When she decree the vision hunt and the sakoku, she's hurting the people's daily lives and alot of people were out of jobs and the warriors became ronins as a form of banditry for their survival. It also hurt the foreigners that was in Inazuma and was unable to find place to live or leave the place.
About Signora being on Tenshukaku, she does NOT know that Scaramouche got the gnosis, she even attempts to do the "gnosis grab" attack on the Shogun right before being slashed, she was left in the dark to amend the Kujou clan leakage and mitigate the damage to the fatui plan, literally left for death
also, seems like scaramouche doesnt like her (anyone likes her)

Harbingers don't work with eachother. In simple words they consider eachother as enemies and not rivals. Rivals can be friends have mutual respect for eachother and try to surpass eachother in friendly ways. Enemies will simply wipe out their competition. Although the Harbingers haven't tried themselves wiping out their competition otherwise they'll have to face the wraith of Tsaritsa but I'm sure they try to create circumstances where their competitors would be whacked. Look at what Scaramouch did by not informing Signora about the Gnosis.

Childe didn't attack Liyue for instability but to bring out Morax for gnosis.
That moment where those visions reacted to the traveller is actually weird because its established that we cannot gain a vision as we are not of Teyvat.
And yet the visions respond to us. Its rather odd.
Maybe we have more connection to Teyvat than we thought.
And after that Yae says that perhaps the reason we don't have a vision is because we don't have an ambition pf a lifetime, just a goal. So, I wonder what will happen at the end

Huh I wasn't expecting that, Paimon mentioned about Baal's death but Zhongli doesn't, even though Zhongli as Morax/Rex Lapis is the oldest archon among The Seven so he should've known about Baal's death 500 years ago and that she was replaced by her sister (maybe because both Ei and Makoto looked exactly the same, and that both of them assumed the position as the Electro Archon -> he thinks the two as one person, kinda like the ppl in Inazuma)

In an earlier conversation in Chapter 1, Zhongli notes that he and Venti are the only two remaining "original" archons, thus confirming that the first Shogun passed away... he just doesn't say WHEN or WHERE.

Hey maybe at 1:11 she meant giving the people the right to hold/use visions. Since at that time the Vision Hunt Decree stripped that right away from the people. If this was the case then there would be no contradiction. It would just be that Archons can't control how visions are given out.

The fatui harbingers do not work together, they look more Like friends on opportunity and also they may hate each other as seen with Childe and Signora in Liyue and when Childe says if needed to fight the other harbingers he is willing to help the traveller. Maybe scaramouche hidden the fact of being in the poossession of the gnosis from Signora and she were there to retrieve Ei's gnosis, this seems more right when the last move of Signora was a clear attempt to steal Baals gnosis like she did to venti
There's a missuderstand on the video, Signora was the Harbinger with the mission to collect the Gnosis and she didn't know that Scaramouch had the Gnosis already, so she went Tenshukako to probably negociate the Gnosis with Raiden, she even tried to pick her Gnosis by engaging with her hand before Raiden attacked her.

To know this difference is the tone of voice from Shogun and Ei. Ei has softer and more gentle tone when talking to us, thus indicating it's Ei's talking not the Shogun.

The game does do a “poor” job explaining why Signora was in Tenshukaku because we only see everything that the Traveler sees and experiences. For now, all we know is Signora was there as a diplomat with the Shogun but I think it will be expanded later down the line like how we now know the Abyss Order had a part in Osial’s resurrection or at least planned to capitalize on his resurrection. So maybe Signora being there has something to do with the Abyss Order since they also have their tendrils in everything the Traveler (we) have experienced so far?
Also yeah, the Fatui are always fighting for more diplomatic power in every nation. They sacrificed it in Liyue though for Morax’s gnosis and we should see how it plays out against the Nation of Eternity since a harbinger died on their soils.
it is true that Ei did not change her will after her defeat from battling Aether, but remember the last quest we have with her. The two went to wander around Inazuma city for a while and took a picture of Ei standing still and gentle and firm, I think her will was slightly affected by her date with Aether.

I believe this should explain the vision contradiction part.
First off, the voice and intonation indicate it is Ei, not the puppet. And the puppet would not have those kind of knowledge anyway.
She said she wanted to guide them to the correct path to eternity, which explains the vision hunt decree and confiscation of vision. If she were able to just simply not grant them, she would have just not do that. Why bother with giving out vision and taking them back?
It is obvious here that she cannot grant vision, but she did not want people to own vision and hurt themselves in the process, hence taking on the burden of guiding them as she would guide the blind.
TLDR: in term of giving vision, archon has no say. Yae talking about people wanting vision is more about the vision hunt decree and having their right to dream being stripped from them, and that Ei shouldnt do that.
@CatWithBlueHat about the vision be granted, the voice line in japanece have a diferent tone between the voice line, one tone es the one raiden has while the other is ei so part of the voice lines are from raiden and others to ei, if you take the voice lime about the kamisatous you will see that one is talked by raiden and the other by Ei since she is surprise about raiden said something similar to the other kamisato member. I dont know if in the english they have diferent tones when they talk

When it comes to visions and the i formation that we truly have about them I believe and for obvious good faith that Sumeru will give us a clearer answer as to Ei's voiceline about visions as she says its about desire and something else perhaps sumeru's god kusanali (or whoevwr might actually be the god that entire plot is hinting that its not the lesser lord kusanali) will give us the most information about visions being the god of knowledge.
And about the its just the puppet saying she cant grant them remember that ei can remotely control the puppet to a degree (atleast thats how I interpreted her hang out since so far shes the only real human archon weve met as the others was a dragon and elemental spirit so sealing herself away so her body would not decompose) I think its actually that she cant control who gets them but rather she does influence the requirements which just might be the other thing perhaps a god's desire and an individual's desire have to coincide within a certain degree such as eternity in this case meaning forever in some way whether that be protecting something, or dedicating yourself to something forever, or refusing to move forward (like fischl and being her childhood story hero refusing to grow past that). perhaps the idea of what eternity means was changed when Ei changed her perspective and thus nobody was able to meet that new perspective in a similar way

About why Signora went to the Tenshukaku, there are some theories that it could be because that Scaramouche didn't inform Signora or the others about obtaining Ei's gnosis and plans to use and keep it for his own will. Before Signora got eliminated by Raiden Shogun, you can clearly see Signora was reaching for Raiden's chest or rather where the gnosis should be too. It could also be that she's trying to fight against Raiden too.

The problem with the "she cannot grant or deny visions is said because the one saying it is the puppet instead of Ei herself" argument is that it is kinda lost if you at least listen to the JP version of the line, where the tone of voice indicates Ei is speaking.
From the English line itself it implies Ei is speaking because she mentions "outside world" which is improbable considering the Raiden Shogun *is* Ei's 'outdoors' persona, and we know Ei has been shutting herself out from the outside world since the conception of the Shogun puppet. Though it might be fair to say that she (the puppet) probably didn't care and deem it is important enough information to convey to Ei herself.
At the end of the story I want a feature for traveler, a secondary ability that you can use IN COMBAT to switch elements. Imagine that a one man team, geo is shields hydro (I assume) would be a healer. Just imagine being able to make an elemental reaction on the spot

I agree with you on the archons not granting visions, but to debunk the last bit- His vision was pyro i believe, or possibly just either of the others that so happened to not be Electro. So it wouldn't have been by the will of the Shogun to randomly give visions just to confiscate them.
My theory is that there are 3 factors that all contribute to one having a vision. First is that their ambision should be strong enough to warrant one. 2. Is that it has to correnspond to either one of the 7 archon's ideals (which is why I think there were no electro visions granted since the Sakoku Decree was implemented, because it cemented Ei's shifting principles. Hence even if a person's ambission is strong enough, if it didn't align to any of thr archon's ideas, it wont manifest. And third, it has to have Celestia's approval. I think, Celestia is more complex than the classic higher power villain trope that many are painting them to be. I think, they weigh a person's personal ambissions on whether they will be allowed a vision or not. Many vision holders understand that the vision they hold is irrelevant to their worth, some even going as far as saying that they have no particular care towards their visions like Albedo, Ningguang etc. While those who had a strong ambission and seems to think like it warrants them a vision doesn't.
This also opens up the idea that the puppet, scaramouche, and Albedo are made of the same kind meaning that if ei knows how to perform kianrian spells this mean that the nation was in peace after it got ef by celestia

In the new quest we understood how we were able to talk with ei out of the plansof euthomia cause she and the puppet became one thing she can control the puppet like her own body(in the walk after the archon quest) and that the puppet was rennegating eis control so she rewrote the rules by fighting etc.. so the fact that she doesnt grant visions could actually be the pppet they are the same and we got that cinfirmation only now so the puppet didnt lie that she doesn't give visions but ei didnt answer so we could still hsve the doubt

Overall, Inazuma's story was good, the hype was there but the thing that is a downer for me (IMO) is the story (especially the 3rd chapter) was really rushed and left behind a lot of plotholes in the game. Comparing it to Liyue chapter, the pacing there was good, there was good character development for the Liyue characters that took part in the story and it was concluded well. While playing inazuma chapter act 3 the part where you fight signora, I honestly thought that was still in the middle of the story, because the traveler just kind of left the resistance behind out of a fit of rage for seeing for what happened to teppei, and I was expecting Kokomi and the resistance to finally have a big showdown with the shogun, but to my surprise, the story just went ahead and placed kazuha and gorou and his army to storm tenshukaku (like wtf? are we just gonna be lead to assume that yae contacted them, and what about kokomi and beidou???). It really felt like the build up the 2nd act was for nothing. :/ Lastly, where the hell is Kujou Sara right after the ending? I am still hoping for mihoyo to give justice to how act 3 ended.
Sorry if I sound like one of those crying babies on Reddit, but I'm sure some of you guys felt that there should have been more to the Inazuma story.

Ei and Makoto were twin gods who were seen by everyone else as one person. Makoto was seen as the archon and Ei was just a god, or the Kagemusha. Before Makoto died, Ei was never an archon

About Ei "contradiction", there's is none. Ei has been meditating for 500 years, and the visions were granted normally. She only knew that the visions weren't been granted only when we told her. So clearly she don't have any control over it. And that matches with her lines and Zhongli's, cuz he don't understand very well how the visions work until when explain to him.

i think there might be 2 possiblities : as we know aether/lumine might be a royalty from khainreah(sorry if wrong spell) and we also know that khainreah was a technologically advanced land and that was probably the reason why it was destroyed. so i think the suit the traveler wears is actually some kind of vision container, something that does not need an ambition and allows you to use elemental powers. 2nd might be that travelers ambition, that we know as of now as to be finding their sibling, might be something bigger than that. like the path he maybe walking rn may include something bigger than just finding the sibling or travelling tevyat
After seeing this video, I also had a theory of myself.
I really don't think the archon can directly give Vision. If so, why didn't Tsaritsa bestow Signora with Cyro Vision? Instead, she was bestowed with Cyro delusion. You might say Vision only for mortals, but seeing Ganyu and Xiao (adepti) have a vision. I don't this is the case.
I think it's like how their feeling or ambition are aligned with the archon they would bestow with the vision, but as Ei said, there is another method. So I'm guessing there is another method that bestowing power but I don't think it's archon responsibility.
What a coecidence I just watched the last video
There is one point of difference between kazuha's duel wielding of the vision and the traveller's, kazuha was using both of the vision's power to block the puppet's strike when the traveller was distracted by the events ( the whole scene where he was walking out of the tenshukaku was unnerving to us to show the mindset of the traveller after the duel) while when traveller resonated with the visions in the plane of euthymia they were fighting the electro archon.

Archons granting or not granting vision might be outside of the mechanism, the archons may choose for what circumstances or specific kinds of ambitions that their element resonates to, but as for granting vision, this is maybe one of the "laws" Of teyvat, and this ties up to the power of khemia bypassing the "rules" Of teyvat that caused the catastrophe happened 500 years ago.

About Raiden's surprise attack, it was the puppet who let them leave the place. But the one who attacked them was Ei. So it isn’t anything like expiring her permission after leaving Tenshukaku. We can see her coming out of the plane of Yuthumia.
I think signoras goal Was the puppet shogun itself : a lifelike and nearly unbeatable human copy basically a Homunculus with the ability to draw from an archons power
Of course they have scaramouche but i guess one is not enough and he was also just a prototype with sealed powers . i would assume the Fatuis endgoal is to bring down celestia by uniting the World against it (via conquest) and the use of forbidden knowledge (which will most likely incite celestia to attack)

If I remember the start of the archon quest and Yae’s lines right, the traveller gained the power of the visions right at the start, as soon as he touched the statue of the omnipresent god. They got a headache and similar things to what we see when he uses the visions in the final fight flash up on screen. Yae also says that there were “ambitions long since entrusted to you,” suggesting something happened a while ago rather than just in the middle of the fight, but Yae helped him realise that he could use them (and she possibly knew as much from the moment she met us, which is why she knew we could beat Ei if we fought near the statue)

Traveler's ability to wield and resonate with so many visions can also be related to his/her ability to withstand multiple adeptal energy blessing. This is clearly a hint to his/her former strength and the large capacity it has for power.
Additionally, I think the gnosis being in the hands of its respective archon play a significant role in the granting of visions to the people in Teyvat. It was mentioned that only Electro vision was not given out to the people since the start of Ei's seclusion, and that coincides with Ei removing the gnosis and handing it over to Yae Miko. Assuming that the gnosis hunt begun with Venti, since he is currently the weakest archon due to being inactive as a god, it is logical that the vision granting process for all the other elements were unimpeded before the start of the Traveler's journey with Paimon except the electro element as Ei was already separated with her gnosis.
We can also extrapolate on this phenomenon that gnosis does not grant power to the archons, instead it is the other way around, with the archons being batteries for the gnosis. Gnosis comes from Celestia and its purposes can be to give archons authority to make a nation. We know Khaenri'ah and Celestia were enemies but the reason could be that they are a nation without an archon which also means they had no gnosis.

My first impression is that Scaramouche simply did not tell Signora that he already got the Gnosis - a cruel irony after Signora kept Childe in the dark about Morax's Gnosis back in Liyue. As for why he would do that, either he wanted to make 100% sure that what Yae gave him was the real Gnosis before he told Signora (so she wouldn't laugh in his face if it was fake) or he simply didn't care about Signora. If you hear the jp va, they make it very apparent when Shogun or Ei is talking so the part about vision not being granted was Ei talking
To further confirm that the Fatui have a bigger plan, is when you talk to the two fatui members by the teleport waypoint in Monstadt, they talk about the vision hunt decree, though only believing it was put in place by the archon, and not the Fatui's doing, which means, it must be a secret within the Fatui itself. Then also talks about Signora's death, believe it was some sort of ritual, then go on to say that rumour have be going around in Shenzch saying that Signora was barely powerful enough and that the Fatui will bring in someone stronger in order to make the Fatui even stronger
if we do get to see yae's fox form I hope she's as big as azhdaha and dvalin. It would be cool to see genshin's kurama

1:25 no contradiction she never said she granted people visions in that dialogue, she only "seem to imply". You can think that even tough she doesnt control the granting vision process, her subconscious affects it
1:54 I believe that The voicelines for Puppet and Ei in her Profile Chats are different, we can clearly differentiate between Ei's soft voice and Shogun's stiff voice, the voiceline about Visions being granted without Ei's will are clearly Ei's voicelines and not the puppet herself.
I'd like to think that Scaramouche sent Signora to collect the gnosis to Raiden Shogun even if he already had it. It just feels so in character for him to send one of his subordinates to death just because of his disregard for human life.
Signora is not his subordinate though all the harbingers are of equal standing
Signora was probably already there already and so was scaramouche signora was probably trying to get the gnosis and scaramoiche was making delusion but the gnosis ended up with scaramouche

there is a voiceline that Ei barely found out that Electro visions have not been granted for a long time, so my theory is that when their ambitions or determinations somehow align (the archon of the specific element and the future vision holder) , their vision is granted by Celestia.
1:33 The difference in tone from the Shogun to Ei is more distinct in JP. I checked that line and I'm pretty sure it was Ei talking.
