in the case of ningguang might it also be possible that morax saw she had in her hands a masterless vision and simply reset it and making it activate for her
Hopefully after this arc, the traveller will remember that this journey isn't just about the end of finding their sister but the journey through Teyvat as well and learning about it.
Well it technically is about finding his sister because they wanted to leave ever since the start of the game.....for us its probably about the journey through Teyvat
I personally feel the inazuma arc wasn't entirely pointless after being rattled by the We Will Be Reunited event They needed to remember there journey is about more than just have you seen my sister
Yep. Aether's journey isn't about only finding Lumine anymore. She clearly said that he needs to *finish the same journey* as she did in order to them reunited again, and for Aether to understand what the hell is going on in Teyvat.
@@velvetra29 and considering venti didn't stop the nobles sooner Zhongli punished azdaha instead of the humans(whose overmining caused the beast pain) And Ei who basically abandoned Inazuma Because she couldn't reconcile her loses and fears It's abundantly clear the Archon's are very unstable people and that teyvat might have bigger problems
This is why I believe that Ayaka's and Yoimiya's story quest is more about the growth of the Traveler. Both have 2 important message: Don't live without Regret and Enjoy the Journey and the little things in life. After "We will be Reunited", The traveler kind of forgot their roots of curiosity and and willing to help. But after seeing people suffer so much from the vision hunt decree their couldn't watch the common people suffer and decide to help. Then with the story quest, it reminds them what they find joy in exploration. Now with La Signora's death, the effect on him would be interesting. I also want to see Paimon's growth. Like after the Traveler almost dying several times during this archon quest. She may be hesitant for the traveler to do anything or even try to stop them for their safety.
And also I hope there will be no more questions about our twin in the future because we have met, we just need to know the real Teyvat side But it seems our traveler forgot to focus on that
all the archons had some sort of land shaping abilities Zhongli with the stone spear pillars Venti flattening the big mountain and Ei cutting mountains apart.
Mihoyo could've just sticked with the simple archon gives visions because they like them but they actually went the extra mile to make the lore about visions really interesting and wide. Kudos to them for making a really awesome world!
i think all this is planned, considering how 500+ people work at mihoyo. and the first sustainer of heavenly principles also play a big role in the entire game although she only appear briefly
@@afaresfors but from venti and zhongli's side of things, its very different than what has been brought up since inazume released. I like both approaches tho so i aint gonna complain.
I think Aether needs to change his strategy about finding Lumine. So far, none of three nations nor their gods knows any of her whereabouts, besides she has been on Tevyat around 500 years, apart from him. And that's plenty of time for her to hide any traces. Why not hunt down Abyss mages?
Lumine, the last time she's reunited with Aether, said that he needs to *finish the same journey* as she did in order to reunite with her again and understand what's really going on in Teyvat.
to be fair, the sustainer of heavenly principles claims to be a god, so it might be possible in the traveler mind however small that she might be an archon. He doesn't have much leads anyways, so searching for an archon for answers may be his only possible lead
Another thing about Ei's outfit and the themes of duality is that the right sleeve Ei wears is also in reference to how Makoto wore her Kimono. While the left arm with the armor is how Ei wore her kimono. I love these little details that mihoyo adds to their designs that they don't really NEED to add but they do it anyway and it's so good. It's why she's my favorite female design in the game. God I love this game so much.
I can't help but feel it convenient that the Archon that lost their twin never had the chance to answer our question about our own lost twin. Looks like MiHoYo saw that given how personal this would be for Ei as well as the traveller whose pain she would understand. She would have actually helped us look for our twin.
Traveler’s sibling already wander the world once, so maybe journey to inazuma also have important role to understand why traveler’s sibling siding with abyss order
2.2 will be some lore expansion. That's the only reason I see why they cut the civil war short. Either explanation of the Dark Sea where the other Gods fled to or introduction of the Abyss' plans in Inazuma
Nope, inazuma is not related to traveller's sibling. Like anything that happens there stays there and unrelated to the rest of Teyvat. Thus it does not have anything to do with the abyss order.
i think the abyss sibling wants us to travel the whole of whole of teyvat and learn the truth of the world(which is the same goal as albedo's) and after learning it we might have to take a big decision of either joining the abyss or opposing them
The abyss sibling must not want to force or feed our traveler with lies. So they let us really get to know this World and then decide to join their sibling or not
Now I wonder, what if the mc decided to join their sibling in the abyss, that would be epic. I wonder what will happen to the other characters relationship to the mc.
If that ends up happening then that would be one of the most difficult decision making in the history of video games. Because we all know that we cannot replay the archon quest so it's not like we do one ending and then do the other.
@@bruh6267 won't happen, recent regulation on storytelling in china forbids making complex moral choices where one side could be seen as good and one side could be seen as bad. media must present the side the consumer is viewing the story from as ultimately good, and there must not be any choices to go against this good side, and characters that are evil much remain evil, and consumers may not play as such characters.
@@vuthasokban5898 that's just their nature(about gorou is unknown tho) They not really dislike their visions, but either wanted something else or doesn't care about it.
Honestly, I had a different theory when Kazuha's friend's vision lit up, but after your thoughts, I seem to have fleshed it out more. The main point of my theory is that vision wielders' ambitions reflect the will of the archon of that element, which is how we thought that archons gave visions in the first place. Notice how Anemo vision users (Xiao inclued to an extent) wish for freedom most of all, while Geo users often adhere to a set of rules, or "contracts," whether to themselves or to others. My theory for Electro users is that they deny reality, much like how Raiden Ei denies several things about her reality. Fischl is the best example of this, but Razor and Lisa do exhibit some traits as well. Kazuha's friend, from his lines, make me think that he denies the fact that the Musou no Hitotachi is all-powerful, in name and in pure strength, "for there will always be those who brave the lightning's glow." The reason why Kazuha managed to light up his friend's vision is because he denies the reality that the traveler would be extinguished so easily + his friend's original ambition, while at the same time carrying his own ambition of fighting for freedom, for himself and for Inazuma. Of course, I could be wrong, especially since Beidou contradicts a lot of what I thought about Electro users. And I have a feeling she isn't the only exception. But it would be interesting to see the remaining archons and their wills to see how else this theory can apply. Feel free to point anything out in my theory whether to prove or disprove, let's add some discourse into this. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk
I once heard that Electro visions are given to those that wish to protect the innocent or need to be taken care of because they have nobody to help them. Ei lost her friends and sister (the most important people to her) and for this she felt the need to isolate herself. Razor always felt misplaced cause, well, he's a human raised by wolves. Sara trusted her clan without a question her whole life but they never treated her like family; and she may not be accepted by the tengu because she was not raised by them. Fischl grew up alone most of her life, having to create a whole universe in her head to make her feel special. Beidou is the perfect person to care for the other electro vision holders. Lisa still is a mystery for me, but I guess she might have felt like she had to spend the last few years of her short life next to the people that care about her.
TBF, Beidou got her vision for killing a dragonlike seamonster that had been terrorizing the ocean for a long time, beheading it in one stroke. Exactly like she'd been dreaming of since she was 9-years-old. Note that by this time she'd already long gone, 'Welp. Life sucks. Those effing moneygrubbers. That's it. I'm off to sea to become pirate queen' My headcanon is pretty similar to yours, but basically goes, 'Electro Users usually get their Visions to help chase unrealistic dreams/ideals. Beidou got hers as a reward for achieving them, having blindsided even the force that distributes them. (She not only took ownership of a niche slice of reality where things go the way she wants things to be, (That is: Her ship (and later fleet) 'My boat. My rules' basically) But also succeeded in her longtime dream of killing a sea monster in one blow in the process.
@@lazlowo Electro visions are more related to “overcoming their own personal reality and making it real”, such with beidou’s and lisa’s as well with Amy eventually becoming the characther she loved most
Can you make a video about Yasumoto? The naku weed pharmacist. In the last part of his quest, he left the naku weed basket untouched. Then he left a letter to the traveller. Bruh I think he died. I have read somewhere that the Luxurious chest is his remains. All these NPC deaths in Inazuma is heartbreaking..
Here's a theory I read which I think might be true.It says that Yasumoto died because of the effects of the Naku weed medicine.Since he has no one to test the Medicine on and it's effects is unknown he decided to test it to himself but he couldn't withstand it so he died.
bro what. He died!? So that's why he didnt took the naku weeds in the basket anymore and a mini quest told me to follow something using the elemental sight, although i didnt manage to finish it since i got lost mid way because i can't find the clue thingy anymore, i guess imma try and finish it today. ngl, him dying kinda hits hard.
There is one thing that Yae Miko said that caught my attention, we (the traveler) can manipulate all elements not precisely because we are special, but because our ambition doesn’t have a vision attached to it, our Abyss sibling might have started out with this same ambition as ours, but they have clearly changed and are now using Abyss magic while we use the Elements. This seems really important
It's more like the traveller is an empty vessel to absorb powers. He absorbed elemental powers from the statue of the seven. During the Overlord of the Vortex fight, he absorbed all the adeptal powers from several adepti. During the fight with Ei, he absorbed the ambitious powers from the visions in omnipresent statue. So he would be able to absorb and use abyssal powers too in the future. The true nature of the traveller is a star level being.
@@genshinsage More like black hole, really. Swallow everything you touch, shine brighter than the stars. The plot thickens and spins around traveler, setting off events that naturally would take a long time to shoot up. A perfect catalyst. Just like the black hole.
That Mt. Yougou slash reveal reminds me of the Naruto vs Sasuke scene where Naruto's Rasengan only made a tiny hole on the water tank, but completely blown the entire back part of it.
@@Dubs22005 The burst slash was concentrated "narrow" from the origin point. As the attack travelled straight across the map, it diffused into a wider burst but missed the other islands' ground level because they were below the horizon.
Our Traveller is technically no longer looking for their sibling. We are now traveling all of Teyvat to learn the true nature of this world. They lived for 500 years in this world, what's a couple more. They have always had time.
Well the traveler reunited briefly, but the abyss sibling don't want to go together with traveler until they know the truth about Teyvat by basically exploring the entire world.
The reason why kazuha's electro vision get deactivated is because after experiencing raiden's attack, kazuha was like " Shit, i ain't going to do that again "
And it was only puppet power, a mere fraction of Ei true power, since we can see its musou only enough to kill people and not destroy the environment around it,like its kill signora but doesnt scratch the room or destroy the palace If that was Ei musou no hitotachi, kazuha and inazuma capital will split in a half 😂
@@fernandosiahaan906 As said in Ei's story quest, when Shogun brings out the sword, she's deciding the kind of move to be used. So the power level could have been adjusted accordingly.
I've always thought the part where Gorou and Kazuha suddenly appearing in front of the gates kinda feels not right. There should've been some sort of discussion or hints before reaching this part. Also we did not get to see a longer cutscene about Kazuha and his friend's Vision now that its mission is fulfilled, which feels a bit of a letdown. Even though we discussed about it a lot back in 1.6, to the point it had its own set of events and cutscenes for it. Just thinking Kazu deserves more screen time about his journey. Perhaps mHY plans to make this as part of his story quests or maybe 2.2.... Hopefully. idk. Anyway, nice video as always CWBH!
I heard that next patch event will be Kazuha's event. But I do still hope he'll get a story quest bc it's not fair that he's the only 5* that doesn't get it😔
they ahve plans for the upcoming patches for sure and i personally think this is their new strat on making filler pacthes more interesting rather than festivals all over agin
Interestingly enough, I understood how they got there immediately. Yae mentions, in her discussion with the Traveler regarding their capacity to take on Ei how their Will was all the more important seeing as their Visions had been taken, that as a result they'd still have a part to play. When the statue lit up I understood that they were brought there to have their wills resonate with the statues. It only made sense if you'd managed to remember those details and connect the dots quickly. Just because it didn't make sense instantly in the moment doesn't make it bad, though. It's not like the Traveler themselves understood when it happened, either.
This joke isn't original but here goes. Traveler: *helps the archon with a lot of work and they won't answer anything* Also traveler: *helps a random stranger gave him 500 mora and found sibling*
@@jamalhardiansyah5943 and why it was exactly 500?? It's bcz dain was trying to point at something? For exp dendro archon died 500yrs ago, cataclysm happened 500yrs ago and khanriah collapsed 500yrs ago and dain is from khanriah so..........
This arc was important as it goes to show how much of an effect the fatui is capable of. As well as the progress the traveller has made, being able to slay a harbinger. This arc is also beautiful and serene with rich history in lore and lore building. The understanding of what happened to khanriah and that even the events 500 years ago still holds memory in the gods now, this arc is in no means useless. It provided us a deeper understanding and i truly did love this arc
I think it's because at that exact moment Kazuha is doing the essence of Tomo's vision: standing up against injustice no matter what the odds are. By facing raiden head on Tomo's will resurface. That's also why it lights up only at that moment then disappear again.
But why do I feel about it was about the Enkanomiya thing that will be on the next update with Kokomi......or is it just me that hasn't gotten the mission yet to go there after collecting the key
As much as I like the Inazuma last archon quest, the execution is poor but the idea is good. Lore, pace, etc. are good but I feel like there are some parts that left out unanswered, forcing players to look through google just to clear our the confusions. I’m looking forward to Sumeru.
I forgot if you were the one who was confused about how Kazuha and Gorou got to tenshukaku so quickly, but I have a lead. When I was reading the portable waypoint description, I noticed the "it offers an incredible convenience to Vision bearers," part of it, and it intrigued me. Although I'm not a very good researcher, I hope it helps you in another theory.
Another interesting design in Ei I want to point out is that the sleeves on her model actually resembles Makoto's sleeves on the left and Ei's on the right.
As usual, enjoyed your insights. Sometimes players are just too caught in the quests and other things that we’ve paid little details to the storyline. You’ve managed to summarize the arc nicely and it is well understood. Keep it up 👍🏼
Actually if you search around inazuma and read the message boards around shops, you can see that Gorou, Kazuha, and some people from the resistance where undercover in Inazuma city, one of the message boards also proves that Kazuha is still a year or two from legally drinking alcohol (the legal drinking age in japan is 20)
Barbatos can blew up a mountain and islands, Morax can stabbed thousands of monsters and gods, Ei can slashed islands also a big snake-dragon monster.. Can't wait for what Dendro archon can do *-*
This part of the archon quest also nicely ties most of the world quests in Inazuma. How the citizens are suffering because their archon is too caught up with her quest for eternity. Which is also ironic as most of these world quests depicts how temporary and fleeting life is with the numerous deaths explicitly and implicitly shown. Her will to bring eternity to her land only made it more susceptible to transience.
I have a theory: in mondstadt the conflict isn’t very sinister, after that, in liyue, we help rex lapis fake his death, which is slightly more sinister. after, we go to inazuma; which we witness our first major deaths (teppei and signora), and a war. I think the problems slowly become worse with each nation, so the last nation we visit (shneznaya I believe?) will have to be the worst one, maybe our boss fight there would be against our sibling just a theory! ^^
"We have all the time in this world" - Lumine/Aether i wanted to say this because this is what hit me most, don't rush things, think and think and see what you want or what you need then let you, and yourself decide so that you will not have a regretful life
We did learn 2 things in though, more about fatui and delusions, and about visions and how they are the desires of people instead of given by the seven
3:49 ok but also all the shogunate guards were collapsed on the floor on the way to Tenshukaku, rendering it basically defenseless, so they took advantage of it and stormed in
The Traveler: Let's not get involved in their problems Also the traveler: Dates one of the highest family members, becomes high ranked admiral at the resistence, invades the private realm of a god, duels her and ends up bringing peace and somehow also dates the archon in a weird way.
About the resistance's approach on the Shogun's castle, did everyone forget about all of the incapacitated/dead Inazuman soldiers as our Traveler made their way to the Tenshukaku? Fatui did some serious damage to Ei's forces.
That was inside Tenshukaku, all of the interior guard were beaten by Kujou Sara alone. The problem lies on how resistance member could even penetrate the main island defense and city that were supposed to be heavily guarded by Shogunate spearmen? Also the frontlines are way back into near of Sangonomiya shrine island. Inflitrating that many people is pretty hard.
To me The Inazuma event wasn't pointless Lumine did say that aether needed to travel to know what it's like He has to realized that like in real life, our goals and ambitions get achieved not by following a straight line to the finish line ,but weave around the race of life, picking up every small thing on the way there so when you get there, you aren't the person who started anymore but a winner, someone with the same looks, same dream, but this time, you would have achieved it Inazuma taught the traveler that life isn't all peaceful, life sucks, you have to see your friends and love ones die They also see now that revenge isn't a good path to go seeing how killing Signora didn't give them the fulfillment they wanted, but instead only gave them a type of numbness
Not only that but this also brings us back to the adventurer that perished in the icy mountain and how his own vision, or ambition in this case lasted long upon the mountain itself and how it was influencing all the events in that piece of story.
You are tellin me Ei (or makoto? But I remember Ei herself said she personally executed orobashi) just sits on top the mountain and swings the booba sword...? Dope.
Love this channel It helps me understand the deeper lore of the genshin world and makes the story quests more enjoyable cause I understand the material better
Here is my theory, let's work with Aether as the chosen MC now and Lumine as the lost sibling. Lumine tells Aether to reach the end of the journey in Tevyat. Maybe that means that while he's travelling from region to another, he will understand all the bad things the archons did, and the crisis of each nation. Maybe he will understand at the end why did Lumine join the abyss and is trying to get her revenge against the gods who destroyed Khanrei'ah, a region that has something to do with both siblings. Personal opinion: I would do the same if I was at Lumine's place, so far I don't really like the archons. Venti: Irresponsible about his nation, which caused the Lawrence clan to appear and generally chaos. Zhongli: wasn't even trying to stop Osial from destroying Liyue, even tho he had his gnosis at that time, he could have stopped Osial then give the gnosis to the fatui. Ei: Unecessary war, the vision hunt decree caused alot of problems in her nation, and alot of people to loose their lives, shows how bad of an archon she is. I also have a problem with Yae Miko, she could have spoke to her from the start, since she's the only one that knows the way to the plan of euthymia
The ones who came as reinforcements are a specialised task force consisting of the best fighters and the swordfish platoons. They could be a strike group who came to recon the area after hearing about kujou sara rampaging around and there was also the eerie atmosphere on the island
In reference to the importance of ambition being able to outlive the person, this goes hand in hand with Unreconciled Stars from the v1.1 event with Mona and Fischl 👍
I am glad I am not the only who remembers that. The Unreconiled Stars event is very underrated and forgotten. The information we got from it was very ahead of its time.
Inazuma did help the traveler... He starts all depressed and serious after the events with it sib and at the end of Inazuma arc he is more relaxed and happier...
I think it was useful for the traveller to help in the region problem. Eventually we need all the help and favors we can get for possible the finale. Plus we get much closer to Archon. its obious we know all archon know about the sibling but was told don't talk about it. hence yae don't know because she is out of the loop about what really happened. and if we don't help a nation and we approach a archon he/she will say "who are you" and tried to kill us. but if we help out and we approach, "thank you very much, I owned a debt to you for helping out nation" we have one ready for what really going to happened.
This is what i believe about visions: So each vision has a seal around it and its different depending on the nation the user comes from, but we also know Thoma is not from Inazuma, even tho he still wears a vision with inazuman seal, so that means that the archon of the specific nation offers ONLY "the seal" and the element the vision is depends on the ideal and ambition of the user, if the user's ideals/ambitions correspond with the ones of Morax the vision is Geo, if the ideals/ambitions correspond with the ones of Beelzebul the vision is electro and so on. Take for an example Jean, her vision seal is Mondstadt her element is Anemo, so it means she's from Mondastadt and her ideals correspond with Venti's( freedom/the fight for freedom) Or think about similarities between characters with the same element, Hu tao, Bennet, Klee- playfull, ambitious or agitated. Eula, Rosaria, Ganyu- calm, cold, direct or restricted and so on for other characters Anyway this is my opinion, no reason to be mad.
Its so touching to know that Kazuha got to fulfil his friend's wish. I always thought he blocked the Musou no hitotachi because of the regret that he couldnt save his friend before.
Just wanna add this for anyone who didn’t know: the reason Gorou, Kazuha and the Sangonomiya army were at Tenshukaku without anyone stopping them is because Ayato helped them go in undetected.
I think that the design detail with the hair ornament is quite interesting. The Raiden Shogun was always seen as the one leading their nation, meaning usually all others would stand in her back. But Ei was always looking for something else and she couldn't do that, facing her own nation. When she did, things changed rapidly for her.
The first time i notice mossou gorge align with narukami shrine, i thought that may be Raiden strike oroba-something by standing at floating rock between mount yougou . But now that you show that slashing area in the video its all make sense now. The balethunder at the mussou gorge is actually just left over elemental energy from the mussou no hitotachi. But in mount Yougou since it much further away, the energy is not strong enough to damage us but still strong enough to levitate some boulder. When Signora was executed by Shogun, the left over effect is still present (when traveller walk out of tenshukaku after defeating signora, paimon mention about air feel heavy), although not as powerful as the mussou gorge possibly because Ei no longer using gnosis to amplify it.
When Sara was about to arrest the traveler at the shrine, Yae miko said that it was forbiden to execute violence on that ground. Seeing how in the animation, Ei cuts a straight line from the shrine to the island where it would have been the giant snake it tells me that it was because of Ei's action that she forbid the use of violence.
Mt.Yaugou Damage is most likely comes from debris of Yashori island and blast wave itself just like from powerfull explosion, also we dont see other cuts allong the way from initial slash to the Mt.Yaugou so its safe to assume that massive ammount of land mass and water went flying there and did all this damage, this is also explains why we have the same overcharged water at the bottom of the mountain.. It does not belittles the power of slash itself in any way tho, its just shows that miHoYo put a lot of thought in lore and map design and did it with consideration of physics.
I believe the thing about gorou and kazuha being at tenshukaku is because of Ayaka. After the traveller got the documents for Yae, Ayaka said she will get assistance from the resistance army. Ayaka also knows that the documents are by Yae Miko's orders so its possible that Ayaka told resistance to go help traveller in narukami shrine and yae was there to tell resistance that traveller is in tenshukaku
I think Inazuma showed the Traveler a person someone just like her/him in Ei. She lost her sister just like the Traveler but it shows that the pain of loss blinded Ei from the present(Which Baal represented) because she was always thinking of the future. It's also show that the Traveler could end up like The Raiden Shogun always focused on the mission and never able to change for better or worse.
Nah after scara incident in factory, kokomi and resistance forces take care of everything, hunt the remaining delusion and fatui (said by yae herself). After that they press the attack and kokomi prob already notice the weak state of shogunate forces in absence of their leader sara, so they take advantage of this. Finally they make their breakthrough to the narukami island in front of tenshukaku and raiden. It's the small forces you see bcos it's the last remaining one, kokomi and beidou as their leader right behind them I suppose. So no even without yae to telling them, resistance forces already make their way after scara until right before shogun, yae can predict things will go this way right before omnipresent statue so it's perfect opportunity to beat ei with those vision and the whole resistance forces ambition as its trigger. Every last pieces is needed.
Remember when Yae mentioned "Kokomi already took all of the delusions away" without anyone in the Resistance telling her and also "I heard you defeated a Harbinger in battle!" without actually being there? Even if her omamori acts as a spy cam and warp point that doesn't explain how Yae knows what the Resistance is up to. She's very sus
@@azutsukimiya yah yae is everywhere 😂 bout kokomi I think it's bcos traveler is fainted after scara so didn't know anything, kokomi and her forces prob stormed delusion factory right after us and cleaned things up, that's why yae knows, she admire kokomi too so maybe talked much with her afterwards. And with traveler yeah that omamori is obviously her spy cam and warp gate 😂. Yoimiya mentioned in her voicelines too that yae is everywhere lol.
Another detail is when Shogun said the traveller can leave tenshukaku alive, the traveller did leave tenshukaku's property alive. but past the main gate of tenshukaku, she attacked.
I think we might be getting the second story quest with ei like zhongli. Theres a side quest on watatsumi that give key to go underwater, there must be something going on within the whirlpool in the middle of watatsumi and some smaller one on the outer side of the island. Someone on the island said theres 2 serpent god which one has been slayed trying to invade narukami island and the other one is still alive under the whirlpool. Maybe we gonna fight it along side with raiden and the serpent gonna be weekly boss like azdaha.
there are really good meta theory crafters like tenten and there are really good lore theory crafters that are like catwithbluehat, these people are what make the game more interesting when u have no resin and events to do
Oh my God I never made the connection that Kazuha's friend's vision activated because his ambition was to see if anyone could withstand the Musou no Hitotachi🤯 This just makes our rescue even more meaningful 😭💜
The Traveler in Mondstadt & Liyue: I'll help you as long as you tell me where my sibling is. The Traveler in Inazuma: I don't want to be involve in your Civil War, I just want to know where my sibling is. Me: Is the Traveler becoming mature and self concious?!
On the one with Gorou and Kazuha at Tenshukaku, I believe a part of the trailer was left out; Kujou Sara conversing with Kokomi and the resistance knowing that the Fatui was behind it all. I suppose (key:suppose) they negotiated to a plan to tell the Shogun the truth but didn't expect that she'll come out to slash the traveller. In short, my conclusion is they went to Tenshukaku to negotiate with the Shogun but unexpected things turned out.
I love your videos! You explain everything so well. I have understood a lot of things thanks to you :D and the images and footage you choose are attractive as well. :)
Inazuma arc was so awesome but it feels like a filler episode in an anime. But I do think we will get at least one info about our sibling. We didn’t get to ask Ei anything about our sibling yet. Ei was there in the cataclysm so, she might know something about it. Hopefully, she isn’t forbidden to talk about it. She might have a second quest like Zhongli.
I think so that shes gonna have second quest also. Because theres a side quest on watatsumi that give key to go underwater, there must be something going on with the whirlpool in the middle of watatsumi and some smaller one on the outer side. Someone on the island said theres 2 serpent god which one has been slayed trying to invade narukami island and the other one is still alive under the whirlpool. Maybe we gonna fight it along side with raiden and the serpent gonna be weekly boss like azdaha.
By the way, the traveller does tell Yae Miko about what happens to their sibling and asks about the whereabouts of their sibling too, so Miko does know about them when she brings it up.
The Serpent god of Watatsumi is still called Orobashi btw. It's a Japanese name and if it were truly Orobaxi the people would pronounce it differently in the Japanese version of the game. Edit: I learned that Orobaxi is the Chinese reading for whatever reason. It still sounds wrong but apparently, it isn't, so you're good to keep using this name.
We pay 500 mora to Dain and get alot of information about our sibling than after we abolish Vision Hunt Decree and there is no information about our sibling lol.

Hopefully after this arc, the traveller will remember that this journey isn't just about the end of finding their sister but the journey through Teyvat as well and learning about it.
ye even their abyss sibling said to learn the world's ways before understanding their actions
What about Fatui? They started violence Inazuma under objective after Liyue within Vision Hunt Decree and they're behind whole plot than Abyss Order
Well it technically is about finding his sister because they wanted to leave ever since the start of the game.....for us its probably about the journey through Teyvat
yeah, that's what everyone said. Zhongli, dainsleif, yoimiya, even the abyss traveller
Ikr!! This journey isn't just about finding their siblings but also to learn the truth about this world!
I personally feel the inazuma arc wasn't entirely pointless after being rattled by the
We Will Be Reunited event
They needed to remember there journey is about more than just have you seen my sister
Yep. Aether's journey isn't about only finding Lumine anymore. She clearly said that he needs to *finish the same journey* as she did in order to them reunited again, and for Aether to understand what the hell is going on in Teyvat.
@@velvetra29 and considering venti didn't stop the nobles sooner
Zhongli punished azdaha instead of the humans(whose overmining caused the beast pain)
And Ei who basically abandoned Inazuma
Because she couldn't reconcile her loses and fears
It's abundantly clear the Archon's are very unstable people and that teyvat might have bigger problems
Well Liyue's and Mondstadt's arcs didn't contribute much to the Finding Sibling story either.
And on the cryo gemstone used to ascend characters, it's implied that the Tsaritsa can make it snow
And together they create Minecraft amplified world generation
It's not an ability. It's just to show how OP they are.

Mihoyo could've just sticked with the simple archon gives visions because they like them but they actually went the extra mile to make the lore about visions really interesting and wide. Kudos to them for making a really awesome world!
producer 1: did we really make the game really that complicated?
producer 2: beats me
i think all this is planned, considering how 500+ people work at mihoyo. and the first sustainer of heavenly principles also play a big role in the entire game although she only appear briefly
@@afaresfors but from venti and zhongli's side of things, its very different than what has been brought up since inazume released. I like both approaches tho so i aint gonna complain.
Trust me, the lore will slowly become very complicated after this.
Mihoyo must finally release some info about Unknown God, anything. We are 1 year in the game and we know absolutely nothing from 3/7 gods.
So far, finding Dainsleif seems to be Aether's best choice on getting closer to Lumine.
doesnt zhongli know something but he couldnt say due to his contract?
to be fair, the sustainer of heavenly principles claims to be a god, so it might be possible in the traveler mind however small that she might be an archon. He doesn't have much leads anyways, so searching for an archon for answers may be his only possible lead
The MC is searching for the "unknown god" to find answers as well... It's about solving the mystery too
Another thing about Ei's outfit and the themes of duality is that the right sleeve Ei wears is also in reference to how Makoto wore her Kimono.
Ei locked herself up soon after Khaenri'ah so she wouldn't know much about the Traveler's twin anyway.

So they let us really get to know this World and then decide to join their sibling or not
Having alternative routes and ending, thats a nice content in the future
Now I wonder, what if the mc decided to join their sibling in the abyss, that would be epic. I wonder what will happen to the other characters relationship to the mc.
If that ends up happening then that would be one of the most difficult decision making in the history of video games. Because we all know that we cannot replay the archon quest so it's not like we do one ending and then do the other.

@@lazlowo Lisa just literally thought that she needs a vision when she got her vision
That's it. I'm off to sea to become pirate queen'
My headcanon is pretty similar to yours, but basically goes, 'Electro Users usually get their Visions to help chase unrealistic dreams/ideals. Beidou got hers as a reward for achieving them, having blindsided even the force that distributes them.
(She not only took ownership of a niche slice of reality where things go the way she wants things to be,
(That is: Her ship (and later fleet) 'My boat. My rules' basically)
But also succeeded in her longtime dream of killing a sea monster in one blow in the process.
@@lazlowo Electro visions are more related to “overcoming their own personal reality and making it real”, such with beidou’s and lisa’s as well with Amy eventually becoming the characther she loved most
I fail to see how Sayu and Sucrose represent freedom. Other than maybe the freedom to sleep and do work?
Can you make a video about Yasumoto? The naku weed pharmacist. In the last part of his quest, he left the naku weed basket untouched. Then he left a letter to the traveller. Bruh I think he died. I have read somewhere that the Luxurious chest is his remains. All these NPC deaths in Inazuma is heartbreaking..
I also heard the he died trying the medicine he himself created
I think he mentioned that in another video
Here's a theory I read which I think might be true.It says that Yasumoto died because of the effects of the Naku weed medicine.Since he has no one to test the Medicine on and it's effects is unknown he decided to test it to himself but he couldn't withstand it so he died.
@@ashkore1459 yeah and he want to save the other but not sure about side effect,so he try that medicine in full dose and died..😞😞

Im grateful I didn’t skip him and also won 50/50 ty mihoyo

The resistance army needs more screen time. So far, they are the most welcoming group in Inazuma.

If the whole genshin story finishes i need an anime series about this, this storyline is incredible
I think the problems slowly become worse with each nation, so the last nation we visit (shneznaya I believe?) will have to be the worst one, maybe our boss fight there would be against our sibling
just a theory! ^^

- Lumine/Aether
i wanted to say this because this is what hit me most, don't rush things, think and think and see what you want or what you need then let you, and yourself decide so that you will not have a regretful life
This line is also an implication that the siblings are far older than any god on teyvat. They are star level beings.
Electrovision seems to activate when users want to protect someone/something or experiences heartbreak. Like Fischl, Razor, and Beidou.
We did learn 2 things in though, more about fatui and delusions, and about visions and how they are the desires of people instead of given by the seven
I think we may still have a Quest with dain before sumeru, just so we can catch up with how the abyss is doing since that last quest at 1.4
Kazuha: risks their life to reignite a vision to protect their friend from a powerful attack from a god
Traveler: *switches to zhongli*
3:49 ok but also all the shogunate guards were collapsed on the floor on the way to Tenshukaku, rendering it basically defenseless, so they took advantage of it and stormed in
The Traveler: Let's not get involved in their problems
Also the traveler: Dates one of the highest family members, becomes high ranked admiral at the resistence, invades the private realm of a god, duels her and ends up bringing peace and somehow also dates the archon in a weird way.
Keep up the good work on being the best plot-driven official-only information and theory channel on TH-cam
To me
The Inazuma event wasn't pointless
Lumine did say that aether needed to travel to know what it's like
He has to realized that like in real life, our goals and ambitions get achieved not by following a straight line to the finish line ,but weave around the race of life, picking up every small thing on the way there so when you get there, you aren't the person who started anymore but a winner, someone with the same looks, same dream, but this time, you would have achieved it
Inazuma taught the traveler that life isn't all peaceful, life sucks, you have to see your friends and love ones die
They also see now that revenge isn't a good path to go seeing how killing Signora didn't give them the fulfillment they wanted, but instead only gave them a type of numbness
Not only that but this also brings us back to the adventurer that perished in the icy mountain and how his own vision, or ambition in this case lasted long upon the mountain itself and how it was influencing all the events in that piece of story.
Thank you for the hard work on pointing out those details, i missed most of them so im grateful for your videos
You are tellin me Ei (or makoto? But I remember Ei herself said she personally executed orobashi) just sits on top the mountain and swings the booba sword...? Dope.
Love this channel
It helps me understand the deeper lore of the genshin world and makes the story quests more enjoyable cause I understand the material better
Inazuma arc was soo good. Idk why some people dislike it. It was definitely better than the other two where we had to fight a gaint monster.
This is what i believe about visions:
So each vision has a seal around it and its different depending on the nation the user comes from, but we also know Thoma is not from Inazuma, even tho he still wears a vision with inazuman seal, so that means that the archon of the specific nation offers ONLY "the seal" and the element the vision is depends on the ideal and ambition of the user, if the user's ideals/ambitions correspond with the ones of Morax the vision is Geo, if the ideals/ambitions correspond with the ones of Beelzebul the vision is electro and so on.
Take for an example Jean, her vision seal is Mondstadt her element is Anemo, so it means she's from Mondastadt and her ideals correspond with Venti's( freedom/the fight for freedom)
Or think about similarities between characters with the same element, Hu tao, Bennet, Klee- playfull, ambitious or agitated. Eula, Rosaria, Ganyu- calm, cold, direct or restricted and so on for other characters
Anyway this is my opinion, no reason to be mad.
When Signora was executed by Shogun, the left over effect is still present (when traveller walk out of tenshukaku after defeating signora, paimon mention about air feel heavy), although not as powerful as the mussou gorge possibly because Ei no longer using gnosis to amplify it.
even tho Archon Quest on 2.1 update was rushed.. I still find overview/summary such as this entertaining.. thanks as always can't wait for the part 2
Who else thinks that making the vision of kazuha's friend go dark after it was fulfilled was a missed opportunity?
Not me since for me, vision is like someone heart. So i want his friend to have a rest after fulfilling his aim
the more i found out about her the more i appreciate her. And the less i regret pulling for her
Mt.Yaugou Damage is most likely comes from debris of Yashori island and blast wave itself just like from powerfull explosion, also we dont see other cuts allong the way from initial slash to the Mt.Yaugou so its safe to assume that massive ammount of land mass and water went flying there and did all this damage, this is also explains why we have the same overcharged water at the bottom of the mountain..
It does not belittles the power of slash itself in any way tho, its just shows that miHoYo put a lot of thought in lore and map design and did it with consideration of physics.
The details gave me chills
wait that fan in makoto’s hair is the same as one of the drops in new raiden boss
Man... i like your observation of the lore in Genshin, i didn't even know some of this stuff... thanks and keep going :))
My friend, you gained another subscriber with this video... keep it up! Home page videos are getting better LUL
I think Kazuha's friend's vision got deactivated soon after because one of his main ambitions was to withstand the musou no hitotachi.
there are really good meta theory crafters like tenten and there are really good lore theory crafters that are like catwithbluehat, these people are what make the game more interesting when u have no resin and events to do
Oh my God I never made the connection that Kazuha's friend's vision activated because his ambition was to see if anyone could withstand the Musou no Hitotachi🤯
This just makes our rescue even more meaningful 😭💜
Ahh I learned so many things on tgis video. That vision about Kazuha's friend is so deep
The Kazuha vs Raiden cut scene is the best scene in the entire game so far. Never fails to give me goosebumps.
Lore master strikes again
