Great review, you definitely made some fair points about a lot of the reviews I’ve disagreed with. The complaints about the extra joints are ridiculous because someone else would just complain about him not being posable. The likeness of Keaton is definitely great. People should just appreciate we got an 89 Batmobile AND a Keaton Batman at this level for less than $100. McFarlane did a good job here👍
You never checked or stated if the mask and cowl could be removed to replace the cape with a better movie correct cape.. If so then the cape will be able to hang properly in the front as well as the back..
I wouldn’t go to the trouble of replacing the cape. By the time you do that you may as well buy a more premium version like the Mezco and hope you don’t have issues like some people have had.
The neck is a dealbreaker for me. McFarlane got the Flash Keaton Batman cowl neck right and even gave it head articulation so i don't know what went wrong here in the sculpt.

My guess is whoever designed it thought that was the way to increase the range of movement but clearly didn’t understand that the movement on the neck of a Keaton Batman figure is actually uncanny lol

One step closer for me finally owning a Batman Returns figure. I hope when he makes it, he takes into consideration that we don't want head articulation. But man, I've been waiting since I was a kid to own a Batman Returns Batman figure. My favorite Batman movie next to Dark Knight and Mask of the Phantasm.
Omg and his toes move more than in the movie!? His ankles too?! Omfg and his torso moves more than in the movie?!? His legs could not move like that either!!?? Mcfarlane just totally fukd this all the way up uggghhh. Im so done with Todd. Lol, this set is the best yet, especially with that price in reality. All the crybabies saying they couldnt get one, lmfao, its amazon folks, hello!! The only way your not getting this for 75$ is if you stay off the internet, or if you died a month ago, lmfao. Yes! I totally agree that they didn’t even drive the car. I was so annoyed by that. Such a beautiful car.

This is a fantastic version by Mcfartman. Perfect balance of esthetics of materials, scale quality of engineering and plastics❤😂
The glossy finish on The Flash batmobile looks more like it did in Batman Returns
In my honest opinion, even though it's not perfect, I think Mcfarlane has made the best Batman 89 7" figuore.
Got one for 25$ on a great deal. I really hope the 1989 batwing gets remade.
