This batmobile looks sooo much better than the first release, but it's still not perfect. The canopy isn't shaped right. The windows are still too big and slanted too much. The cockpit windows on the actual car are more narrow and the car looks even more aggressive because of it.
I got a lovely delayed shipping notice from Amazon this morning about this, that's always a great way to start the day. Also, he designed it where you have to stick his ears up inside the raised part of the roof.

The single seat is a bummer. It’s not a huge issue for most people and I totally get that these are “just toys”, but having Keaton stare at that black line down the middle of the windshield just doesn’t work for me 😅
I'm sure others have mentioned it, but Batman v Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was a loving tribute to both, and arguably the best crossover ever. If you haven't seen it, don't walk, run... to whatever streaming platform you can find it.
Still doesn't look anywhere as good as Jada or Hot wheels. I wouldn't call this black, more like dark gray. Unfortunately, I would not be happy with this!

And I would die laughing at all the scalpers trying to make double their money for this bullshit right now. Don’t give in guys. McFarlane will definitely reissue this somehow.
McFarlane really keeps things affordable. 80 bucks for a Batmobile and a ‘89 Batman isn’t bad for 2023. The McFarlane figures generally have good articulation.

The Amazon exclusive was late going live, but I hung around and kept refreshing until it did. It stayed up for a few minutes after I secured one, but I still received an order postponement. Has anyone had their postponed order shipped, or did they eventually just get canceled? Referring to this version and / or the previous one. My guess is that it'll get canceled.
Jazzinc is already making one coming out early next year and I pre-ordered mine already plus they are making the 1995 Batman forever batmobile also which looks incredible. Hot toys is also making the 1/6 scale 1989 batmobile and it's up for pre-order on sideshow collectibles.
I'm not completely blown away by his toys. He's not like the GDL or Toy Anxiety folks with their giant Hot Toys vehicles and Mondo collections. I am blown away that he can afford to live in L.A. and has space for his toys. The toys are probably a few grand a year. A house in L.A. big enough to hold them probably RENTS for two or three times a month what Hatter spends on toys in a year. And you can resell old toys to buy new toys but you never get rent money back. (I guess you do get mortgage money back if you sell but the toys are probably a better investment.)
I don't have it in hand but I do think the color of The Flash Batmobile is pretty cool. I like the shinny finish. The canopy color of course is unforgivable.

Good you are happy with it. I am a bit disappointed, I could really fix the color issue but the main issues which can't be fixed after purchase are the canopy, dimensions, and the nozzle of the jet engine.

The gold rim was never in the movie i think Todd base is on the Hot Wheel 1:18 their a version with gold part on it .And in the Flash movie we see the Batmobile for maybe 5 seconds dont get your hope up !!!
I tried on both occasions and could not snag one yet a jerk on eBay has sold 22 of them. McFarlane needs to do something about the distribution of special figures and vehicles.
Brother, I refuse to purchase anymore Mcfarlane items because of the handling that he did with it, (were to start). Glad you were able to get it but still I will not I don't care if he was the last place to get anything from I still will not be putting any of my money towards him or his company. He did that to himself.
Something about the head makes it look more like Clooney. The Flash Batman figure looks like it has a slightly thicker neck, which helps to give more of the shape of the one piece cowl. The outside, embossed part of the emblem should be black as well and the little vile holder things on the belt need to be moved in slightly closer to the middle.
The Hot toys shell and wheels are spot on shame the interior is a 2 seater but its correct on the outside to what anyone else has been able to do and don't know why unless theyre just going to keep bringing out these gold label updates for trying to fix the inaccuracies! Them wheels though not accurate to the Mickys tyres either

The Van is from Underground Arsenal, 3rd party company. Highly recommended. I have one and it’s awesome. Huge scale! I missed the Batmobile 89 too, I have the grey canopy but I’ll probably paint it.
I let go of my flash version as soon as I ordered this. I dig it a lot more for sure. And the figure is actually better than I was expecting. At the price I think it’s a win. Hope they put them out again for those who missed out.
There was a board game made by IDW they was ninja turtles then they released another with the same rules system for BTAS, so you can interchange turtles and Batman characters in different scenarios.

It’s the same gray canopy on both. The matte spray blends it better but it’s the same car but one has clear matte spray paint over it.

The ears are accurate as they had to use a shorter ear hood for him in the original film to get the canopy closed

My problem with McFarlane figures is they are wildly inconsistent. Some figures are hot garbage while others are amazing. Makes no sense lol

I see your point, but the 89 Batmobile has always had that touch of Grey that makes it pop at night - I’m not sure pictures are doing this justice

Great pick-up. Your right the 89 mezco Batman figure is a much better fit with the new batmobie it's more realistic than the McFarlane figure.
I managed to get one on US Amazon from the UK so fingers crossed with shipping & stuff. But I already have the Medicom Mafex '89 Batman so will be displaying that figure with this Batmobile
