Interesting about the potential for copper from the filter. I’ve noticed a gaseous taste in my water lately but it tested at 000. Is there a way I can check if that’s the issue or should I just replace the filter?
Clearly filtered not available in UK unless you want to import from USA. ZeroWater is readily available, next day delivery on Amazon - but many 1 star reviews about filters lasting 2 weeks, and fishy smells…
I bought One filter with pitcher to try it out and I filter it with carbon bloc filter first. Also, I removed the plastic tank for glasses and inox only.
It states in their own literature that you will notice a citrusy smell/ taste when the cartridge needs replacing. Also to monitor the tds regularly and replace the filter when the reading reaches 006 or above
You can pick any inox/glass bottles (1.5 L) and fill them in a row. The filter has a tiny hole where the water comes down and you simply put the filter at the top of the bottles. 1 filter last more than a month (we are 3 people at home).

Superb in-depth review. Thanks from the UK

I don't think that the gaseous taste has to do with copper leaching. Personally, I would just replace the filter and see if that solves the problem.

Yeah i mostly rely on the filtering speed especially when it's super slow + acide taste= time to change the filter cartridge
Copper pipe is in just about every house built before the year 2000.
Do you know the level of copper that can leach from such pipes?
Do you not mean lead pipe?
@leecromer3289 No, I meant copper pipe. I was assuming @davidwebster3510 mentioned copper pipes because they can also leach copper into the water.
@@boswater6065 And newer houses use PVC ( Plastic ) pipes. I wonder what is worst Copper or Plastic pipes for water quality.
@itsame1742 To be honest, I don't know. Maybe there exists some research on that but I'm not familiar with the topic.
