We joke, but I think this is a very important mark for the preservation of games as a form of art/entertainment. Digital only products are a blight that fade in the wind, and recovering them is a process. Kudos for this.
Digital goods is a necessary evil to help fight climate change bro. We can only hope everything gets documented and archived so that future generations can enjoy old stuff
Its the same story for MMOs, once they are gone, they are gone forever unless someone goes through the painstakingnprocess of reviving the game and running a private server.
@@lukoscreyden Yep that’s why I stopped playing ff 14 and Warframe. Also I bought myself the steam mhw then downloaded a crack and modded it to be playable offline completely 👌
Well this is a pleasant suprise. I didn't even know that there was such a thing as Monster Hunter I, untill I saw you tweet about it. Getting to look at new footage of a lost Monster Hunter game is just wild and super cool, especially for a title this obscure. As for what's in it, seeing healthbars and random encounters in a monster hunter game is super wierd and kinda uncanny. Getting a glimpse at monsters like Monoblos and Rathalos as they looked in this game is really interesting as well, in part due to the graphical limitations of a flipphone.
@@kingkamina4953 It wasn't a dumbass video though. The guy actually had a very good point. However putting MH2 on a pedestal is not something anyone should do. MH2 was a bad game for a reason.
