I also read Percy Jackson as it came out & then re-read it for the first time last year. 10/10 recommend I had such a fun time & it really holds up! The idea to do them all at once (& VLOG?) would be cool.
If you're interested in podcasts, there's a great one going on right now called The Newest Olympian, which follows an adult reading the books for the first time. He's going to be finishing book one this month and it's fun to go chapter by chapter with him as he makes predictions about what's to come!
I read Percy Jackson for the first time a couple of years ago (they were not as popular in my country as in the USA, so I only started reading them when I was already an adult). Because of some health issues it takes me more energy to read English books. So I reread Percy Jackson in December 2021. It helped me so much to get back into reading!! Just a very good series, and easy to read for a non-native English reader.
I added a few of the books you mentioned to my TBR, plus you're the person I discovered the 50% off sale from at the beginning of the month. We ran into town and I bought quite the stack of books, most of them ones I'd thought I'd have to collect slowly instead of all in one go. So, lots of new reading material - thank you!
I put on this video because I was too upset to go to bed after finishing Assassin’s Apprentice for the first time. Thanks for the rec; my heart is broken, can’t wait to keep reading this trilogy tomorrow . Also that collector’s editions is so pretty!
I also read Percy as it was released and reread the series last year for the first time in years! It was such a fun experience and I’m excited to finally complete the other Rick series since teenage me thought they wouldn’t be ANY good without our trio as the focus. 🙈
that is so my type of sweater you are wearing, love it! 😍 book hauls are the best so many amazing titles that pop back up! can't wait to get my hands on some of these! xoxo 😏🤎📚
I got Reckless Girls and Will from BOTM this month. I also have bought Where the Drowned Girls Go, Take Me Home Tonight, The Water Dancer, and Near the Bone. I recently got the illustrated edition of Assassin's Blade, it is gorgeous!
My copy of the Farseer series is in the hardcover illustrated editions and I can verify that they are absolutely beautiful! I've recently picked up Jade Legacy, Bone Shard Emperor, Daughter of the Moon Goddess and No Gods No Monsters by Cadwell Turnbull. Living my best life in 2022 and beefing my book collection beyond reason lol
I recently read The Maid and I finished it in a day. I have horrible ADD so I read like five books at once. It was so good. It wasn’t exactly what I expected in the end but it’s the best book I’ve read in a while. I highly recommend it!
I chose Reckless Girls for my BOTM and I just started it today. it's starting off a bit slow but I like it so far and I can't wait to keep reading! I really want to read Hamnet too
I just received my BOTM box today with Magnolia Palace and The Personal Librarian. I’m excited to start both of them. Matrix sounds good and I’ve added it to my wish list. I couldn’t believe when I heard about that certain half off sale. I was traveling and so I missed out but I’m hoping this may happen again. You’ve got so many wonderful books here! I love buying books in the first months of the year because I usually get gift cards for Christmas to B&N and they burn a hole in my pocket 😊
I read The Percy Jackson books as they came out, too. I read them to my elementary and middle schoolers. I am seriously aging myself. Lol Or family continued reading books aloud as a family well into my kids’ teen years.
I have recently bought The Sword of Kaigen (thanks to you lol), and Fandom Unbound, which is a nonfiction book about Japanese "nerd culture". I am a Japan geek, so I love Japanese inspired fantasy. Sword of Kaigen is a bit different than what I was expecting, but I am only 3 chapters in. Also picked up some manga.
Here you are making me get more books, I love it :) I started reading The Maid today thanks to you and wow it's awesome! Also Florence Pugh is going to star in the movie as the maid, which got the green light recently, can't wait :)
I'm an 11 year old booktuber and Percy Jackson is one of my favorite books ever. I review audiobooks on my channel of course I review Percy and spoiler alert its really good. thanks for posting!
Some books I got recently were Last Days of Summer, All The Light We Cannot See, No Longer Human, The Virgin Suicides, Tender Is The Flesh, The Anomaly, and IQ84! Phenomenal video as always!
I just finished reading #6 and #7 book of The Others series. I heard #8 is gonna be a murder mystery so I am excited! I reread 1-5 books probably three times and it is deffinetly my favorite slow burn I have ever read, the worldbuilding is just so amazing and all of the characters seem so realistic
I’m adding all of these books to my reading list, thanks for sharing! 💫 Keep rising to be who you want to be! 💫 #keeprising #risingtobe #aswerise #riser
I read Percy Jackson in Chinese version during secondary school. It is so good and love Percy Jackson very much. Now I start the series of Throne of Glass. I decided to enter into the journey of SJM books as I discovered about this author and her books yesterday. Regret of reading her books so so late.
I just finished reading Assassin's Apprentice and the illustrations added so much to the story. 😊 Also wanted to ask where you got your earrings that you're wearing in the video? They're so cute and look like the perfect hoop size.
If you want more suggestions to add to your TBR, Dark Rise by C.S. Pacat is stunning. I've read it twice in the span of a month and I'm still reeling. Just... *chef's kiss* 👌 Such a great set-up for the rest of the trilogy, and I can't wait for the second book to release!
Hey Reagan love your channel. Wanted to know how your read through of wheel of time is going? I haven’t seen too many videos on it. I personally loved the series, but slightly disappointed by the show. Have a great one and happy reading.
First of all, i´m currently writing the names of every single one of those books because your taste is flawless. Also, i wanted to say that i got that desire to re read Percy Jackson at the end of 2021, too, and i bought those same editions! I´m loving them so far (again)
i don’t know why but as i watched your video i realized you look like a young amy ryan, you are so pretty!! and do you know if we can buy the books from BOTM without having the subscription? maybe not the same edition since it’s a special one but i really want to read certain books they proposed in the past
Regan or Commenters: Can you give tips on where to buy books? This video mentioned "the used book market" which sounds good. Are there top websites to check out? What about sources for UK versions? I just learned about Book Depository - is that the main source for UK versions? Are there others I should know about? I've recently been drawn into more reading, and I've got a bookcase on the way, so would love to know more than Amazon & B&N and the very hit-or-miss library used book sales shelves for purchases. Thank you!!
I read the Percy Jackson series a few years after they came out and loved them but rereading them as a adult they didn’t hold up as much for me so I’m just going to keep my good memories of them lol!
oo your Percy Jackson box set is like mine, except I got mine from a thrift shop for under $10. The shopkeeper hadn't even shelved it yet and I snapped it up :D
I got a ton of books on eBay...hopefully they are in good condition..where do you buy your used books? If anyone else has suggestions for good places to buy used book I would appreciate any suggestions..Thanks
Velvet Was the Night is a mystery through and through. The ending scenes are a bit thrilling but def NOT a horror. I think you got confused with Mexican Gothic which is a body horror book 😅
Hamnet made my most disappointing read list at number 1 last year. It was so overhyped. I love Hamlet, too. The last two pages had writing that I wished the whole book had.
Velvet Was the Night is neither a thriller nor horror. It is a neo-noir. If you go into it thinking it is a thriller you will be disappointed. It's very slow paced and has a lot of political and historical implications.
I'm about to start Love & Other Disasters and could not be more excited! As a non binary person myself its wonderful to have a non binary main character!
Just so you know, Velvet was the Night has a Spotify playlist to listen to as you read, and it is PURE VIBES!!
I also read Percy Jackson as it came out & then re-read it for the first time last year. 10/10 recommend I had such a fun time & it really holds up! The idea to do them all at once (& VLOG?) would be cool.
I have also been wanting to reread Percy Jackson! The audiobook is amazing
yes! I agree!
I re-read it and it's awesome ❤️❤️
🙂
I’m on the fifth book right now! It’s heart warming to know they’re still just as good as they were when I was in middle school🥰
Id love a video on the books you've read from BOTM. You get a lot of their books
Im pretty sure that every booktuber who's sponsored by them just gets sent them all but i could be wrong.

I picked up the percy jackson box set to reread them during that *certain sale* too! Im so excited for the nostalgia!!

Lauren Groff's MATRIX was one of my top five books of 2021. So good!
I put on this video because I was too upset to go to bed after finishing Assassin’s Apprentice for the first time. Thanks for the rec; my heart is broken, can’t wait to keep reading this trilogy tomorrow .

Black Cake sounds like a book I'd read. Thank you for your recommendations. Nicely video'd!
I just finished Hell of a Book. It was so, so good and well written. I definitely recommend picking it up soon
I am going to have to check out these books. They all sound good to read.
My copy of the Farseer series is in the hardcover illustrated editions and I can verify that they are absolutely beautiful! Matrix is EXCELLENT. One of the best of 2021 for sure.
I’m currently reading Black Cake, it’s soooo good!
The Others series is one of my favorite of all time. So good!
I just received my BOTM box today with Magnolia Palace and The Personal Librarian. I’m excited to start both of them. Matrix sounds good and I’ve added it to my wish list. OMG ANYTHING PERCY JACKSON IS MY CURRENT OBSESSION- IM ON THE HOO SERIES RN-
Yay Percy Jackson! so fun to find other Percy Jackson people!
I ADORE THAT SWEATSHIRT
Here you are making me get more books, I love it :) I started reading The Maid today thanks to you and wow it's awesome! Also Florence Pugh is going to star in the movie as the maid, which got the green light recently, can't wait :)

So many good books! Always love getting new recs from you! 🥰
I preordered Electric Idol by Katee Robert which releases this January - I love her stuff 😍

To me your Percy Jackson timeline reveals your youth rather than your age. Hamnet was incredible. I think you’ll love it.
yay i hope you love Great Circle!
Such an interesting mix! I am curious to see what you think of Hamnet because it's one of my favourites!!
Omfg I adore love and other disasters! Literally my second favorite book ever
I read Percy Jackson in Chinese version during secondary school. It is so good and love Percy Jackson very much. Now I start the series of Throne of Glass. I decided to enter into the journey of SJM books as I discovered about this author and her books yesterday. Regret of reading her books so so late.
Matrix has such a stunning cover! 💜
I just finished reading Assassin's Apprentice and the illustrations added so much to the story. 😊
Also wanted to ask where you got your earrings that you're wearing in the video? They're so cute and look like the perfect hoop size.
Book hauls are so much fun! I was on a book buying ban, but who am I kidding....I allowed myself a little leeway this week. 😄

I'm going to go check after this video, but if you haven't said in a previous video, where did you get your bookshelves? I'm obsessed
Wow that sweater is amazing!!!
Where do you purchase the books with the uk covers??? 🥺
Obsessed with your sweater!
This has probably been asked a million times but where did you get your shelves?
Hi Regan, hello from the UK, I love your videos, great book choices and love the jumper today 😀 x
Same. I got like 20+ books within two days. Save my wallet. What kind of book challenges should I do to get through them?
Lol when you said the Percy Jackson books might age you I crumbled into mummy dust lol I was in college when those books came out and I read them 😭😂
Well that sucks. The maid is want one of my options. I picked “the Magnolia Palace”
First of all, i´m currently writing the names of every single one of those books because your taste is flawless. Also, i wanted to say that i got that desire to re read Percy Jackson at the end of 2021, too, and i bought those same editions! I´m loving them so far (again)
I've been reading Percy Jackson for the first time! I'm halfway through Titan's Curse, and I regret waiting so long to pick them up.
Every Heart a Doorway. Just finished it yesterday. It blew my mind. So fucking creative!
i don’t know why but as i watched your video i realized you look like a young amy ryan, you are so pretty!! and do you know if we can buy the books from BOTM without having the subscription? maybe not the same edition since it’s a special one but i really want to read certain books they proposed in the past
I love a haul!! Thank you for this! Xxxx
A good stack of books. Blessings.
Hamnet is really lovely, a slow but beautiful story
I relly have a question and I need you’re guys opinion if I get a e reader can I still buy physical books or does that defeat the purpose
Regan or Commenters: Can you give tips on where to buy books? This video mentioned "the used book market" which sounds good. Are there top websites to check out? What about sources for UK versions? I read reckless girls last month and it’s SO FUN
You should read the trials of Apollo if you haven’t yet. I used Libby to listen to the audiobooks.
I read the Percy Jackson series a few years after they came out and loved them but rereading them as a adult they didn’t hold up as much for me so I’m just going to keep my good memories of them lol!
would love to see a reading vlog if/when you do reread Percy Jackson!
oo your Percy Jackson box set is like mine, except I got mine from a thrift shop for under $10. The shopkeeper hadn't even shelved it yet and I snapped it up :D
Great circle!!
I bought Beasts and Beauty in the sale too
My Library just bought some Robin Hobb books ! I can't wait to read them.
I got a ton of books on eBay...hopefully they are in good condition..where do you buy your used books? If anyone else has suggestions for good places to buy used book I would appreciate any suggestions..Thanks
Hamnet is amazing 📚

I was just about to sleep, it's 1:30 am where I am right now. why do I do this to myself 😂 but let's goo
How did you go about purchasing the uk version for matrix ?
Love this video! Do you read books or magazines while you’re on the toilet? I look forward to your future uploads!😀
I want to read Great Circle so bad!
Velvet Was the Night is a mystery through and through. The ending scenes are a bit thrilling but def NOT a horror. I think you got confused with Mexican Gothic which is a body horror book 😅
just made it past the halfway point of to paradise by hanya yanagihara and i am eating it up
Where do you find fantastic sales??
It was Barnes and Noble.
where do you get the money, id be broke
What is this certain sale giving 50% off? I've gotta know!
velvet was the night is not really a thriller/horror. It’s more of a noir type story. Slow, atmospheric. You won’t be scared lol
First! So excited to watch :)
Is BOTM box available for shipping in the US only or is it worldwide?
Pretty sure it’s just US :/
you got the maid instead of the magnolia palace? darn lol
Hamnet made my most disappointing read list at number 1 last year. It was so overhyped. I love Hamlet, too. The last two pages had writing that I wished the whole book had.
Reckless girls was my pick
Velvet Was the Night is neither a thriller nor horror. It is a neo-noir. If you go into it thinking it is a thriller you will be disappointed. It's very slow paced and has a lot of political and historical implications.
Even betttttter imo! Thanks for letting me know!
@@PeruseProject Hope you really like it ! I actually learned alot about Mexican history from reading it
Listen New Year, New Me and all....except when it comes to my book buying addiction...she isn't leaving anytime. XD
I surprisingly haven’t bought any books this month 👀 we’ll see after this video haha
I'm about to start Love & Other Disasters and could not be more excited! As a non binary person myself its wonderful to have a non binary main character!
Love that for you!!
Great haul
I only had to wait for The Last Olympian for Percy Jackson, which was awful for 11 year old me because I read the other four in less than a week 😂😂😂
Could you add chapters to your videos please? 🙏
Have you read books by the author Colleen Hoover?! I am in love with her right now
i feel u should review------THE KING'S GRAMMAR
💚🖤📚
I really enjoy your videos but TH-cam keeps randomly unsubscribing me. 😭
