- The saga of this car continues - it has been a year in the making so far, and we aren't very close to the finish line yet. I am excited to see the next steps come together. In this video, the car came back from a full repaint at Apex Wet Werks, then I had Triple J Auto Glass replace some moldings for me, and finally I dropped off the car at Top Shop for new carpet. As a body guy When I see a car in sanded primer like this one was in the shop I think of the many hours it takes to get the prep done to get it to come out perfect.Thus why a good paint job isn't cheap. These guys do a really good job. The outside looks new again! Sure has gone through a transformation! Definitely fortunate to have such great auto professionals there in Phoenix.

Those cars just love those Michelin tires. My dad when he worked for Honda said they came from the factory with the Michelins. Smooth as glass down the road. 😊

Yes NO TINT , it ages the car . And the front bumpers are lined up perfectly. The new seats are amazingly factory 😮. It’s just beautiful 🤩. Nothing will ever look as good as the 90’s luxury cars. So many people desired this car back then and still do.🫠

That generic rear window seal turned out much better than I was imagining. Unless you knew, you'd think it was the factory finish. Car is starting to look great, not too far to go now!

Apex - "What's up with this guy bringing us all these Acuras for?" HAHA. Looking good Tyson and Apex Wet Works did another phenomenal job!
Regarding the window moldings - I would have them removed, then repainted in matte black and reinstalled. Metal moldings > rubber aftermarket moldings.
Very true! Clips were broken / discontinued so we picked this path.

08:16 - I agree!! I like a very light / legal window tint > "dude bro, just make it as dark as possible dude bro" look... Then just buy a car cover or nice window shade when it's outside parked. Nice work again as always!!

Make sure they use aftermarket molding that has a chrome insert already on it. I own an auto glass company and that would look great on this car.

Legends were one of the greatest cars ever built along the SEL series of Benz.
Ludacris has an Acura legend. He can't even find parts for it, yet you've got a fountain of them lol

The car looks absolutely gorgeous - whatever money was required for the body work was absolutely well spent. Seats look fantastic as well. Can’t wait to see the final product! Any mechanical stuff left to do, or is that all sorted now?
It runs and drives perfectly, but I'm planning on doing a few maintenance items just for good measure
