Hi everyone, here is a link to my weekly newsletter, I am adding a PIP section due to the increase in questions/feedback, please feel free to check it out if you are interested: charlieanderson.substack.com/ Thanks EVERYONE for watching and commenting! We will WIN! I send this weekly so its quicker to get updates and I chat about my life that week. Hope this helps as well x
Thanks a lot dear Charlie for your help and kindness. I don't care about the view, what is important, your information. I started the claim. I wish you all the best!
Hey, I really hope it helps. Have you printed off the points? Make sure you really really stick to them... Good luck and please if you can....let us know how it goes Take care Charlie
Hi Charlie, your doing a great job on all this info Truly an ambassador for this cause I myself are looking into this right now( after 12 months of health issues & zero financial support) Id love to be able to chat with you to take some advice and knowledge etc regarding all of this D
I just replied to someone elses comment and they have asked the same as you, so I have sort of cheated and I copied what I wrote to them......as its important (sorry to copy and paste): Hi, my preference would be that you really try and look at the guides and use the free material as I have tried to put everything on line (it bothers me that we have to pay to get help to get funding we are entitled to). I do have a consultancy, if you REALLY need it: calendly.com/charlieisdisablednotdead Of course, I would love to help you and to be able to pay my bills LOL. But please please try and use the free stuff first. For example, have you check the points? Have you watched the PIP Claim Step by Step Guide or the PIP How to WIN? You can also email me quick questions which I will answer for free as well: charlieisdisablednotdead@gmail.com Thanks Charlie P.S If I have my way, the Government will see an INCREASE in the number of PIP claims awarded as there are millions of us suffering but who do not know how the system works. So they are not successful, even though they ARE entitled to the funding. Thanks for commenting about my passion
Thank you for the info! I very clearly stated in my phone assessment (and in writing) that I cannot prepare food for myself, that my sister prepare it everyday, as it’s not safe for me to do so, aswell as being too depressed to even feed myself at all, and they said , they decided that I did not need any help to prepare food, with no explanation other than that statement!
They did the same to me! I hope you are going to do the Mandatory Reconsideration? Do not give up, its an attempt to avoid spend....they hope we give up Good luck Charlie
@@CharliesJourney so sorry to hear they did the same to you :( is there anything you did in particular in your MR (assuming you did one too!) I’m worried I’m just regurgitating the same things I said on the form and interview but in a slightly more detailed way, as ( i think) I included all the main facts the first time, with all the key words/looking at the point system!
Nope. I literally stated the same facts that I: - Including in the claim form - Stated in my assessment I put them in the MR AND stated them when they called me. As they are the TRUTH. So we do end up saying the same things. We have to stand our ground, so please do not worry about that. Its what I do when I help people as well, they are always shocked at how simple it is. If what you have said is your life.....just say it again until they get the hint that you are not giving up. Please try and word it really clearly so they can identify your points Let me know how you do Merry Christmas! xx
When I filled out the pip form I was under the impression you could only have 1 of the a to f questions not that you could have several problems and I sent my form in bk in may I have my phone assessment today I'm not holding my breath that il get it as I don't think I filled in my form correctly. I did serval letters for each conditions on how it effects me daily. I wish I'd of seen ur videos before I sent my form in also was told that if I put that I use aids on the form it goes against me 😢when actually it helps you.
Hi Charlie .Im Filling a pip form out now inhanced one for Daily living Ive had the form so long was meant to send back by 3rdfebbut phoned them o they extended the time .im doing bit by bit so hard with medical problems Fatique and cateracks
Hi Charlie firstly just want to say thank you your channel is invaluable, I'm anxious about this @ because I genuinely can't cook I'm bedbound and can't even reach the kitchen so my family carers do all my cooking and preparing food, will this go against me HELP
Thank you for sharing this, everything you have said is exactly what I'm experiencing. I put in an application for pip and after the telephone assessment they still said no 😩
Hi Charlie love your informative videos I my self am on pipbut lost out on points as like you say was too proud for to say no ah can't eat properly no ah can't toilet shower unaided an was given low rate till November 25 ,M question to you is how do I go about them reviewing it again so this time I can tell the truth many thanks x
During my last face to face assessment, my partner mentioned a couple of things which I hadn't even thought to include in my original claim. I don't cook at all, but can usually manage to make toast or a sandwich while he is at work. The thing he pointed out is that I would only be able to make a sandwich if he had already opened the plastic packaging that the sliced meat comes in, as I don't have the hand strength or dexterity to do that. Another one was making a cup of tea. I have a kettle tipper (invaluable for me) but I can't open a new bottle of milk. If I manage to get the plastic cap off, there is the fiddly seal under that that I can't get off. Because I have had my hand problems for a long time, these are things which are 'normal' for us now (that he opens things in advance) but if he doesn't, then I'm stuck.
I think many can relate to this, what becomes our 'normal' isn't everyone else's 'normal'. It sounds like you have a very supportive partner which is great.
I have been bounced back to 12 points on my last review...I've got another one to fill in this week..I'm scared they are going to bounce me off enhanced now....I told them I had a school friend who drove a taxi .but I'm terrified of going out ..I was on nearly 30 points. They are chiseling away at me ..but by bit. They are evil
Do you drive Charlie,I have MH depression & anxiety as well as arthritis in spine hips, knees & fibromyalgia.Im always exhausted & struggle daily. The dwp have decided to lower my mobility because I can drive but I can barely walk without alot of pain
I have a problem I'm almost 2 months late from tribunal. I did not really have the capacity to think straight never mind fill in forms I'm currently having a tia or mini stroke! And more than likely was at the time!

I am blind in one eye and sight in other eye is not that great so cannot read instructions and use times therefore my wife does all the cooking. The seasonings affects the other eye, how do I word this for pip.
Hey, I did the same.....I could not believe it when I saw the actual points. It makes it so much easier. I spend most of my time talking to people and asking them questions....then they say exactly what you have: I didn't think of that I am really happy that we are all moving forward and make progress on this!
Hi Charlie, I'm currently in the mandatory reconsideration stage. I suffer with dyspraxia, depression & anxiety. I'd like to book in some time with you if possible to review my appeal (I Have written it out) which option should I book on your website ? Thank you

Hi Charlie, I've been on PIP for three years, I have a condition similar to COPD. They have told me I have to have an online interview next week. I filled the form out almost 12 months ago and didn't make a copy of the form. Mostly I wrote no change to my original form. Is there any advise you can give as I have not seen any videos online where people have had an online interview? Thanks. Jan.
Hi Jan, Firstly, LOADS of people are getting these reviews so don't worry. They have NOT singled you out. They have been challenged to reduce the amount of people claiming PIP.....I believe.....which honestly scares the life out of me. Make sure you have a copy of the points, go through the points and check where you are. You need to be REALLY clear with them on your life. Do NOT give them any grey area to remove your funding. Make sure you stand your ground on NO CHANGE. They will ask you loads of questions. Watch as many of my guides as possible as I am getting lots of feedback of people applying my approach and winning or increasing their PIP to Enhanced. If you have any quick questions you can email me at: charlieisdisablednotdead@gmail.com Good luck Charlie
Do you know what, I think that......except I am tad chunky at the min LOL.....for me: weight gain = pain. But I comfort eat....its much easier to grab crap food as you don't have to cook it! But we get a bit chunky LOL
Hi, you ask great questions......I only found it by chance in the TONS of paperwork they sent me....there was a note about Och Health and I rang it by chance as I thought I have nothing to lose. In the New Year, I am going to try and dig it out and do a short video on it as I don't think many people know its there for us
I was lucky my dad went with me for my PIP assessment. I'm autistic and my dad is my representative effectively for everything; I don't even look after my own money.
Ps dont loose your home if its a mortgage , they sre all fraudulent , there are guardians who can help you ,they are all unlawful ... contact if you need more info x
Hi, thanks so much. I am moving out and renting it.....I am going to be moving into a posh shed....I only live in two rooms due to my mobility issues.....it was the only solution I could come up with I think in the shed I will be able to be more independent....I hope lol
