Slicer looks much better than the ER Wheeljack release, the red and blue just pop! The translucent weapons are a good nod to Energon Downshift, overall a good figure!

The blasters are an homage to the Energon Wheeljack weapons. Wasn’t called Wheeljack then but that’s who he was meant to be.

Awesome review PvP! That robot mode exo suit combination admittedly looks kinda... odd loool, but that last vehicle mode combination looks sick! Makes me tempted to get these two but with how expensive Transformers are nowadays, I gotta save the costs and only go for those figures that I am really after...

Was a little confused seeing Slicer fighting SG Prime at the beginning, since Slicer is actually allied with the SG Autobots

@@afanofstuff9123 But that's the thing. Slicer and SG Wheeljack are the same guy. Slicer is just an alias Wheeljack took in order to infiltrate the Decepticon ranks.

@@hypaavos3554 That's the beauty of this figure. It can be both the G1 Decepticon and the SG Autobot.
The Decepticon symbol is pink for a reason. It's the same shade of pink the Action Master had.
Yeah... The idea of using FastTrack as Slicer's buggy was kinda normaltrash if maybe well intended.
Altough the fact that we now have to pay double to get our hands on Slicer (who as a redeco of Wheeljack was the least possible effort Hasbro had to make to release a late G1 character and they still decided to give us grief for getting him) is more than probably the real reason he was included.
Reusing weaponizers as Action Master partners is such a brilliant idea
Hey Prime just so you know if you're interested in collecting them slicer as well as several other classic characters in both their original and their shattered glass designs we're just announced to be promo cards in the next Magic the Gathering set. So you can collect a small piece of crossover history and get playable magic cards for Transformers
I'm definitely pre ordering this guy. I own the Kingdom Wheeljack and this is a massive improvement.
Just got mine yesterday and my god this is the best shattered glass figure to get
Slicer and Exo-suit, both of them are very fun to play, i love it 😁. I can create my own figuration for each mode 😊. I think 💬, your figuration for Slicer and Exo-suit is pretty decent 👍😊.
I think this Wheeljack mold is better than the previous one.
The extra weapons that came with RED COG would be perfect to use with these configurations on Wheeljack and Fasttrack.
the two weapons is the same and based in Energon/superlink Downshift (wheeljack in japan) and i hope in the relaunching from earthrise wheeljack give with this weapons

In the Stream when they revealed him Slicer also had a Steering Wheel thing for his Buggy but I dont remember what pieces it was made of(I think one of them was the knife-thing but I'm not sure)

It looks cool, but the high after market prices of SG Prime prevents me from buying into this line. A pity they won't reissue him. I had no idea what looked like a one and done selects release would be turn into a long line of figures.
The colour combo looks like something a 5yr old would conjure up.... kinda like it. Maybe I'll pick them up if they go on clearance.

Why do you keep saying "MechTech" for the 5mm ports? MechTech hasn't been a thing since 2011 and the DotM Toyline. If anything, Siege made them "C.O.M.B.A.T." Ports.
Personally I think Mech tech port is a much better name than calling them 5MM ports but I guess not everyone would agree :(

My wishlist for future Transformers figures:
Buzzworthy Bumblebee N.E.S.T. Barricade - A N.E.S.T. disguise redeco of Studio Series Barricade.
Legacy Dinobots - While I'm ok with Slug and Sludge forming Volcanicus' torso instead of Grimlock for one of their places, I hope he and Snarl form the legs just like G1 Devastator with Scrapper and Mixmaster, and Swoop and even a new toy of Prime Wars Trilogy character Slash forming the arms.
Generations Selects Stunticons - Toy accurate redecos of the Legacy Stunticons, although Dead End might be better off retooled with a G1 toy/Combiner Wars accurate head.
Collaborative Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader - I'm not sure if Collaborative Anakin Skywalker will be a triple changer with his and his Darth Vader identity's respective ships, but either way, he'll have interchangeable heads consisting of his Jedi heads, his Darth Vader helmet, and both of his bald looks, along with his red and blue lightsabers.
Netflix Soundwave - While I'm ok if G1 Soundwave's Netflix toy never comes back in his coloration in regular retail (not being an exclusive, that is), I wonder what it's like if Hasbro released him as a Walmart exclusive again for Legacy.
LEGO Megatron - A LEGO Creator Expert model of Megatron, while mostly accurate to his appearance in the G1 cartoon and can transform like LEGO Optimus Prime, he still turns into a tank like the Earthrise figure, including having the tank barrel turning into either his G1 cartoon gun barrel or an arm mounted blade (most likely the former, however). His other accessories include his Energon Mace, an Energon cube, and the energy sword and blaster he used to attack Optimus Prime with in the G1 movie, the former of which can also be used as a blast effect for the latter.
I prefer to use it as a shattered glass slicer as its advertised, rather than Slicer from g1 so its a bit annoying it didnt come with an autobot logo.
I do enjoy that new colour scheme

However, the price is way too high. Don't know what the USA price is, but locally I'm looking at almost 70 euro or $ 70 which is too much for this set. But I already bought Wheeljack for the purpose of making my own Slicer.

Action Master Wheeljack had a redeco in Europe as Decepticon Slice, who did have a Buggy that converted into an Exo-Suit. TFWiki can tell you more.

SG Wheeljack uses action master Slice's colour scheme, so whoever design this toy had the "genius" (aka stupid) idea to give him a Decepticon symbol so he can fit into a normal universe collection as Slice(r). In the new SG comics Wheeljack goes by the name Slicer, but in those comics he's still an Autobot!
It's a similar scenario to SG Flamewar, who looks exactly like normal Flamewar just so that it can also be sold as a regular Flamewar. Its a major missed opportunity because SG Flamewar could have had such an interesting colour scheme if she had blue flames or something rather than looking like the original.

Why break your neck in making an Exo Suit or goofy weapons. I'm just going to make him a Black Zarak minion since I missed out on that previous one. While Slicer will be a Black Convoy team member along with Bug Bite.

It's so you can ignore the whole Shattered Glass aspect of the figure and just use him as G1 Slice instead, (hence why the Decepticon logo is pink like Flamewar's and not red like the other SG cons). I'm gonna get some Evil Autobot stickers from Toyhax and just have him as Wheeljack as he should be.

The Shattered Glass counterpart of Wheeljack uses the Slicer design so this figure is being both at the same time.
