Hi CEONTHEMAKING, have you heard about the firmware update 5B58 affecting anc on the AirPods pro 2? have you experienced this and if so make a video about this? it's been catching buzz over the past couple weeks, just kindly figured it would be cool to hear your take on this matter.
I have used various premium wireless earphones, but honestly, JBL LIVE PRO2 is the most satisfying for the price.

@@Uppermanhattan any Bluetooth range issues? I just got mine today and I can’t get more than 30ft away from my phone before it starts to break up. I’m super bummed about it. The sound and fit are amazing. But if I can’t get 30ft away from my phone they gotta go back.

I have both. I do like the squeeze controls a bit better. Both are good though. The biggest place that hurts the air pods pro 2 is the lack of an eq. Sound quality the jbl completely blows away the air pods pro2. I do believe that if the air pods pro 2 would be close though with an eq. I mow 3 acres and both stay in well with minimal adjusting. For reference last year I used Jabra 75t. They sounded great and am very happy with them but both the airpod pro 2 and jbl live pro2 sound similar and are comfortable for longer and less adjusting. My mowing is about 3.5 hrs at a time. All 3 and works well on cutting out much of the tractor engine sound.

Great review. I would've passed on the JBL if not for reviews like these. I like these buds a lot. The call quality it great and so is the ANC. I have small ears canals, and these buds are my most comfortable pair. I've brought quite a few this year: the Soundcore Space A40s, the comfobuds mini, the Earfun Air Pro 2, etc. The JBL are my go-to for everyday and the comfo mini for sleeping.

Ya, I have the space a40s and I am finding that I have to readjust them a lot and they are not very comfortable. I ordered the JBLs and am going to try them to see if I like them better. Plus the a40 bass is seriously liking for my taste

Super envy that live pro2 costs $75 in the US. It's around $177 here. Would buy it right away with no hesitation if it's $75 here as well 😔😔😔😔

Can I recommend rolling down the window or turning on the radio when testing the call quality to see how well it blocks back ground noice. Do one test with window up and one with it down. Otherwise stellar review

I’m pretty stoked about those JBLs. As an iPhone user I know I’ll be missing out on a few bells and whistles but price-wise I just ordered a pair for 75$ and I can’t beat that with that a stick.

My nephew loves my jbl2. His pods were stolen let him hold jbl2 he claims they sound better than pods he's really enjoying the multi point connecting TV & phone its been 3 months now I'm sure he'll give them back. Any day now

Thanks for the review much appreciated. I have the JBL'S and I love them my take on this is the price 75$ for the Live Pro2 or 229$ for the Airpods Pro2. I think if you have an iPhone it's worth the price point but not for Android. 🤔👍💯🇺🇸

How is it worth the extra if you have an iPhone? The only extra thing an apple earbud provide is an animation when you open the case. They both connect automatically so there is barely a difference

Thank you so much for this video. I was aiming to get JBL live pro 2 but when watching this video I am more interested in Airpod as ANC is the most important feature I am looking for for my earbuds.
I’ve had the JBL Live Pro 2 for over a year. While working out the buds make mistake gesture changes and change audio modes or playback. They also do tend to slide out when working out hard. I’m considering getting the AirPods. Outside of this the JBLs have been great.
The airpods will come out easily as well. You need earbuds with wings on them. But there's really nothing good out there that'll stay put that has the level of features and quality like the airpods, Galaxy Buds or JBL's
@@RobertNES816 I actually have had the AirPods for a while now and I’m really enjoying them. They isolate better than I expected and stay in better than expected. Definitely the best part is how well they pause themselves and integrate with my other Apple products. I never wanted to be this married to Apple but they’ve got a good system going.

The JBL Live Pro 2 are easily the best out there for the price. They're so well rounded for the price, they just do everything so well.
the only issue I have with the JBL's are that when listening with another person they seem to pause at random moments. It may be due to their ear size but it's quite annoying how sensitive the buds are. That being said though, I have been using these since Christmas and absolutely adore them and would recommend you buy them! amazing bass btw, these things have a frequency response of 20hz-20khz

Hi CEONTHEMAKING, very appreciate this video! Question: The Hiss when these two have ANC on? Which one has less hissing, could you tell ? I almost think the Airpods pro 2 are worse (higher frequency Hiss), tried both for 1 week, but not next to each other. The fit on both ist very comfortable, but almost impossible to reach a good seal on both, only very superficialy sealing.

Honestly dont buy it i brought 2 of those and both have issues where it randomly cuts out am currently searching for a alternative to the live pros kinda sad becuse the have good noise canceling plus good ambient aware but this issue is just a fatal flaw and even if the earbuds would cost 50 euros i woudnt recommend them

All about Sound Quality..all the other stuff/Junk is not what I'm for. I want them to listen to music/movies/YT etc...and can make calls or listen to outside noises when I take them out. And for twice the price for airpods...ah, No.

Liberty 4 has a better soundstage! Wider, more open sound. The instruments separation is better. In terms of bass (if you are a bass head) the JBL are better, but it’s not a big difference. Overall i prefer the liberty 4 ;)
Could you please? I just got the JBL this week. Idk if they're the best fit for my ears. I'm thinking about returning them and trying the Liberty 4... don't want to pay full retail though.
@@S7filmz sound is different for everyone. Some prefer jbl some prefer souncore. You must listen to those earbuds and make your decision on what you prefer.

Live Pro 2 are really good & the sale price is a steal. The Live Free 2 are just as good if you don’t want stems. They’re actually slightly louder at Max volume as well plus really comfortable/compact

Would you recommend the JBL live pro 2 or the Beats Studio Buds for an iPhons user? I saw a couple of people say the JBL Live Pro 2 randomly pauses and resumes or disconnects, is that true?
I have experienced connection issues on some other JBL buds in the past. but so far not with the live pro 2. They're still $75 on Amazon, I say give them a shot for that price
I'm an iPhone user and oftentimes I get pause and resume issue with my JBL LP2. It's kinda frustating cause it happens to every music I play, and even when I watch movies 😤

I got the JBL Live Pro+ and got a lot of issues with connection and like you saying that it disconnect without reason .. Now also another problem, the left earbud does make a peep sound if the volume is too high

Tricky. The mic test in the car sounded better to me with the AirPods. And ANC is better. More base isn't something I need with the JBL (I missed if you're using Apple music or another streaming service? I switched from Spotify to Apple music on my android phone - they're the same price but Apple music is amazingly better than Spotify on my IEMs and wireless headphones).
Fit looks better on the AirPods. And from other comments it seems like the AirPods are better for abrupt screeching sounds like on the London underground.
And the tracking for the case seems like a handy feature.
However, there's a big difference in price. The Sony linkbud S are the same price as the jbl's (£120 atm) and I found the Sony link bud s very very comfortable.
I'm a long time android user but am switching my main sim to an iPhone. So the airpods seemed the obvious choice.

Bought the JBL Live Pro 2: Very good sound output. Nice mic for calls. But the mic does not work on any other device or app, besides calls. Tried whatsapp, instagram, sound recorder and several other. I tried on 3 different phones (different brands even...), also tried on 2 different PC's and no sound detected from the mic. And yes, I went to setting and selected the JBL live mic as main mic and nothing. I returned that first pair, got a new one and exactly the same issue. So yeah, JBL Live Pro 2 appears to be an excellent earbuds, but why have 6 mics if they don't work? I returned the second pair and got my money back...

@@adrianfarcas2063 UPDATE, I searched more about this issue, and it appears that android does not allow sound to be recorded via any other mic other than the smartphone. Any bluetooth device is not allowed to record sound (a part from standard calls). If you have a set of BT earphones ou headphones you can try it. Just record an audio from some meters from the phone and evaluate if there was any sound recorded from the headphones/earphones.

I purchased the JBL Live Pro 2 ear buds. I work in an office environment and really liked the idea of having them paired to my PC and phone. However, the background noise of the office (typing on a keyboard, moving my mouse, and people talking in the office next to me) are extremely loud to the person on the other end of the call. I am told the sound closer to them than I am when I speak.
What about noise canceling? Doesn’t it work?

as a dj, i use mac, ipad, apple watch and iphone pro 14 max but when it comes to sound, i always go jbl, apple just cant match the sound quality yet, apple should of bought harman kardon but samsung beat them to it

Hi mate thanks for the review, but I would like to counter your views on airpods pro 2 being a better fit for workouts than a jbl live pro 2! I have used my cousins airpods pro 2 while running and found them to slipping out of my ears more often than I had anticipated( I have used it over five days). I guess anc is only slightly better in airpods pro 2 and the sound quality is better in airpods pro 2. However, having said that, jbl live pro 2 is a darn vfm product and am pretty impressed with what it offers. Unfortunately, since I already picked up jabra elite 4 active for running, i went ahead and purchased the sennheiser momentum 3 for my general usage. Bottom line: while I like the jabra active 4, I erred in my judgement in not picking up the jbl live pro 2 for my running as I strongly believe them to have a more livelier sound and the fit is super good in the ears.

Soundcore liberty air pro 2 vs. Jbl live pro 2?
I mean airpods pro 2 is double the price of the jbl live pro 2 and with those drifferences ion think it's worth paying twice as much
The Bluetooth connection on mine has been very sketchy. Major dropouts with my Sony Android smart TV and my iPhone. My Bose never drop out but only have a 2.5 hour battery life.
How have they been working since this comment?
@@israelruelas5756 There's a setting in the JBL app called Smart Audio And Video. When I turned that to video it helped with the dropouts (but not totally) and fixed the delay/latency issue with the TV.
JBL Live Pro 2 had better ANC in the car test.
do hey google work hands free? i work on cars and my hands get dirty, so i need to be able to control things without touching the earbuds... i have the google pixel buds a and love how the hey google work on them but don't really like the fit in my ear

What would say for the sound quality, if you compare soundcore liberty 3 pro and jbl live pro 2? I am a metalhead and a hard rock fan, so I need good instrument seperation, good bass and mids, but also treble :)

I have over 30 earbuds and i can tell you that if you want all those things that you want, the best is sennheiser momemtum 3!!! They are on sale now (50$ rebate). Don’t hesitate sir! They are the best that i own right now with the B&O EQ (but the volume is too low for me).
The sennheisers are a great recommendation. Otherwise I'd say give the JBL a shot, especially since they're $75 right now
@@CEONTHEMAKING definitely!!! Honestly, the JBL impressed me a lot with the bass and the energic sound. In Quebec city (Canada) they are 129$ right now, so it’s a « must try ». It will hard to beat the performance of the JBl at this price :)

From soundcore, go with the liberty 3 pro, excellent bass (very punchy, hits hard), very good treble, it’s like a v shape sound. But you can eq them at your taste, with a 8 band eq. From Soundcore i think it’s the best choice in earbuds. And let me tell you that those one are very hard to beat.
You have the sennheiser momemtum 3: the best in my opinion for the price.
And for a third pick i would choose the one more evo: solid choice !!
Finally.. the Rock has come back to… joking 🙃
Finally, if you want the best ANC product on the market, go with the bose qcii. I tested earbuds and headphones on my lawnmower truck and let me tell you this: with the bose, i only hear my music. With all other earbuds and headphones, i hear my lawnmower truck. Sony xm5 headphones over the ear are close but not as strong as the bose earbuds.

Oh i forgot to mention: there is better earbuds for sound quality. I ranked them in « olympic tier » 😂 there is a class apart. But, with performance, comes higher price. Like the B&O EX: the sound is phenomenal !!! PHENOMENAL!! But, they lack in bass (a lot). You have in second place, B&O EQ: they sound PHENOMENAL too, solidddd bass, warm sound, but, they lack in volume (a lot) (volume is too low)… oh by the way people, i speak french, so i try my best to explain to you in english.
Finally, if you are an audiophile you have the Grado gt220: the best sounding on the market (the bass kick so hard haha). But no possibility to eq them, so if you don’t like the sound, you’re stuck with it.
In conclusion, i listen to MANY audio channel, i let me tell you this: this channel is awesome ! Ceon always give excellent advice! He explain very well and he is FAIR ! It’s so important in audio :) i often bought earbuds based on Ceon advices, so you can trust him.

@@MrR4ge89 i agree. I got mine just yesterday and they’re decent. The ANC isn’t as good as my sony WF 1000XM4’s (price range) but does then job. Equaliser is best at bass and tweaking from there.
Earbuds dont hurt like the Sony’s and dont fall out. Mic quality is good both on calls and on Teams for work. Worth it if you can get it on discount / sale
