We had a similar experience recently where my nieces and nephew wasn’t allowed to visit with my kids. It was like requesting permission to visit at a prison. That silly policy will certainly lead to business failure. We will never stay there again and neither will we recommend it to anyone else.
I’m really sorry to hear about your experience. Policies that disrupt family time can be so frustrating, especially when all you want is to enjoy time together. Thank you for sharing your experience
So I listened to your video and I kind of felt like others did that you were complaining about your brother not being allowed. We booked this hotel and it was probably one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in and I don't think my expectations are high. There was no water pressure, our air conditioner didn't work, our TV didn't work. There was one lock on the door and the second lock was broken off. We did not even have a washcloth for the restroom. I understood it was a transit hotel so my expectations are not high but when I had bugs in my bed and I am saying multiple bugs and not bed bugs bugs in my bed that was the last straw. The front desk is lovely and their service is great, the shuttle is amazing and the location is great but I want to feel safe and clean where I'm staying and I would never tell anyone to stay here if they want to feel safe and clean.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m so sorry to hear about the issues you faced during your stay. I can completely understand why you’d feel that way - a clean and safe environment is essential, and bugs in the bed and broken amenities are certainly unacceptable. Hopefully, these points help the hotel improve because they do have some great staff and a convenient location, as you mentioned. Thanks again for your honest feedback!"
Tokatoka is owned by Warwick Hotels now, management have changed. The good old Tokatoka before the change did not have this problems, we always had family outside join, celebrate birthdays, swim.etc.. Just a little heads up that this isnt like Tokatoka 2010 to 2016
The video would give a wake up call to the owners means someone out there is not doing there job, line managers should be heldresponsible I believe gmsis not receiving timely feedback from his team wake-up oryou will loose all your returnees looseyourreturneed
Raffles Gateaway which is next door is much much better then Tokatoka. If you bpol at Tokatoka please don't have any expectations and you'll be disappointed. I'll rather stay at Airport Ace Hotel which is cheaper then Tokatoka. Tokatoka is run down and the worst
Fiji Hotels are a rip-off. These Overseas based Hotel companies raise the rates to be in competition with the Australia and U.S. rates, yet provide a below average standard. I feel sorry for the staff who are on the frontline to deal with unsatisfied customers. Plus these staff still collect an average Fiji wage in comparison to Australia and U.S. hotel workers.
Bro it's the hotel or the Resort owner to put up what ever rules and regulations upon his or her hotel or resort so if you paying for 2 people in a room then only 2 people is allowed no questions asked what so ever...It's Thier POLICY....
Being conservative my missus had a tea shirt on whilst swimming in the pool. She was asked to remove herself and have proper swimming attire like white folks.
This is a good warning to all travelers
Very true Same thing happened to us..
Visitors were not allowed.
Worst dark rooms

I feel sorry for you mate. It's sad to learn our local resorts treat our own locals like this. Really sad.
