As a Jamaican living in St. Catharine, around 1am this morning is when the rain started in my community, we had heavy winds as the evening went on but it has not let up since the rain started, indeed this hurricane is early in season and one of the worst we've seen for years but please continue to pray for us to make it through as safe as we can be. I think most of us have done our best in terms of preparation for the impending disaster, however, as in all things, it's still an ultimate matter of faith and trust in God that all will go well.
