Why do news programs insist on showing a reporter blowing in the wind?!
For views and exaggerations!
LOL,I love double entendre's.
That is not Jamaica where he is doing the hurricane dance 🤣
This guy's performance was epic!!!😂
Lol..I just wrote almost the exact same thing..lol.
This type of live reporting is totally unnecessary.
😆 🤣 😂
Dumb as well.
How would you get people to get worried about climate change, and scare them into submitting qualities of their life in order to “Save the climate”? Live action baby
That was not live reporting. It was all lie reporting
I like it 😂
That guy should be an Oscar nominee
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Must be a prank. Just look at the trees behind him 😂😂😂😂
Jamaica got lucky, eye stayed off in the ocean. That minimized damage. That's the only positive thing.
They always do this.😂
I was waiting for the passersby walking calmly behind him.
No reporter should be out in this weather!
powellp25
That's what real journalism looks like. CNN viewers aren't used to that.
It's fun to do and gets more views.
@@TheNewsInASLyou really fell for this hack job. Wow! 😂
How would watchers know what weather is without it?😂
I live in Jamaica he is Exaggerating the win was not doing him like that
Bro, you forgot to tell the cameraman to shake the camera while filming.
Yeah, right?!! Because the cameraman is in the news van.
😂😂😂😂 #1 comment
@@yolandahebert2350I was wondering why the camera wasn't shaking
🤣🤣🤣exactly
Man the icing on the cake should've been someone just walking by or riding a bike
😂😂😂😂
That actually happened once to a hysterical Irish storm reporter. I never laughed so hard in my life.
9 9 o.o 9
Yep it’s happened several times before🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂❤
That reporter was so ridiculous.😅😂
So true 😂😂😂😂
No he wasn't the storm was blowing at hundreds of miles an hour, the reporter was incredibly strong considering the incredible danger.
@@Negan-lo7yrwhat does that have to do with the alley behind the CNN studio?
Ok then you should go try standing in the middle of one
@@westcoastbred7745 and that would also be ridiculous. Even if you're there reporting, that doesn't mean you need to be outside doing all that nonsense.
Love how He dances all around in the wind while the cameraman shoots the video nice and steady.
So tired of silly antics of weather reporters.
I’d like to see you go outside and stand in near 75-100mph winds and not get blow around 😂😂 I swear you people sound stupid. Typing all that nonsense.
Why do these "reporters" always do this? There's no reason to stand in the storm and jump around
I'm in Montego Bay, at a resort. The staff here at Iberostar couldn't be more caring and kind! (Bad timing for a trip planned long ago) I'm so impressed by how prepared they were for it!
Dramatic reporter should get nominee
Beryl got her visa, she’s really traveling
Right. She's legit going everywhere.
She’s island hopping,mon
I love how PALMTREES may bend and sway slightly but you rarely will you see them break. Amazing!!
Blessed morning to you my sister, God would love our lives to project a life just as the palm tree, thanks for prayer, as we continually trust God and keep it moving ❤😂🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼👀🫵🫶💪🌺💐🪻
@@veronwatkis2501 Amen Sis! My prayers are with those affected by this storm. Love the scripture about the trees planted by water. We shall not be moved.🙏🏾❤️
True! THE amazing GOD! ✝️🙏🏽
@@melliemel32 Yes and Amen!🙌
OK me fellow Jamaicans. I anticipated the new "Foreign Weather man dance".....with some wicked lyrics enuh.
From 0:42 to 1:01 reporter deserves an Oscar.
😂😅👍🏽
He’s trying to get promoted to work inside the office
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hearts out to jamaica I have special people there❤🙏🏾
Reminds me of the weather channel clip where the two guys walked behind the reporter being blown away. Typical CNN though. Overexaggerates everything.
These poses along with the hunched over meteorologists at the weather map. Needs to stop. "Bearing down" "Slams" "Rams" "Roars" etc. Stop.
I agree wholeheartedly! I live in central florida & every year it's the same fear prop a ganda. Everyone panic buys, & then the storm either goes elsewhere or, it's nowhere near as had as they'd made it out to be. When I was a child, hurricanes were just a fact of life. Now it's a major part of our economy.. disgusting.
😂😂😂😂😅
Why do these news station insist on putting a reporter out in a Hurricane to report? It is dangerous and I don’t enjoy the theatrics at all. Just give us a report.
Obviously he was by the water and yes it's not him being dramatic, he is gonna get that wind trying to pick him off the ground. It's the norm for reporters to be in hurricane wind reporting, it's their job and it comes with the territory.
Reporters are paid to make situations look and sound worst than they actually are.
Exactly
I remember the CNN report of the "flood" where the reporter was up to his waist in water, but there were people walking past in knee high water behind him🤣 he was squatting down to make the water look deeper.
Reporting from Kingston Jamaica: we’re fine. No major damage…I was expecting it to be much worse. Nothing close to Gilbert in 1988
The Most High Yehweh is good🙏🏽
This is one of the reasons i stopped watching CNN and mainstream Western media. What a performance! Nothing like what's reported here happened. We didn't get a direct hit, Thank the Lord!
EXACTLY 😂.. no sah
Southside did.. St. Elizabeth and Manchester were hit bad.
Two somebody died, it depends where you are, st Elizabeth took a battering
@@stephaneygordoncowan505south side it was said b4 would get the hardest hit where am at not even a roof blow off
@moniho6907 and one of the deaths, is a man stupidly chasing a ball into running water
These antiquated News people
Dramatic is more like it. They are too Dramatic
The camera man must be in a different storm.
😂😂😂😭😭
What the hell is wrong with that reporter. He was doing the squat dance. Reminds me of guy on cnn who said is was hard to walk and then camera pans to people just strolling by like a normal day..
😂😂😂😂. Yes indeed I remember. Lol
That reporter had on pants and jacket that caught the wind. Do you not know how the wind works and how strong it is? The other people had on shorts. Have you never seen wind blow one beach umbrella across the sand?
@@jennapitts8373 yeah and I’ve seen fake news . Get ur eyes checked Hillary
That dude could of stood straight up. Seen thunderstorms worse than that in FL. Guy is a total actor!
Y’all never seen a hurricane ?
Last one I was alive for that’s close to it’s strength I was too young to care
Praying 🙏 for my family back home
Dude was capping. I’m from Jamaica
Would be nice if they talked to people whose homes and livelihoods have been destroyed rather than tourists at expensive resorts who are going to be priority while the local people are forgotten.
Where am at not one house roof blow off maybe different places, American house Make weaker
As a kid growing up in south Louisiana this was perfectly normal. Had em all the time. Several every year
He looks like he’s been holding his pee for a really long time.
That reporter must really love his job for him to be out in that storm.
😂. He added some extra stink to the scene. The theatrics were 😂😂😂😂😂
I will never understand weather reporter, WHY DO THEY HAVE TO STAND IN THE RAIN?
I absolutely despise people like this guy. He’s not doing a public service or telling the truth in anyway. He’s intentionally putting all the attention on himself by acting that way and lying about the actual strength of the conditions in that moment so that CNN can rope viewers in or keep the ones they have from leaving all to make more money. It’s not about human life it’s about greed. It goes to show that if these msm people are willing to distort the truth over this they’re willing to do so about anything. And they do. Which is why no matter what these talking heads are trying to tell you they simply have no credibility and should never be trusted.
as director i wouldve had the camera guy go handheld to give the live report more believability and more action
Oh wow. Grand Cayman, wow my little Island Cayman. I pray.
We are safe for now. Low lying areas likely flooded as June had lots of rain and it has been windy and raining since 2am (around 8am now).
Grand...little?
@@dubsounds Grand Cayman is the largest of three small islands which form the Cayman Islands (76 square miles). The other 2 are Cayman Brac (14 square miles) and Little Cayman (10 square miles).
Wait! It’s windy and rainy in a hurricane? WOW who knew?
Honestly why do they force these people to stand outside in a hurricane 💀
Here we go again. The weather channels always look for drama in hurricane stories by sending their morons to stand outside during one in their reporting. Not the brightest bulbs in the room.
This guy should NOT be outside. Thanks for the report but your life isn't worth it, man. *Debris flying everywhere* continues to stand outside 😓
Lol. He was adding extra dramatics on his reporting. Making it appear much worse than it was.
We all know what hurricane winds look like when people are out in them. We've seen it over and over and over again. Please stop putting young reporters in dangerous situations to show us what we already know.
👏👏👏
Condolences to any people in Jamaica affected by this severe weather.
The cameraman seems to be ok 😂😂
I think Jamaica should sue this storm
It's not the states lol
he's doing the hurricane dance
Hang in there my fellow Jamaicans, please stay safe. ❤
You are just as Fking bad talking bout "hang in there". There is NOTHING to "hang in there" about. Yall like FAKE NEWS.
Jamaicans know that Jamaicans are OUTSIDE during hurricanes. We like the excitement, Kingston and Bay are not affected by hurricanes like that.
Why these reporters NEVER go to Portland and st thomas???
FOR DRAMA. This is FAKENEWS. JAMAICA 🇯🇲 has 14 parishes, most hurricanes only affect 4 parishes. The international reporters NEVER go to Portland, St. Thomas, etc. And 4 parishes gets flooded even when its not hurricane.
TH-cam channel "esther campbell" shows how ppl and police were all OUTSIDE during Beryl in Trench Town.
Exactly which part of Kingston was this reporter reporting from?
I saw a weather report where the guy acted like this and then several people walked by normally.😂
Him wah si piece a zinc a fly pass 😂😂him would a si something more interesting fi report😮😮😅😅😅😅😅
Would have loved to see Romo try to stand in the winds here in SW Florida during Hurricane Ian. Dude would have landed in Cuba. We topped 208 mph.
Lol The news reporter hopping to the side in the wind is about as bad as it got in Jamaica.
Yes, videos are coming in showing there were very minimal damages.
My niece is in Montego Bay with her family on vacation. Lots of flooding. They cannot fly out until Sunday.
Think of it this way, you’re basically in one big wind tunnel with addition to the rain and the high waves all around you.
My gosh that very hard for that reporter to be in such bad weather it's very unsafe for him
I was waiting for the group of people to casually stroll by lol....
Unable to make contacts with my family in Jamaica (Little London, Orange Hill Westmoreland). I pray they are all good 😭😭😭😭😭😭
The storm wasn’t bad. They are okay. Prolly light gone or sumn. Couple pole drop down.
@@ablemedia8763 Thanks
@@ablemedia8763 I saw online that Digicel Network is down
St Elizabeth is NOT okay...I know that is close to Westmoreland
They're probably OK. Power and cell service is out for most people.
If you have never been in wind like that you have no idea how powerful it is..but the scariest is the storm surge by far…been through 2 cat 4 hurricane eye walls..it’s devastating and traumatic to experience, the pain and suffering it causes communities..
Who cares?
That's why he could have safely reported the same story from a building.
Ocho Rios is on the North Coast of Jamaica so this guy is perfectly fine at Sandals. The South Coast is a different story.
That was absolutely what l was thinking. That guest he was asking all those questions is perfectly fine at Sandals .
Prayers for all.
They better be paying that guy good money to be risking his life like that . Thank you Mr CNN man. Stay safe
😂😂😂 lol yuh si da reporter dey 😂
He's perfect for the job, he's so dramatic and I love it 😅
Welcome to Jamaica
They should never have these reporters directly out there.
This😂had me laughing.Him standing in the hurricane reporting .How smart😅😅😅😢😂❤
Everytime the wind blew I really thought he may go flying.. his clothes was ready to leave his body tho😮
The cameraperson holding a 20 pound camera is more steady than the reporter holding a 3 pound microphone.
Give this man a raise 😂
Oh wow. He's lucky not to be blown away!
Airport should be open by Wednesday. Maybe not for people cargo planes first.
which airport? where you got your shitty info from?
Nice playacting, Rafael Romo!
Need to put a tip on that map with a black sharpie
Shout out to Rafael ,I was inside the whole time and all I heard was the breeze howling. I heard that I said no sir I will be staying inside and you got Rafael really trying to break the story. We don’t give reporters enough credit
Why is he standing in the rain? He's a grown adult for crying out loud
Every weather reporter always wanted to do that shot
Did they stitch together multiple stories
WOW!!!...look at that guy reporting on hurricane force winds by standing in it....that's never been tried before.
Those winds roared like a lion...
Who said the man was stranded? We've only had reports of 2 deaths and those 2 were because they did things they shouldn't have. There are trees down, people have lost some or in other cases all their roof, but for the most part we're ok. Still no water or electricity in the island, but people prepared for that.
Do reporters think that people are too stupid to realize it’s raining and the wind is blowing?
WE JAMAICANS NEED THE SHOWER!
The hood got a good scrubbing😊
Reporter: I can barely stand with my tiny mic.
Cameraman: You need some help there buddy? 💪🏻
Thank you Jah Jah 👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾 We alive . Jah Mek Ya 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Why is this man in the storm?
Sensationalism at its finest.
The breeze he was getting is not even that strong I mean in kingston we were all playing dominos and having a rain party outside 😂😂 so good
Could do the same reporting in a safe place. He won’t be nominated for the Oscars as he report this storm in the fashion as shown here. Come on CNN…you can do better.
Why didnt he get washed away... forever ?!
Mother nature at her best ❗️
Could have been a lot worse! Lucky it weakened and went a little south
The reporter was acting, was not as bad as he claims
Why are people still living in Texas or the south?🤔
no money for heat or ac so there they are. The poorest of the poor gravitate south. Nana called Florida the end of country everything loose rolled to. She wasn’t wrong.
Why not send coast guard and fireman to jamacia from California to perse the water in silos for future wildfires?
In a hurricane, he saw winds and rain, I do not believe it
Wow. They must be using the same cameras as the ones they used to film those nuclear blasts.
The thumbnail 😂❤
Hold on!
Protect them Lord. Protect this reporter from his own drama while others are all inside.
