I have the same saw. The fence is adjusted by moving the hex bolt the fence hooks on. All fences need adjusting every now and again and rarely come square out of the box.The fence comes loose because the pin on the fence tightening clips acting as the hinge move and come out of their holes. You need to put them back in their holes and secure with an epoxy glue either side. I've smashed my stand all over the place and it holds up. Also, dragged it everywhere. Better than carrying it.The saw is a poor mans Dewalt DWE7491-XE . Agreed, I'd probably not buy this saw again. I'd go for the Dewalt DWE7491-XE every time.
@noosaflooring thanks for the info, I'll take a look at the fence adjustment, I figured it was part of the rack/pinion gears which aren't adjustable. I can bend the axle by hand with enough force, not sure if we got one with shit material or what. We upgraded to a new Skilsaw worm drive and the quality is night and day. We were pretty disappointed with this thing
