I'm in the process of re-working a pastel painting I 'wrecked' mid way through. It's part of being an artist. I warped a panel stripping it once, kept painting anyhow and my cousin fell in love with the piece. I love what you are doing with this one so far. Happy Easter weekend to you also.

Amy... we sure do have those days for sure. It’s just part of the process. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter! 💕

I just dropped a wet but already sold painting and ruined the cold wax layers flowers. Four or five layers, smooshed. Thanks for sharing what you did about mistakes. It helped.

If i use water mixable oil paint and cold wax with a paintbrush, how do i clean the brush? Thanks.

Since you are also using cold wax, you need to clean with a solvent. Sorry.

Can you explain more about the oil you dropped in?

Linda Benton McCloskey you added oil with the dropper bottle. What was it? Do you ever add anything to mix on your palette to keep moist. Mine dry so fast. Thank you. Loving your videos

That was not oil...it was an odorless solvent - Gamsol which is made by Gamblin. Hope this helps.

Also, my palette does not dry out. As I finish for the day, I cover it tightly with plastic wrap.

You really have to feel sorry for unfriendly people. They must live such a miserable life. Then again we do not know what they may be going through and they are inside a shell of pain and misery. I can say I have been there myself at times and did not want any one to approach me, I just wanted to be left alone.

No, you have a right to you thoughts and options. I sure would have said something about a person not responding when I said hello or greeted them.
