I'm facing the same issue and the same circumstance. I already changed throttle body, re-calibrated TPS sensor, cleaned fuel injector but the problem was unsolved. The problem is at idle position everything is file but when I ride it, between some particular RPM say after 2000 to 3000, the bike starts misfiring. In other words at mid range of throttle when ride, the bike is misfiring. After watching this case which is very similar to mine, I decided to replace the ECU too so I ordered a new one because I have no friend circle having 500CC classic. When the new ECU I received, unfortunately the problem is still same and no idea how to resolve it. The Royal Enfield authorized dealer here is good for nothing because there is already very bad experience with them for the same issue. As they said that the issue is oil attacks on spark plug and they replaced the bore packing kits with new piston and rings. Afterwards the issue remains same it was but lot of new problem they created in the bike. Overall the ECU is not the issue in my case and still confused next what to do.

Hi, you can simply try changing the ecu as I did.. but before purchasing a new one, try a possibility to just check by installing a used ECU from a garage or in case some of your friends have the same model, it would help in just checking. Once you are sure that there's a problem in your ECU, then go for purchasing new one.
