      haha we are trying to get back to our once a week schedule. We've had a big change in the business. So that took priority. But hopefully we can go fulltime with this channel and make more content on it!

    Thank you so much. Just a slight adjustment to the blend and color saturation and brightness makes this effect lurk in the background and gives the shot a cinematic look. Exactly what I was looking for. 👍❤👍

    I’m that AE guy that wants to migrate over but scared of how much work Nodes look. Just seems so busy and tangled when I don’t know it like I do AE. Thanks 🙏🏼

      I feel you, I came from AE. Nodes are way more flexible and easier to troubleshoot actually. It's a bit intimidating until you realize that each node is essentially the same as an effect in AE. There's a course by lowepost that helped me learn a lot!

    When I started learning node editing In resolve I can deny after getting used to layers (hitfilm/afterfx) I was intimidated, after learning me some basic stuff and thanks to your advanced tutorials am feeling a lot more confident of the true power of nodes, in layer editing you have to bake in a lot of comps to accomplish what nodes can do without but at the same time you can pre-render/pre-comp in resolve/fusion and thats a very powerfull feature that i think everyone needs to take advantage off !

    Does anyone know what to do if the effect doesn't show? Ive done everything in the tutorial, I'm using the free version of the effect. But the effect isn't showing on the video.

      thanks man! I tried to do that as much as made sense. However, this was more of an advanced video and the base effect already took like 12 minutes. So It would be a 20+ minute video if I explained everything. I've went over a lot of those things in past videos as well. Ill try to be more detailed in the future though!

    Hey Billy, whenever I try to drag an effect I get off of one of your pages or Production Crate or any of the others, the transform node and glow node won’t join with it. I get a merge when I place it onto the node tree but when I want to add the different effects, they won’t link up. What am I doing wrong?

    Everything works as in the video but I cant add the glow, anytime i do the ball is cut by a rectangle, what can i do ? its probably because the energy ball is 1080p and my video is 4k

    Insert here, refract there, displace down to the side, add up there, subtract to the left, 90 degree turn left and right and finally wash your pants after learning this.

    Hey, the energy burst effect isn't getting showed there. It doesn't work and idk why. It worked once when i selected a fusion composition when i went to fusion i think, but that doesnt do anything to the video

    Hey there, i downloaded the free asset and very early in the steps, when I add the asset to fusion and then try connect a transform node, the energy burst is not visible. Any idea why this would be happening? I have the Studio version of Resolve.

    how do i remove the background from the energy effect? maybe im stupid but i cant figure it out :(
