I always use this function when I drive my troc! I noticed when you use the adaptive cruse control is also more economical on petrol consumption! Safe drive !

I don't know, but it seem to me that the automatic system is bit to brave at corners.... bit frightening

What do you mean always? It's a new system
And also what is troc? Do you mean truck?
And also no way cruise control is more economical unless it's one of those terrain predicting ones in some trucks.

So this system is even better than the Tesla's. To my knowledge, Telsa autopilot will not decelerate that much at the bend entry, which is very dangerous.

@Jen BULLSHIT !!! Typical fanboy post with no knowledge whatsoever! This IS WAY BETTER THE TESLA AP !! For starters the VW capacitive wheel puts the tesla to shame, you need to MOVE the wheel on tesla and the "lane keeping" will disengage if you move too much ... the tesla APP DOES NOT account for route planning info like the Travel Assist does !!Next the Travel Assist will work up to even 250 km/h, tesla won't ever come closer !!
What framerate ??? What are you talking about ??? Do you even know anything about the VW hardware ??? You are just being an autistic with no knowledge what so ever!

So far I've not used the native navigation on my 2021 Arteon SEL premium r-line, so I hope I have a better predictive experience than when I use Google maps.
It should not matter what map system I'm using as the native map is still active in the driver cockpit.

The new digital instruments are not quite an upgrade over the old one I feel. It looks so.. old school. Like the HUD in a Need for Speed game back in the 00's. I was such a big fan of the old design VW used.

I've got this feature in Passat 2021. However sometimes I'm not sure it will stop when I approach the intersection with red light and in front of me there's a car stopped. If this car wasn't driving before me and the road was clear it approaches the stopped car on the next intersection with quite high speed and it feels like it won't stop, so I hit the brakes every time as I'm not sure it detects the car if it wasn't before in front while driving.

    • @udit2026
      @udit2026 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

I have noticed this too with my 2022 tiguan. The braking doesn't feel natural.

@@HeadsUpNorth it is indeed a great car. Came back from the second winter trip of half a year through Europe. I did around 50k in two years - what can I say - it's a great great car, especially for long distance traveling and not only. I'll be sad to exchange it to a new one just to not pay the other half after leasing ends, so I guess I'll have to get a new one. But the choice is made already, it'll be Passat again obviously :)

I actually get a very uneasy feeling watching this. It's an impressive feat of engineering. But I do wonder how it responds to unexpected events; like pedestrians crossing just after the bend. If the driver is not near the break pedal at the time I hope the car's camera's and sensor's are able to detect them!
