"The Great Wall of Woodland Park." "I love my wall! Don't make fun of my wall." "Good. No, it's hideous." The delivery is what sells it. Gordon is a master at more than just cooking.
Harambe McHarambeface You mean when it predictably dropped due to panic trading, but has since then rose. People still trying to fear monger make me laugh.
Snake I hope your joking. Don't be a SJW simple because you see woman vs man. Sometimes you lose control and attack someone(physically or mentally). One person(the man) almost brought himself to harm another, while the other person(the woman) did harm a person. Think about if the roles were reversed. A man verbally abusing a woman, and the woman almost was going to hit the man, it wouldn't have been a such a sob story.
The fact that Gordon stopped everyone in their tracks and confronted the guy about trying to punch her is another reason why Gordon is super admired. He immediately stops disrespectful and violent behavior because he knows it’s uncalled for no matter the context.
Thank you. I'm so tired of people thinking she was just crying for help and all she wanted was justice. Not saying the dude is justified but that was very inappropriate and shows that she's not very self aware
You can date colleagues without it turning into... whatever that is. Seven and a half year, happy relationship - you'd NEVER know that by working with us. In fact, TONS of the people at my workplace are dating. We leave our home relationships at home and our work relationships at work and it works fine for us. If you're the kind of person who can't separate them like that; then yeah, you shouldn't date colleagues.
The real problem is the owner, who not only allows tension to build amidst her stuff to the point of a fight, but then fails to act decisively when somebody escalates it to physical violence. Any manager worth their salt would’ve fired him then and there. Her comments to him were nasty, but if you’ve got a cook who outright admits he doesn’t treat people right and gets violent when somebody dishes it back, he’s not mature enough to be working in a high stress environment.
well, he may not be a nice guy. But what I've actually seen here is that everyone else are assholes. And deserve to be replaced. And the young "headchef" needs a real headchef. But it's not his to hire one.
Dogman. I watched the clip again. No, that is quite normal. It was brought up. It's not uncommon for a "genuine human" to share their anger and frustration. You obviously have strong opinions. Also, the thing you said about the girl going from one guy to the next reminded me of the t.v show "Misfits." Also, just in case you missed, he literally admitted to nearly being violent, in one circumstance. Again, you have strong opinions. It is most likely clouding your ability to gather information from this video. I can't believe 2 people liked your stupid comment, or one person and you.
koviack. At the time of writing the comment, it was two likes. I did not like my own comment. The one like is someone else, and I can prove so by liking my own comment after typing this that will make it two likes. The video shows him admitting his threatening to punch her. My opinions are fairly straightforward, but perhaps not quite as understandable for those who don't have a grasp on emotion and behaviour in an academic regard, or appreciate what is being shown.
I can't get over how some people in the comments are making it seem as though Trevor was a big part of the restaurant failing when the daughter and mother weren't that good either. The second episode reveals that he was only acting out so badly because of his drug abuse. And rather than trying to understand what was going on or even help the guy, the mother and daughter bad mouthed him and pushed him down, so it's no wonder that he treated them the same way. Not saying Trevor is innocent obviously, but he would've been better off with the support he needed. I'm glad he's doing much better now and it's disheartening that the restaurant closed, but it was probably for the best.
He doesnt seem too high during the filming, nor did he seem like he was going through physical withdrawals. Plus he's maintaining a job, so its not terribly disabling like it is for most people. Its just a cope out of being responsible for his additude problems. Likely he has anger issues that needs addressed by a doc.
Snake I never said it was the same. If it was an isolated incident then he would be in the wrong for reacting violently. However, if she's constantly abusing him like that (which is usually the case), then she's doing far worse. And if the dude was a girl, no one would care half as much that he tried to hit her on that one occasion.
Oh arent you a genius, obviously so much better at english than him...thiis kynda writting deserwes ann insuhlt, not his. Sincerely, someone who realises that its not a big deal if the other guy makes a mistake.
Everyone's gotta stop looking at this 3 minute clip and making huge assumptions. I watched the whole episode and the mother and daughter were kind of sketchy. They instigated a lot of fights and ran a crappy restaurant, they most likely kept Trevor because he was cheap, even though he had all these issues. Trevor struggled with addiction and went to rehab, he's gone to culinary school and is doing a lot better, the restaurant shut down despite Ramsey's help. Not to say Trevor was justified in what he was doing by any means, but the daughter wasn't exactly innocent either, she would often insult Trevor saying things like he was better off dead.
Agree. I thought it was odd to say the least when she didn't even introduce herself, just came in saying how shit trevor was in front of gordon. Very juvinile
she immediately came out the gate and said “he tried to punch me” as one of the very first sentences she spoke to Gordon Ramsay. that alone shows me all she wanted was to put that guy on blast. she wouldve been reserved about it and let it come up naturally if it seriously bothered her THAT much, but nope, just outta nowhere she yells “you tried to punch me” when there was no correlation between that and the previous sentence. she was just dying to put that man in jail or something. wicked
Honestly everyone, lets not beat around the fucking bush here alright? The fact of the matter is that IF Trevor was abusive to the daughter its safe to say that any parent shouldn't put their daughter in the way of an abuser like that. and as for the sketchiness surrounding the mother and daughter well, they could have been a lot sketchier to the point of being dangerous. hell it could have turned out to be a façade to a group of psychopaths that could kidnap both Gordon and the camera crew.
"You tried to punch me!" Said the girl who harassed and mentally abused him... That's what bullies do: they play victim when people try to defend themselves.
@@Saturns_Return thing is, if the genders were switched, the world calls her brave. In this incident, people either side her or say they’re both wrong.
I saw the problem right when she said her daughter is one of the great members of staff and then Gordon mentioned ‘is she the one who forgot the spoon for the soup’ what is this 😂😂

Wow. What a great wall.
And here we have the average Trump supporter, who doesn't understand what a 'joke' is.

And she even persuaded Mexico to pay for it 🌚

Solorflare99 i hope you're joking
Cobalt Thunder wtf is the op for real, what's troubling is that 24 people agreed with him.

Well, he suffered at the hands of his own alcoholic dad for years, so he's definitely been in the trenches enough to know what's what with that.
But never stopped her..
I Like how he doesn't immediately hate the guy either cause what the girl said near the end showing that they're both probably at fault
Later they made up and married and opened a small restaurant called Amy's baking company
Lmao I m dead 💀😂😂😂😂
That conversation at the end is just inappropriate. That's why you don't date colleagues.
Thank you. I'm so tired of people thinking she was just crying for help and all she wanted was justice. Not saying the dude is justified but that was very inappropriate and shows that she's not very self aware
Especially if they're the children of the management / the owner.
That's why you don't date assholes
Thats why you dont date assholes. Although still, coworker dating stuff might be awkward with all that hierarchy going on in the background.

Jack Jones Is that a Yugioh reference
I absolutely love how honest he is about his food
NRX25 the guy his more of a headache then a Head Chef???
It's not unusual for an abusive guy to play victim.
he does seem pretty worthless to be fair lol she ani't wrong
Dogman. I watched the clip again. No, that is quite normal. It was brought up. It's not uncommon for a "genuine human" to share their anger and frustration. You obviously have strong opinions. Also, the thing you said about the girl going from one guy to the next reminded me of the t.v show "Misfits."
Also, just in case you missed, he literally admitted to nearly being violent, in one circumstance.
Nino, I've come to bargain.
Obi Nelson hahahhaa
Agreed
Thats some serious mental gymnastics there LOL.
i bet trevor isn't even remotely abusive compared to the mother and daughter, i hate how emotional abuse isn't perceived as badly as physical
Sure thing, Joker.
At least he's honest, most chefs on this show are cocky and rate their food super high even though its trash
Both of them were horrible. The girl was just as bad because she was psychologically abusing him. You could even argue that she was worse.
Ash wtf😂. Saying no one likes him is not the same as pushing someone and trying to punch them
Snake I never said it was the same. If it was an isolated incident then he would be in the wrong for reacting violently. However, if she's constantly abusing him like that (which is usually the case), then she's doing far worse.
And if the dude was a girl, no one would care half as much that he tried to hit her on that one occasion.
Eric Hansen Can you explain how the meth was related to this incident?
Jorsey *hit. You could at least try to pretend you know English.
Oh arent you a genius, obviously so much better at english than him...thiis kynda writting deserwes ann insuhlt, not his.
Sincerely, someone who realises that its not a big deal if the other guy makes a mistake.
I just love it when Mr Ramsay is nice to the waiters/waitresses.
I thought the daughter seemed like a snake tongued brat... Hope the guy Trevor is putting his shit together
she immediately came out the gate and said “he tried to punch me” as one of the very first sentences she spoke to Gordon Ramsay. that alone shows me all she wanted was to put that guy on blast. she wouldve been reserved about it and let it come up naturally if it seriously bothered her THAT much, but nope, just outta nowhere she yells “you tried to punch me” when there was no correlation between that and the previous sentence. she was just dying to put that man in jail or something.
@@cactusmalone like you just did....
"You tried to punch me!"
Said the girl who harassed and mentally abused him... That's what bullies do: they play victim when people try to defend themselves.
they're both assholes
also relationships are consensual so who cares if someone's getting abused. get a jobby job and leave bitch lol
There some *hooeees* in this restaurant!
@@Saturns_Return thing is, if the genders were switched, the world calls her brave. In this incident, people either side her or say they’re both wrong.
