I love your video! Thank you for this great explanation! 😄 I don’t know how to read music or play an instrument, but I can really appreciate the break down of these few chords. BTW, I subscribed. 😌
Hello HDpiano. I just wanted to say that I've been watching your tutorials for over 6 years now and I find your videos really useful. Keep up the great work! 👍🏼
Duran Duran managed to make 'A View to A Kill" sound both like a Bond Theme and a Duran Durnan song. Tina Turner's Goldeneye beautifully echoed Shirley Bassett's "Goldfinger".
Not exactly, but good question! They alternate the minor and the major VI in minor keys. They usually avoid the VII, so we could either say that they alternate minor and dorian, or harmonic minor and melodic minor, and they would both be correct.
We are working hard to bring Guaraldi into our tutorial library! If we don’t have something, it’s likely due to a licensing limitation 🙏🏻✌🏻 We want them by end of November at the latest hopefully!!
No duh… but the melody and thē rhythm matter a crap ton. You can’t just say all the best music in the world is good because it goes up then down LmFAO. Go to music theory and waste time. Listen. It’s either good or it’s garbage. Every single rhythm hit MATTeRs. If it was all played with random rhythm or all the same whole notes then it would sound bloody annoying…. That’s the only differences between the good versions and the crappy new ones…
Because those chromatic lines have that espionage vibe, matching to his character, as a spy
I miss the Bond guitar chord
It's a classic!
The chord is EmM7 add9
this is the first time I've ever been this early by accident
A happy accident!
Me too 😂😂

Are they written in harmonic minor keys?

What happend to all your Vince Guaraldi tutorials 😢😢😢😢

Because it’s a scary kinda noise and spooky music are alwyas with chromatic
Super spooky
halo 5 moment
I prefere ''skyfall'' by Adele
Chromatic doesn't mean the notes are next to eachother, it means they use notes not in one particular scale
It's cause the chromatic changes up evoke feelings of tension and going down makes it feel like the tension is loosening
Because that's the theme??
Crazy that I’m this early!
You’re fast!! 👏🏻😎
IM ACTUALLY WE EARLY OMGG
Woo!
Am I the first?
Yes
It seems so! 🙌
