You have inspired me to start drawing animals at the age of 63, please paint a elephant, I recently did my first one in graphite but I what to try painting in acrylics. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
Congratulations Daniel on your award. it is well deserved. your subs will keep on rising because you are one of ,if not the best channel out there. You are a true inspiration.
I just discovered this morning that I can fill the crevasses of the canvas in with white house paint! I buy the white paint returns at the hardware store for $5 per quart and use it for my all my painting. It works though! Cheaper than gesso!
Excellent works, your realism does not remain in the photographic as it usually happens to others, it goes further, in your works there is a structure, a synthesis, personality, elaboration and hours of study packed into each painting, I congratulate you, I really like your work, keep going!
Thumbs up for Amber! Thats awesomwe! You rock girl!!! And congrats for you too and your big new button. I love love this painting you are doing can't wait to see it when it's done.
Congrats on your award. I too love painting big cats & dislike rocks & wood, but your use of using leaves to print & stencil with has inspired me to give it a go. Im currently using pyrography with my oil & acrylic paintings as a background which is very effective but i must give the leaf thing a go. Love watching your videos always inspiring.
My name is Robert from ohio in the USA you have a awesome skill. The problem I find in making a realistic painting is mixing realism with impressionist back ground. You seem to have that down. Great job !
I like the techniques you've been using within the painting. I been learning new ways to paint by watching you. I been wanting to try it but I haven't had the time. I really like the painting. I also love the tiger charcoal picture you created it looks so realistic. You well deserve the youtube award. Thankyou.😊
Fantastic! Congratulation's on your award, you cetainly deserve it. I also enjoy watching your process you've given me thoughts on a piece I'm working on. Thank you!
Congrats on your award! I often use cello sponges and crumpled paper loaded with paint to create texture for bark and rocks. The cello sponges create great looks for moss and bark texture. The crumpled paper can be continuously reshaped to keep the texture random. The sponges can be torn to keep the shapes random as well. I usually start with a medium value and add lighter colors and glazes to create the depth. It's a little messy at times but kind of fun, too!
I’m even more gutted I missed the workshop now! I think you should paint a tree to go in the spare frame, the only way to get better at painting trees is to paint trees! 🌲 🌳
I love your paintings. I really learned a lot from watching the ones that started with charcoal with paint overlays. You have taught me a lot. This particular painting is showing me how to let go and be creative with the background. I do not like a lot of detail in the background so I love how you put muted detail there with all sorts of colors and shapes. Beautiful.
Really love your work so much. It's good to see that even someone as great as yourself "messes up" sometimes and it's ok to go back and change things. I have this problem A LOT as a newbie and I always hesitate to change anything bc I'm afraid of just messing it all up.
Danke, deine Kreationen sind wunderbar, lebhaft und transportieren deine Schöpferkraft. Ich habe bereits einiges von Dir dazugelernt, mag es selber noch etwas abstrakter wenn ich male. Mit lieben Grüssen ❤
Another brilliant tutorial , thanks Daniel 😊 Good luck to you and Amber in your new home . . . Happy painting and even happier memories to come for you both 😊
CONGRATULATIONS on this major TH-cam milestone - looks like they were a bit slow though because you are not almost a third of the way toward your second 100K!! Well earned, your paintings are superb and your videos are so helpful. Thanks you for sharing your struggles and re-dos; it encourages those of us who are not at your level to persevere. And I especially relate to your remarks about finding some of the surrounding and background elements more difficult than the animals.
well done and congrats on the silver play button Daniel, great result for hard work. Chasing after mine now lol. all the best for the move, cheers Paul
Hello dear animal artist, i think something that we maybe a to much time work with acrilics on each work i talk for myself, from now just block in in acrilics then switch to oils, its lot easier for me.Acrilics i like its make like gum surface its vibrant but its too much for me so much hours, few times burnt out, regards with respect.

If the charcoal tiger can fit into the black frame, it would be a great match. If it doesn't fit, perhaps adding a passe partout would help?

How much would that charcoal tiger cost?
I think you should do a painting of African Wild Dogs, put it in the black frame and send it to me. Just because.

Qual o segredo para pintar sem se sujar, sem sujar o moleton?
Love your painting tutorials, but the background music is hideous and headache inducing. Could you please leave that out? Music is not needed.
