Love ur channel y'all are very amusing.. it helps me get the through my day with my family of 6 kids my husband and my disabled mother loosing our home to a jerk who bought our property for 85 hundred dollars as we don't have 9 thousand to save our home of 36 years.. I'm also disabled and a survivor of brain cancer 2 times over so thank you for posted and making my days a little easier..
Those metal baskets go in the grey dresser. Just because there is nothing made of metal to scrap, didn't mean the locker isn't worth money! You got a good locker there and you can make good money from it if you do it right, you can make much more then 150.00 profit!! Why do you think that bedroom set was wrapped up the way it was, because It is worth quite a bit!!!! lol go for it!!
Maybe to stop damage from scratches or damp, because it has more value. This bloke never seems happy, $5, that's a good buy, and he knows how to sell it lol.
Bedroom set is Art Deco.
The furniture was wrapped with plastic wrap to keep the drawers from sliding open when you move them.
I would never call the bedroom set Art Deco, but it def qualifies as Mid-century. Interesting color, bows fronts, armoire and dresser - you could make at least 200 on these. As you probably know, a set of furniture is worth more than a single piece. I agree w comments about spray painting the credenza and the chest. Might want to remove some of the hideous paint choices to discover if there might actually be decent wood underneath. People do really silly things sometimes, like not appreciate a piece as is and get overly zealous with the spray paint cans. LOL. Good luck with it!

Wow that is one mighty good locker. Look at that furniture and it’s all wrapped too for protection. You need to check those quarters as I have learned if they have the years of 1968 and older they will be actual silver.
I like that the person who stored these things was clean, wrapped the furniture and no junk junk! Perk...you got your 5 dollars back in quarters! Liked this vid!
The rolling stand/entertainment center is made of pallets and most likely never had any drawers. The green trimmed mirror does go with the matching mini "console" table/side table. They usually are placed in an entry way or hallway.

It always amazes me how little furniture goes for up north! I'm in southwest GA. That bedroom set would sell for at least $200 here!
That bedroom set looks more European than American. The styling of the handles are the tell. That set is solid keep it together. That long green mirror and little hanging shelf are suited for an entry way.

it was a CLEAN unit! The furniture was wrapped (and in very good shape!) the Christmas stuff will sell at the flea market. The DYI painted pieces will also sell at the flea market. Put the bedroom set on Craigs list and sell it. You already made your money back in quarters, so this unit is pure profit!! Absolutely no trash (even the train parts and clothes could go to the flea market!! LOL) Way to go Taco!!
On wood items like the dresser your value can be established by Dove tail work on the drawers. That's great furniture. Cheap stuff the drawers don't last.
The little green table and mirror would be perfect for an entry way table or a hallway. If you posted that on Facebook marketplace you could probably get $50 for the pair easily.
Could never lose on a $5 buy totally for the dream!

I don't know if you have already heard this suggestion, but it would be great if you would:
(1) take a photo of each item when you remove it from the storage unit,
(2) note for each item the name and date of the video,
(3) also, note what your price estimate is for each item, and
(4) how you expect to dispose of each item.
When you dispose of the item, it would also be great if, on the video immediately following the sale, you would:
(1) post in the video the photo of the sold item,
(2) explain:
(a) how you thought you would dispose of the item (i.e donate, flea market, or eBay),
(b) how it was actually disposed of,
(c) what you thought it would sell for, and
(d) what it actually sold for.
Sorry about all of the detailed steps but I would like so very much to know what happens to each item that I didn't want you to have to do any thinking about how to get it done.
Make sure to check if the quarters are sliver it did have the silver sound to them

The blue dresser without drawers... use the wire baskets in it and get more money, put the two red ones in each big opening and the one with No.1 in one of the drawer slots. Leave one empty.
It can go in a laundry or play room. I recently sold one similar for $125.00.
The dressers have Dovetail construction...that's good!!

I'd ask $150.00 for the full bedroom set. The contact paper in the drawers is vintage 60s to early 70s, so the set could be late Deco to mid century modern. Nice sturdy real wood set. Red thing could be a cool toy box, I'd pay $20-25 for it. The grey rolling piece could be repurposed as a tv/entertainment center. You got a great buy!.

OML!!!!.........That is a Great locker! That long dresser with no drawers...The metal baskets go in that and you can sell the set for an easy 100. to 150. The dresser and amour is an easy 100. and about 130 to 150 if the headboard matches. I sure hope you didn't just give that stuff away.

Anything even slightly wrapped usually means breakable/special/old/worthy. Well-wrapped?, esp. furniture...double the care!
The bedroom set would be from war time era of the 40's or before. during war time they did scrap metal drives so getting your hands on or being able to afford nails to make furniture was scarce and expensive, so wood workers and handy husbands (like my great grandfather & grandfather) made furniture using joinery styles and patterns to join and link wood together to give it strength and stability. they would rub beeswax and hot varnish on the joins. the beeswax would help stop the wood from squeaking and the boiled varnish would seal the open wood ends of the join and also work as a glue.
if the bedroom set is matching you can fetch a higher price for it so your thoughts of a small pay day are very wrong.
if the bedroom set went to auction here where I live it would go for at least $1500 or more.

Put some mid century modern legs on the red chest. Depending on the length of the legs you could have a coffee table or consoletable.

The bedroom set looks like it's from the 1970s that shelf paper inside the drawers looks like 70s to me. I also like how they have no handles. You should be able to sell that it needs some repair on those scratches but not bad. You scored with this locker Taco. You'll work a bit for it but that's how it goes, good job.

I know it is too late but check the pockets in the clothes found in the backpack....especially if there was a bag of quarters in there.

Got the same set of bedroom furniture. U can sell together for $400. Red chest, $50. Grey table, $60. Coffee table, $75. U made a killing. Good luck
The gray piec on the rt. Common to take the drawers out and turn old dressers into tv stands or buffet. Then add baskets in some slots for storage. Look up day dress to tv stand here on TH-cam.

Great video! Make sure you go through absolutely everything thoroughly- pockets etc. would have liked to see you looking at the brand of clothing, under the Xmas decoration in the basket, and emptying the tote. The snowflake fabric is lovely - you can send that to me in New Zealand if you like 😂

The 2 light wood dressers look a bit Art Deco to me(I think it is circa 1930’s). You could ask a pretty penny for that! Good luck! Great video.

Some of those christmas ornaments May be valuable collectibles. With many going for hundreds of dollars. Hopefully u did your research on them before u got rid of them.
