  • Today we move on to our second lecture on Julius Evola’s classic text The Metaphysics of Sex to examine the first chapter’s explanation of why modern sexology is mistaken in assuming that sexual desire is always a distorted expression of the instinct to reproduce in order to prevent the species from going extinct. Evola calls into question the very idea of a linear evolution by noting that some lower animals actually appeared after Man began declining from his higher state in the Golden Age and for that reason the desires also came to devolve to the status of mere instincts. Instead, the Ancient Chinese notion of Yin and Yang and the Platonic Ideas of Absolute Man and Absolute Woman will show a very different explanation sexual desire that remains relevant to the present day.

Watch this video and then see what Wiki says on Evola's views of sex and women.

His face was too long -- his philosophy was wrong.
