i'm pretty knowledgeable on fire arms but and this is my first armored core game so humor me, i prefer to be the guy with the Gatling. its just a great all rounder IRL decent range and accuracy, good ground to ground and air to air combat capability i'm not sure how that translates in game but in almost every situation a machine gun is always a good pick
No one else has come close to actually analyzing the reasoning and tactics of this trailer like you. I enjoyed it much more now because I’ve never played Armored Core and mostly heard “this looks sicK” instead of WHY this looks sick. Thank you!
I like how you had us all watch the video, then told us what really happened- 70% of the nuance went over my head. You talked about it like living chess. I hope you are getting paid for this video, because I'm starting to get sold on this game.
The title was not lying, holy shit! As a new from software fan and an enjoyer of the mecha genre, this video has given me an appreciation for the level of detail fsw adds to everything they make as well as the amount of insight that long time veterans of the series have. Incredible work!
My favorite piece of storytelling in this trailer is in the callsigns of the pilots. They're numbered 617, 619, and 620, with the protagonist being labelled 621 at the end. Just by skipping 618 adds so much questions about the world. What happened to 618? If they died in a earlier mission, then was 620 then the new replacement? If 620 was new and not as experienced, then that could also lead into why they were the first to die.
this is what analysis trailer should be. hearing the commentary for some reason make it more epic because he know what's he talking about. I salute you fellow raven.
Best analysis so far: you just made my day. Now I can truly say I have watched the trailer. Rather than gatekeep and show how badass you truly are, you opened the door for everyone to come in. I am convinced that this is the soul of the AC community. Those souls channels reacting need to come watch and learn.
Apparently this game is going to have bigger emphasis on Human Plus story wise and this trailer oozes it. Looking forward to seeing where it goes. Excellent analysis, one of the better ones.
This is amazing! These videos you're doing on Armored Core are amazing! Please do more videos on Armored Core or more videos on Mech games in general. You guys have a great talent for it. I am heavily, eagerly waiting for the next video. Keep up the good work!
My dude spoke nothing but facts. The analyzing is on point! I've been playing AC since 97. I still play ACFA on Xbox 360, and (ACVD on the jp server) on ps3. I can't wait until the new AC6 is released.
"This is what it looked like in our heads" - 100% absolutely agreed. There's so much desperation in this trailer, and that completely captures the feeling of Armored Core in a nutshell. Almost out of ammunition, 400 AP... "enemy AC identified, take him out or we can't pick you up".
What a distinct analysis this was, markedly different from anything else, very interesting. AC6 is bringing some pretty interesting people to the forefront.
Wow awesome break down! I didn't notice how the quicker mech purposely cut off his squad member to get the attention of the tank who was about to fire and blast him. Rewatching the trailer now it's so obvious!
Spot on, Bravo on the composition. Almost hoping the trailer on the 25th will jab at a soloist view of this - full of weapon purge choice and a risky maneuver with the new leg mechanics. If there's a good hallmark of AC trailers, they are good at hinting what you will hear and see. A lot of feel was baked in across the series.
My pilot background story in AC 6 is that he was a combat veteran officer for 12 years as a normal pilot. When he got out of service, he still has that sense of adventure. He loves looking for clues and piecing together the puzzle. He can see the difference of who is evil and who is good. He is also an investigator. He meet Handler Walter at a bar on Earth and was asking if their were any pilots available for the job he had. My pilot was interested and asked what the job was about. Walter told him about it and he accepted it. He heard about Rubicon and what happened to it. He also heard about CORAL. My pilot was extremely interested in this substance and wants to know why it is so important. My pilot told Walter that he also had a debt to pay and wants to wipe it away. Walter agreed to help him, but first, he has to do this job for him.
Wait i love your tutorial videos especially on animations because they are so well done and fast, straight to the point And now you talk about one of my favorite games haha so cool
Ngl I actually used your blender tutorials for a few projects so when I clicked on the armored core videos I thought this was a completely different channel.
I love how there's this long-running series of mech games that I've never played, but now that Elden Ring has brought FromSoft into the limelight and made me ready to fully trust them for their next game, I can jump into this series and be like "ooh this is cool what's going on" and all these old school AC nerds are like "it's my time to shine. here's what happened:"
So i dont play souls and have never played Armored core (the latter is a personal regret of mine). But i love big robots and fast paced combat and customisation. And to hear a vet talking about it being basically what he imgined but in glorious hd is very encouraging
Never did I thought that the channel I have subscribed for Blender would hype me up for the upcoming From-software release. Seeing how different this game is compared to souls-born series, I was hesitant on trying it but your enthusiasm is persuading me otherwise.
Great Analysis~♪ Thanks for getting us all up to speed. As for your question, I'm drifting towards Close-Range. Needing to distract the targets and divert enemy fire from my comrades would require two things I value in combat: Full understanding of my abilities, and quick pattern recognition of enemy tactics. With these things in mind, training for Close-Range would, by extension, train me to optimize the full potential of my weapon. To get in there, and be that mosquito or hornet our enemies just can't swat in time before they get blindsided by my teammates with the heavy artillery.
One thing I noticed with AC6 is that much of the Enemy Mechs are Quadrupled and not bi-peddled. Like AC5, where one of the main enemy Mechs had tank treads
I never liked the gameplayof AC before, but the last gameplay reveal they did plus this trailer plus you explaining it sold me. I will try this game when i got the chance. Though my reflex aren't what they used to be.
Theres some stuff off about this, the shield in this game is a type off auxiliary equipment which occupies a slot outside of weapons. You can see this in the gameplay trailer where its further explained. Hounds are Handler Walters mercenaries that he uses and seemingly isn’t the name of all “raven” type pilots. Instead they seem to have gone with just “mercenaries” There is primal armour in the game but it occupies the shield slot essentially. What was used here was the coral reactor of the armored core to allow it overcharge and cause essentially a pulse/explosion from the reaction. It seems all armored cores can do this however the benefits/drawbacks are currently unknown.
"This right here.... is Armored Core" Love it xD. After watching the breakdown I think there's a few things we could have missed. The surviving AC is numbered 617, the guy on the table is 621. In the trailer its said that the pilot is flying under another pilots callsign, which means either you've been kind of recycled and rebuilt and are now 621, or they've assigned your callsign to your replacement, assuming your death, meaning we possibly play as 617. Just a theory.
This is my first AC game and im excited im definitely useing a lazer sword as for gun im not sure yet maybe mini gun or a shotgun definitely medium weight if possible with some kind of missile luncher
Sure man - So, in the past AC games, Pilots who had died in battle, but had "Dominant" potential were forcefully revived and injected with special abilities helping them integrate with their machine better than a typical pilot. These abilities would allow the pilot to push their machine WAY past it's official "Recommended" limits, but the catch is there is no guarantee you'd survive the injection. It's basically a second shot at life you didn't ask for. If it doesn't work, you were dead anyway. If it does work, you basically come back a AC God - And, many of the best pilots were brought back and injected multiple times, each time gaining new abilities that made their AC stronger -
I like that the trailer gives a reason why the player character is silent. His augmentation process was not fully finalize before Walter activated him.
So I decided to hop in to the series while waiting for the 6 and played AC4 and For Answer, and holy shit I cant wait till this game comes out. This series is such a underrated gem.
What kind of Pilot will you be?? Long range? Close range? Heavy? Let me know in the comments below!!
As a warhammer fan, I have to go for an overkill heavy sniper that can crush anyone in close range
If shit goes way to hard then HIGH POWER OUTPUT BACKPACK CANNON and tank Leg
If shit goes way to hard then HIGH POWER OUTPUT BACKPACK CANNON and tank Leg
Normal mostly light weight machine gun
i'm pretty knowledgeable on fire arms but and this is my first armored core game so humor me, i prefer to be the guy with the Gatling. its just a great all rounder IRL decent range and accuracy, good ground to ground and air to air combat capability i'm not sure how that translates in game but in almost every situation a machine gun is always a good pick

That's a crazy amount of detail that 99.44% of the people won't understand.
yup
Unfortunately, and they will probably say the game sucks because of it.
I wont be one of them. been flying from the nest since 1997.
Momma says im special but i got it
This is insane. I’ve never played armoured core and I can’t believe how the trailer is able to show gameplay aspects while staying cinematic
this trailor shows the methadolagy of AC. the though prosses and resing behind choises you must make
I like how you had us all watch the video, then told us what really happened- 70% of the nuance went over my head. You talked about it like living chess.
I hope you are getting paid for this video, because I'm starting to get sold on this game.
If you like the ideas of awesome mech combat and stat sheets you should check it out.

If you are new to Armored Core watch this video *chef's kiss*
"Welcome aboard, you're one of us now."
That line is really damn cute. Subbing now lol.

Alright this is a real deal analysis, very informative man. Keep it up
Dude those last words. I can't wait to enjoy every bit!!!

Phenomenal video. Never heard takes like this on their tactics in the trailer. So cool to see.
Thanks Raven ❤

Dude you got me freaking HYPED!!
Finally. This is the breakdown I was looking for.
A legit AC fan giving out the facts.
I came here for blender content and stayed for the mecha. What an interesting channel
What a distinct analysis this was, markedly different from anything else, very interesting. AC6 is bringing some pretty interesting people to the forefront.
As a new comer, im super excited

I can’t wait for this omg
Im new, that was cool af, can’t wait
I did not think that the trailer had been so well thought out and worked
Nice breakdown, lotta stuff I saw missed on other videos!
What a nice video, i was not expecting that
By far the best analysis I've seen.

The close range AC guy left arm is trying to switch to a bigger weapon on his back before he take the first hit. RIP 620
well, that is what i call an analylisis. thank you, very good :)
Wait i love your tutorial videos especially on animations because they are so well done and fast, straight to the point

Ngl I actually used your blender tutorials for a few projects so when I clicked on the armored core videos I thought this was a completely different channel.
9:43 that scene also shows how much more advanced AC's are given how it can hold back an MT thats 20x it's weight and size.
Damn... thanks for your input man, that was amazing, it is great to see veterans so in love with what is to come, so fullfilling.
OG Armored Core pilot, here. That was great🤘
love how you casually call 617's weapon as "Mini" gun forgetting the fact of the actual size of that thing irl
Amazing stuff. God damn you knocked it out of the park with this one
True, in most generations of ac gatling gun/mounted gatling arms with full load of ammo nearly cost more than reward from mission
Very interesing anaylsis, well done connecting it to the actual experience of playing the game.
So i dont play souls and have never played Armored core (the latter is a personal regret of mine). But i love big robots and fast paced combat and customisation. And to hear a vet talking about it being basically what he imgined but in glorious hd is very encouraging
oh boi
ROYAL SKIES IS AN AC FAN
From this moment on. You are a Raven!
By the way, but Great video covering the technical side of the trailer.
Never did I thought that the channel I have subscribed for Blender would hype me up for the upcoming From-software release. Seeing how different this game is compared to souls-born series, I was hesitant on trying it but your enthusiasm is persuading me otherwise.

Yep, that’s a subscribe from me. Well analyzed
This analysis really hits my nostalgia for the old game experiences. Especially Gen 3
Thanks man! I loved this. It hyped me up even more to play this game! This trailer just cemented my excitement to get into the armored core fandom.
Dude awesome analysis
Need a video explaining more of the story dialogue and AC / Coral / H+ lore from all the trailers and information we have thus far
Hounds is adopted from the game chrome hounds which was also developed by from software.
Awesome analysis! As a first time AC player, this really puts things into context super well.
7:07 is peak game design, tbh
You get a sub from me just for the amazing description of the outro.🤣🤣
That was a great analysis of the mission. Your the only reactor who broke down the mission like that, great job 👌
You said, you would do it. Great analysis!
Watching 620 get torn up by that energy shotgun is brutal
I love your analysis, It really goes into detail. As a soon to be new player this is really cool!
I didn't knew this trailer had so much depth.
thats insane lore
i now understand why the kamikazee attack ahppened
that debt would have been worse lmao
Well done Raven
Might also be twin pistols hes firing based on the handles.
Some of the gen 1 pistols got pretty large
Fromsoft got me looking forward to experiencing systemic exploitation and crippling debt
I really liked your point of view and analysis. keep it up!
Such a harrowing song playing… love how it contributes to the atmosphere.
9:53 It's the most armored core I've ever seen😂🤣🤣🤣
On to the next mission: Defend the lasers this time.
Now you have to 1v3 the Alpha Squad
One thing I noticed with AC6 is that much of the Enemy Mechs are Quadrupled and not bi-peddled. Like AC5, where one of the main enemy Mechs had tank treads
I never liked the gameplayof AC before, but the last gameplay reveal they did plus this trailer plus you explaining it sold me. I will try this game when i got the chance. Though my reflex aren't what they used to be.
Hounds? Like Chromehounds?
At the end you should have said " From now on, you are a Raven" just like the tutorial guy in AC1
Never played but this gets me excited!
Been playing since PlayStation 2 days. Cried when I saw the reveal trailer, haven’t been this excited for a game since GTA V
We agetecians gotta stick together 🐮
Loving this trailer a lot. Feels lot like 86-Eighty Six anime series.

Can you also do an analysis of the other armored core videos? I want to hear your analysis on the other intros or cutscenes
Okay the tactical approach is Fromsoft at their finest. Okay I'm def getting this game. It'll be my first entry into AC
I remember running a successful mission and losing money. That and hours making my emblem
Great analysis. Played armoured corps 2 on PlayStation two and it was too hard for me as a teenager. Hope I can crack it as an adult on ps4
Unless your doing some sort of challenge run type thing ac2 is generally considered one of the easiest games in the series
Very nice

Bravo
This is my first AC game and im excited im definitely useing a lazer sword as for gun im not sure yet maybe mini gun or a shotgun definitely medium weight if possible with some kind of missile luncher
You make me remember my bankruptcy in game T,T
also, at the end was the pilot put inside the AC on life support?
imagine ending a vegetable after an accident and they still make you go to work...

Waiting for ultimate royalskies Armored core game tier-list. For some reason i feel like AC: Silent Line is your favourite. Did i hit the spot?
So I decided to hop in to the series while waiting for the 6 and played AC4 and For Answer, and holy shit I cant wait till this game comes out. This series is such a underrated gem.
When your nearing the end of the work or school day and you get hit with overtime or homework...aka that big ass tank thing showing up outta nowhere.😂
I believe 617 is still alive, as in the gameplay trailer you can see the player/another mech do the same thing
Remembering the last Raven experience when you fight the enemy Ac half health and use secondary weapons and then a pulveriser came out...😅😅
bang kamu orang indo ?

wait we go into debt when we lose? I will never recover
That's how it's always been lol, your essentially your own mechanic both in decking out your build and in financing your personal death machine
