You’re not kidding the Colossus lives up to its namesake 😅 honestly though, heavy bikes tend to feel incredible on jumps and chunk. And the new Berm Creek revamp looks incredible!
Crazy, didn't know its weight was quite that high! The Ferrum LVN 160 I built is all steel with coil front and rear and its weight is pretty much spot on with his last Colossus. You think a lot of that weight comes from the linkage? Or is the tubing just that beefy on this thing? I've never seen one in person so Im curious
I recently bought my first full suspension, in the form of a second hand polygon siskiu t8 for an absolute steal of $900 Australian ($570 US) and it feels crazy when you’re used to a hard tail

I love your new bikes videos, but i dare you to do a video on the 2014-2015 GT Sensor elite. i love it, and I think you would love it too. Love from the West Coast.
That is incredible they were able to spec a zeb and 12 spd deore for that price. I will say that I've seen tons of people posting pictures of cracked polygon frames specifically the Dseries frames. Leaves you to wonder if you're getting that level of component spec where the shortcuts are being made, likely the frame and the linkages.
When I hear about that, I just wonder what they were doing with the bike before and during the crack. I know they're entry level bikes, common for teens or people starting out. I'd assume that they were using the bike for some pretty gnarly stuff. I know that sounds like a paid Polygon shill, but if you read Pinkbike comments on their articles, everyone says every frame cracks all the time
@EvansMTBSaga yeah, not sure. My friend has had a D 7 that he has ridden pretty hard and it's been great for the last year and a half or so, no issues.
I just ordered and received a Polygon Xtrada 5 for a friend and he is extremely happy with it. It's for transportation and he isn't a fan of the 1x setup. The Xtrada 5 is a 2x cross country bike which will be on tarmac 99% of the time.

@@EvansMTBSaga that wouldn't help to be honest. You need to let out all the air in the air shock and compress the rear suspension completely with your seat in the down position and adjust the seat out of the back tires way under deep compression. You might be surprised at how much travel you are leaving on the table before it even bottoms out.
I've heard that noise before. It was the sound of the rear wheel buzzing my seat at full compression. I moved the seat forward in the rails about 2mm. Problem solved.
