    I had EXACT same issues for RAV4 2006 during a rainy day. I was so scared but got home safely as car was still running. Did not drive the next day & drove different car to work. 2 dry days after that & I did not do anything at all. The 3rd day the RAV4 started & ran like MAGIC. Oreilly & Advanced Auto both confirmed that there is nothing wrong with my battery or alternator.

    All it is that you have a coil pack miss fire . I had the same thing happen and the last number in the code is the number of the cylinder. If it throw an o2 Sensor code it because your drivi g around with a miss fire for to long. With the the miss fire it throws the car in to limp mode thats why all the other lights are on but its a miss fire . All the lights will go out once you change the coil.

      💯 same thing happened to me today and I just changed the coil pack boom everything was ok

      @sistersin หลายเดือนก่อน

      We changed all the coil packs and the lights still keep coming back on. This was after already replacing both O2 sensors and a new muffler. Code P0171 keeps popping back up, got a new Toyota gas cap too just in case.

    It's fake notification due to dust, rain, or driving in mountainy areas. To know whither it's fake notification ( switch the car to access, don't start the engine, go to the battery, remove the "-" negative electrode from battery, go again to the car key and switch it off. Wait 30 seconds. Then re connect the battery) and start the car. If it's fake notification, it will disappear. If it doesn't disappear, then don't change anything but drive it to the closest mechanic specialist..

    I had those check engine lights too in my 2007 RAV4. I replaced the 02 sensors and air fuel ratio sensor. I looked for vacuum leak. I replaced the fuel tank cap. I cleaned and interchanged the position of the fuel injectors as well as ignition coils. BUT nothing of these gave the solution. When I use the scanner, there is always "lean fuel" and always 2nd cylinder misfire. I don't want to think of cylinder head gasket problem. I concentrate on the "lean fuel". I think about fuel pressure regulator and/or dirty fuel filter. I decided to replace both the fuel pump and the fuel pressure regulator. I both the cheap aftermarket fuel pump but I bought the regulator from toyota. I forgot to buy the wiring harness to the fuel pump. BUT I replaced both the fuel pump and regulator. OLA! NO MORE CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS.

    Have this same issue on 2007 Limited 2.4L. It has been to 3 Toyota dealers. End result is they said it is because my catalytic converter needs replaced. I can clear the code but it always comes back eventually. Replaced 02 sensors. No change. When the DTC is active....cruise control, stability control and AWD do not work. Possible causes that make it come back on include rain/humidity, full throttle...

    Mine kept throwing all three of the exact same lights I went through all types of crap trying to fix it in the end it was a leaky gas tank lid that's right a leaky gas tank lid will set off your stability four wheel drive and check engine code all at the same time that one click when tightening it I guess gives way over time and the tank will not properly vent and it sets off all three lights they will come and go usually when it rains and there's a lot of moisture in the air it will set them off and they will stay on I went through a lot trying to figure out what the hell was going on cost me $12 to fix it in the end a damn gas tank lid. The rear brakes are notorious for it too which I replaced as well because most people replace the front brakes but don't replace the rear brakes when the rear brake pads get to a certain point they can no longer do the active stability control thing they still work it will just throw the lights too but after doing brakes O2 sensors changing gear oil lo and behold it was the gas tank lid!!!!!!!

    hope this is helpful for 4wd light and vsc light and check engine light stuck on for a long time and won't remain cleared. Not even after unplugging stuff to the fuse box, does not remain cleared long term. lights come back. 4wd light stuck on was my main concern since driving it in dry and hot weather. However I was assured today that the 4wd is not working. In my case, and probably most cases with 4wd light on in Toyota RAV, according to these findings, means 4wd not working only in front wheel drive mode. It was a good quality local shop with toyota flags out front though not a toyota dealership. I believe them with all their findings. They diagnosed our problem is some bad magnetic coupler? or magnetic something inside the diff/or driveshaft or whatever. Anyway it was an 1800 dollar part and labor also very expensive. He also found our cause of check engine light, though it was also throwing codes for o2 sensor, is the EVAP, which in itself is also not a cheap fix to have done. He said legally we are okay in Michigan as is, but it would not or may not pass emissions law in CA according to the computer codes upon being tested and thus the entire EVAP/Charcoal unit needs replaced. This along with the bad o2 sensor is probably because of high milegage and age of vehicle being a 2006. VSC light being stuck on no longer alarms me so much because I found out it dedicated certain braking power and tire rotation power when going up hills and especially around curves etc. all handled by the computer system for optimizing performance of the braking and handling especially in wet or slippery conditions. It being stuck on no longer alarms me though I am uncertain why it too is stuck on. The yellow exclamation point is simply the valve sensors which are inside rims and can only be replaced when removing the tires from the rim then replacing the sensors then remounting the tires on the rims done at a tire place. It too doesn't alarm me. However all the lights on yeah that is annoying! But now its all piece of mind getting it all checked out. Now I know I am not doing damage by our 4wd light being stuck on. The owners manual also indicates that if anything is doing damage the light will blink (that would be really bad and indicate a severe problem which would likely lead to a catasrophic failure.) What I had them do instead is the main servicing for peace of mind and to prolong the life of the vehicle to have the front and rear differential gear oil replaced and the transmission fluid and transmission filter replaced. these thigns definately need done after a lot of miles. The price to pay if not getting to it ever after thousands of miles are put on is the adhesive gasket wears away then the differential fluid can leak all out then the gears get extremely hot and it can burn up and can break apart and fail catastrophically while 4wd is engaged. we will have the peace of mind anyway that the diff fluid (gear oil) has been changed and is topped off and has new gasket on it so it lasts a long time to protect the rotating gears of both diffs front and rear on this toyota rav

    I have a 06 limited, I had the car have it’s maintenance done and they also put new oil on the automatic gear box.
    And after that the check engine light comes on, I can’t use 4wd or the VSC, the mechanic says that it may be caused by 3 things, the cables that read the computer may be failing, or the same computer, or there’s a piece to be replaced in the gearbox.
    How can I solve this on my own?
