Yeahhh with high pressure water hot... like a normal hobby shop😅 you get back a clean submarine with high chance of new failure of all elektric systems😂
Wow! So grateful for this video! Mechanic did my service 2 days ago. I have same car and same lights came up. He was expecting me to drive 40 min with those light to see him!!! so glad i came across this video. Went to my car and guess what! Tube was disconnected!! I connected it and drives well. However the lights are still ON! does this mean theres another problem? or do they need to be reset on the diagnosis machine?
Excellent. You can also check fuel trims which would be maxed out positive and should improve with increased rpm. Also, great point about MAF code not coming back after key cycle, indicating the sensor should be working correctly. Still driving a 2006 Matrix 4WD with 226,000 miles.
I love seeing theae compact SUVs from toyota. Ypu missed the opportunity to show the second service position hole in the hood. Someone sawbit for the first time in person andbahe said it was very cute. Does anyone wirh a rav feel like the hood is very heavy? Much more than camrys. Feels like a truck hood!
Maybe the "comb" was meant to prevent the air filter from being crushed during shipping. So it was supposed to be removed before installing the air filter.
Never disappoint, I'm wondering if you are able to help me. Speaking of the (Transmission cooler), what happens if it was bypassed and the hoses go back straight to the transmission? Bought like this from previous owner. Please help not sure what to do
Would those check engine lights go out "on their own" if I dont have a code reader? I have the same RAV4 and I did this very same thing and knocked that hose off and then after discovering it i plugged it back in.....Hope the lights go away
Friday I drove my 2007 RAV4 about 1 mile, ran in a store and came right back out. All these lights lit up when I started it. I was next to a NTB garage, so I stopped in and they put their big diagnostics reader on and it gave four codes. P0138 -O2 sensor circuit high voltage bank 1 sensor 2. P0328 Knock/Combustion Vibration Sensor A circuit High. C1289 Engine control system fault. C1201 Engine control system fault. He said I shouldn’t drive it back home the less than 1 mile, I needed to tow it. I just recently had a lot of work done on it around 2 months ago or less. I spent over $4300 getting work done and the original problem still persists.
Petr, With the exception of the problematic 2.4 engine, this generation of RAV4 has a lot going for it. Why Toyota dropped the incredibly handy, 40/20/40 sliding rear seat, I will never know. 🤨
Wow, you forget what it looks like from the mechanic’s side. I’d be embarrassed to take my car to a mechanic, looking like that inside and under the hood.
Moc vám dekuju! Jste opravdu profik! Dik
Peter your professionalism shows as you took the time to clear out the debris in the cowl area. Well done sir!
Welcome home Peter !! Thanks for the video.
I cannot believe my eyes - Peter tossed out that performance comb?!!
What is he thinking? That is like throwing away 25 horse power!
😂

Thank you ,
your video help me aloft, thank you again 👍👍👍
Absolutely love your channel, Peter. Keep up the great work my friend. Cheers 🇨🇦🇺🇸
Nice work!
Clean that engine please! For humanity.
Yeahhh with high pressure water hot... like a normal hobby shop😅 you get back a clean submarine with high chance of new failure of all elektric systems😂
I have never cleaned any of my engines in 40 years of driving. But I must say this one is a mess.

Great job, as usual, Peter!!!! Love your channel!!
Good as always Peter. Would love to hear the latest on the Tundra project!!
I really enjoyed your videos Peter.
Thanks for the video.

I can't thank you enough! You fixed my problem! Yay! 😊
Thank you my Friend 👍
Did the trick, thanks!
If only they were all that simple to fix.

Thank you vey much for the fix!

So the 4wd and slip lights were on because of the check engine light?
Yes toyota has a redundancy system where they will light multiple systems in case the CEL is itself malfunctioning
@@LAactor Ok, thanks.

Critters will store food in car engines for the winter. I like to keep the area under the windshield wipers cleaned of debris
My 2006 rav4
4wd model 2az
Doesnt has 4wd warning light ( i mean it doesnt has it at all)
Any reason?
My 2006Toyota Rav4 has both check engine and 4w lights on, I'll definitely try to trouble shoot and see if it clears, I've AUD 500 quote 😴
Peter, thanks for the handy tips.

People have to open their own hood and vac stuff out.

Video should be called how to vacuum a car engine with mouse droppings.
And the stealership here would figure a way to charge $1500 for plugging in a hose!

Nice hair.
