Addendum for people on PS5: The glitch itself works for the trading part, but it also kills the ability of the character to properly open containers - there will be no windows for the items within the container. So, never apply this glitch with your druid main, but on a hireling.
Still works--this is just what I needed. A tip: go into barter and donate 1000 gold to max out their appreciation of you and then use the druid trick to get the money back!

also you dont need to keep the druid in the party, if you put the satchel in the barter menu from the druid then swap to trade you can put it in your tavs inv

Without having to go Thu the underdark and steal the chest and open it. the rune powder bomb tho works better with the barter menu than it does in the trade menu. its to eaches own at that point but this is something you can do soon as you fall from the Nautiloid.

While I was trying this I somehow bugged my wears and I can still somehow sell my warse without loosing anything for 100 gold despite the character i am using to barter having no wears im very confused
I do not know how, but Wyll after having The Baneful still bound as a pact weapon, despite changing his class, still somehow let me sell wares as he is a cat. So maybe I havent updated yet idk
@@koltrainz not sure what you might have done. But I can tell you wares are not separate. So if you add a ware on one character then add wares on another character. It goes into one grouping of wares. You will still see the items in the characters invy but they are grouped into a invisible ware tab. I’m trully interested in what you might have found tho. Did you add it to wares? After throwing it?

The save is from the previous patch, however the weapon was already added to wares and used for the old exploit before. the only thing I did was go to camp, change wyll's class, do the exploit from the video,. Then I forgot about it then did the sell wares by habit then I noticed and went wait what, wyll is a cat, has the bound weapon in his inventory and it still said bound weapon permanent, despite him now being a druid. I didnt throw anything so forth.
The way it works is very weird. Iv long rested before and it not reset but most of the times it will reset. cool side note: the item doesnt need to be in the druids bag. you can click throw from any character invy and it will still glitch the item. thanks for the sub 💯
i gothca! 1. weapons won't work because by default the action button wants to equip them instead of throw them. Bg3 goes thu a order of operations like math in a sense. 2. In a game this big coding is bound to be broke somewhere, it's a reality of games in general. they all are limited. knowing this means they meant to be broken. lol. 3.
I always want to know how people find these glitches. Did you just try to throw a bomb and noticed it stayed. Then tried to sell it? Also the warlock pact weapon still works. I don't know if it's different now, but you put a weapon in the barter menu then swap that weapon for the pact weapon. I don't know if that is how you did it before but I saw a video about it just before this video and tried it and it worked.
800 hours playing any game you start picking up on what's happening in it. the warlock method is tad bit different than the old one. it is good a glitch to use!

Just tried it today 11/29/24 and it worked like a charm! I just used a grease bottle as I didn’t have a powder bomb and had no issues.
Still works--this is just what I needed.

This works, but it's easier(IMO) just use pact weapon put a weapon in the barter window then swap it with your pact weapon in main hand and sell

@@hugogaspar5135 Try adding the item to your tool bar. its a throwable so you should be able to throw it.
still works 25.11.24 - if you wanna do it much faster, try to sell something which is still a throwable but it is worth much more
