In the early 80s when I was 10 years old, the F-15 was my favorite fighter plane. Even when Top Gun came out and all little boys went crazy over the F-14 I was still building F-15 models and hung them from my bedroom ceiling. Now I'm 50 and the F-15 is still there. Amazing!
@@RobTheWatcher I totally agree with you the F15 is just gorgeous, although I don't like the extra pylons on the wings of the new eagle, it just breaks up that natural clean look. But I understand the need to optimize the benefits of the enhanced payload.
Unmatched levels of filming in this video… some of this footage is absolutely jaw dropping. Fighter jets are the hardest aircraft to film especially when they are performing acrobatics, to see them in such smooth footage is quite remarkable to say the least. Thoroughly enjoyed this as always🫶🏼

Guys, this is beyond awesome for all sorts of reasons. Firstly I was there myself filming, but from the ladder area about 100 metres away from your spot at RIAT. Sadly I wasn't in the APC Skyvan though - those air to airs are simply sublime. Secondly, I've been trying to decide on a new lighter weight stills camera for airshows that's also good for filming to compliment my existing kit and had narrowed down between the Sony RX10 IV and the Canon SX70. Well, although the RX10 IV is considerably more expensive than the Canon, the quality of the footage here really has decided for me what I will get - the RX10 IV of course. Thanks for a great production and a great edit. Which editing program do you use? I've also subscribed. Keep up the brilliant work. Steve.

What a story! Both are unique planes with such a beautiful design! Absoloutely love both of them & its nice to see the F-15 still going strong!
And they are still upgrading and building brand new ones. Seems like they got something right with that airframe.
