Even though I am not a competitive athlete, I am going to give this a try. I used to do upper/lower split but this seems more efficient for the weighted dip and pull up.
Man coming back to this video after completing the programming series makes so much sense. Also probably because the first time I watched it I was half asleep lol. I think I have a vague idea of how to incorporate multiple exercises in this split but I will watch that video nonetheless. Great video!
Don’t get this wrong, but for a beginner there are very little things that matter. As long as you keep some overload and specific training that should do thejkob
Another fantastic video full of info! I have ordered your weight belt it should be here any day now, very excited. Also I have a Streetlifting comp coming up in 7 weeks. After my deload next week I’m going to incorporate this method of programming for the first time! Very exciting times, thank you for putting in the effort. Definitely appreciate it!
Great video! Do you think it's better to have all primary/secondary/tertiary days for all movements in the same day or try to keep them more balanced so they all get more or less the same amount of primary/secondary/tertiary?
How would you program this if you for example focus on two push movements: overhead press and weighted dips? Would you program both with a primary, secondary and tertiary day - and would you put the most intense work on different days?
How would you calculate percentages on weighted movement, do you include your bodyweight + the load and if so do you calculate your bw without forearms or not, thanks, great content as usual
I don’t think this is a good idea: 1. staleness will hit you quickly 2. volume is probably way to high for a single lift in one session 3. specificity for strength too low if all sets are done in this range
How did you incorporate accessory exercises into it? Like when its our let's say primary dip day and tertiary chinup day....so can we do back and biceps accesories on that day? Am I right
Everyday can have accessories. 👌🏻 just fit them in where there is space and where it fits into the program looking st stimulus you want to provide that day
@@MichaSchulzshould we increase rpe per set in all of these days like should we increase rpe in every other primary session as well as secondary session or just primary session? Also, I am an early intermediate didn't knew about this much information before so thanks for making such videos and could you please make a video about how the training changes from block to block
@@MichaSchulz the one you showed us in the video. You think it's a good idea training pullups the equivalent way and maybe extending the week to 9 days to have some days off?
@@MichaSchulz For example: Monday primary comp dip day Tuesday primary comp pullup day Wednesday maybe off Thursday secondary dip day Friday secondary pull day Rest etc
Very interesting approach, I was wondering how you combine this. Do you pull up and dip in a single day. so monday primary dip day and tertirary pull up day. wednesday prim pull day secondary muscle up day etc etc? I just find it hard to see how I won't be in the gym every day. Also, does the tertirary pull up day on monday not ruin e.g. muscle up or pull up strenght for the tuesdays?
Hey man, I have a pull up goal of reaching 20kgs x10 reps at 65kg bodyweight. Lately I’ve reached a plateau of x7 reps with 20kgs. I’ve changed my grip style to chin ups. Will it help me break through the plateau?
Thanks for the Video Micha , By far the best series on youtube .
You and strength gene are the most interesting street lifting youtubers, thank you for putting so much effort into this
This is VERY useful
This is genius. This is exactly what I was looking for.

very interesting! thanks! would you follow this kind of split with beginner level as well? or would you prefer another kind of split for them? thanks

Super individuell. So it’s not needed

I thought you advice to do a upper lower split

Please do one for strength and hypertrophy on weighted claistenictics, I was planning on using stronglifts and altering it to 7x7
Can you elaborate the system?
@@MichaSchulz to use the same template as Mark ripptoe to add weight each session but to use a 7x7 instead of his 5x5

Amazing video! Do you think that I can do MON/WEN/SUT this dip training and TUE/THUR/SUN the same but with a pull ups? Is this possible?
„This dip training“ means?

You don’t need to separate pull & push

Würdest du ein solches System auch für Skills empfehlen?
Eine Adaption dieses Systems für Skills ist in meinem Buch beschrieben 🙏
So would this be like a three day split??
If you only train one lift and nothing else and no assistance, maybe
Comp pullups, paused at 90 pullups and what for tetriary day if we want to be less specific?
100 options of rows and vertical pulling movements 👍🏻
@@MichaSchulz Thanks. Wondering if row is Ok as its horizontal pulling so glad it is
