Thanks for the thorough information! I ran across your site looking to adjust my new KC headlights I installed on my 01 TJ. Just what I needed. They adjust pretty much like all headlights I’ve installed all my life but it’s great to get your alignment details. Thanks from Texas.
My LJ came with LED headlights so bright that I get flashed constantly. I was going to replace them, but now I'll try adjusting them first. It's lifted 4", so I think I need to go lower than the center of the Xs
i wanna see a video on those led lights in the thumbnail. But also what does turning the adjustment screws do? like tightening the top one, will the lights go up or down?
th-cam.com/video/Y5xcFrAAyn4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=1kLak2VJgVhr-PL2 Here is that video. They worked great, a little to great the lows are really bright and I kept getting flashed with people thinking my high beams were on. I ended up adjusting the headlights downward quite a bit. Yes the upper screw is supossed to be for up and down. The other left and right. It's kind of a pain.
The middle one or in the thread I am posting, 4 o clock one, shouldnt need adjusted. But if someone has messed with it or your headlights are way off for some reason you might have to. See this thread for a picture from the FSM. www.jeepforum.com/threads/jeep-tj-has-3-adjusting-screws-for-headlights.4465817/

No problem 👍
just bought an '01 T J this past August '23 !
Gas Guzzler though !
Exactly the same, except mine is an 03 TJ. Clear instructions with clear explanations.
Can't ask for much more.
Your videos are very good. I got solutions and information for 2 things I'm working on today on both my XJ and TJ. Thank you.
Thanks glad they helped.

Yeah I ended up having the same thing occur, adjusted them down quite a bit

@@TabooCustoms uh ok but what so u recall if tightening goes up or down pointing for the top screw?
@@rickjames5998kind of late but top screw is mainly for up and down like you said. Bottom ones are for left and right
My 99 TJ has 3 adjusters, instead of 2, and All look the same,

Ok, got it. Thanks. Also do you have a video on replacing rear coil springs ?
@trig5010 no I do not. Un bolt the shocks, the sway bar and maybe un bolt the track bar and hopefully get enough drop to swap them
Can't believe they don't put the adjusters top or bottom and side. That is bull.
The inside one is supposed to be for left and right then the top one for up and down. Never seems to work exactly like that though.
My Hi beam lights up the tops of trees. Totally useless.
Same. Looks like I’m raccoon hunting 😂
