I do like the detail that Reed, for all his scientific brilliance, is absolutely clueless about handling money (he's also clueless about being a husband and father, but that comes later...). I imagine Tony Stark looking at his stock portfolio and just facepalming.
Maybe he hired someone else to manage his money after that. Or he did hire someone and after this story there was an off-panel adventure: "The Fantastic Four vs. The Embezzler!"
I always loved the fact that the early FF issues weren't afraid to throw in elements from the genre of Romance Comics. The various She Storm love triangles make the FF more than just superhero comics. Aside from LoisLane I think Sue may have had the most men interested in romancing her in all of comics.
I desperately want to see a side story in which Namor hast to deal with the preparation for making a movie… renting the proper light and camera equipment, if he’s gonna make it independent or work with the union, buying film stock, making deals with the city for filming permits, locations scouting, having a production meeting going over with the cast and crew of his vision, finding a caterer, printing out copies of call sheets for everyone, reviewing the dailies and seeing if he needs reshoots, giving notes to the editor, submitting it into film festivals and trying to make deals with distributors… as someone who has made a movie on his own, I want to see how Namor dealt with being a first time director and the challenges he had to over come lol
In my headcanon I like to imagine that Namor had already produced and directed a series of surprisingly successful B-movies so he could build up the credibility and contacts in Hollywood to pull a scheme like this off. Like, throw in a scene of Namor talking with a young Stanley Kubrick and Kubrick is all like "please, Lord Namor, you are the most brilliant film director the world has ever known, please don't waste your magnificent talent on this pettiness!".
Sue's characterization is certainly a product of her time (and male writer/creator). I find it interesting that Namor is so charismatic that even if you have beef with him you still find yourself oddly respectful- or even attracted- of him. Not sure Reed would catch Sue's eye if she, Namor and Doom had all met in college.
@@JohnMinehan-lx9ts I don't remember, but I assume Sue is in late teens early 20s. Also she knows that if the FF beats up Namor they won't get paid for the movie.
More than male writer it's male reader, young male reader. Even if the writer could write a woman with more depth if the reader cannot parse that it's actually detrimental to the story. You need to give them something they can handle. People were dumber at understanding the opposite gender because they much more stuck to their own camps.
I wish there were Cameramen during the scene where Namor asks her to marry him, I would've loved the sight of camera men gawking in the background and cheering Namor on as if they were henchmen and this was the boss' big moment.
I love how Reed being bad with money is a recurring "gag" in Fantastic four comics (even referenced in the 2005 movie) to the point that Sue and Johnny are in charge of the FFs finances
I love how this all started with Reed's financial ineptitude. You can't be a genius at everything, Reed! How would the movie get finished, you ask? Break out the stock footage and hire Roger Corman.
This feels like it would be the strangest found footage film out there. And I'd like to believe the Namor Sue encounter was left on the cutting room floor because you can't show your boss being a creep.
I love how they kept Namor true to costume in Black Panther 2. How do you put someone on screen in a speedo with winged feet? Dial it up to eleven! Throw on some jewelry and a nose piercing! The actor was great about giving him a serious, dangerous air, but still making him approachable for potential romance with the right person. Since Shuri rejected him, it's a perfect time for rebound crush on Sue.
The reason we've never had a good Fantastic Four movie: their film rights are still owned by one of their arch-villains. I love this comic for just how weird it is to do this story with these characters. Kinda makes me want a followup where She-Hulk represents Sue in a sexual harassment suit against S.M. Productions
Classic Namor is Angry Pepe Lepew. MCU Namor is more Black Adam, than movie Black Adam... Until he meets MCU who is maybe, probably Margot Robbie, so eventual "Simp City" incoming.
I Like MCU Namor, but I am Mexican, so he was made for me. my biggest pop on that movie was when Attuma redirected the water bomb with his hip. Fun Fact, "El Niño sin Amor" is the name of an old rock song here in Mexico.
I like to think the finished film had a heavy Sue focus, using footage of her making peace between the F.F. and Namor along with other material shot off-panel. It may be about the Sub-Mariner vs. the Fantastic Four on the surface, but the heart of that movie is 'I ❤️Sue'. 😊
Honestly it was one of the classic stories with Namor and the Four that I love. I mean if you're the prince of an UNDERWATER KINGDOM post WWII, that means you're not just a king, you'd probably have intelligence agents, and Atlantean tech AND THOUSANDS OF SUNKEN SHIPS AND LOST GOLD you can collect and reinvest in anything on the surface world, as king, why wouldn't you use the most ostentatious way to defeat your foes?
It's been awhile since I've read the original Marvel run, but someone recently told me that you could tell that Stan and Jack had very differing ideas on female characters: Jack would draw them in very Dynamic kickass action poses...only for Stan to give them dialogue like: "Now I'm off to do the dishes/fix my hair!"🙄
I've heard stories of that with Ditko, too. Ditko would pencil in Spider-Man saying something like, "Get a job, you dirty hippies!", and then Stan would change it to something like, "Right on! I'm agree with you!". (Not the actual dialog, but I think it had something to do with hippies.)
@@KasumiKenshirou Objectivism. Ditko was a huge Objectivist and Stan kept that stuff away from Spider-man. After Ditko left Marvel he created Mr A and Question as mouth pieces for his philosophy.
I'm in love with the idea that namor has a "sue room" it's probably his safe space. Probably like Helga from hey Arnold except he's been slowly adding to since the 60s
Absolutely love your videos❤️ You’ve made me love comics I didn’t grow up reading comics but i was heavily invested in superheroes from DC,Marvel and more but i never got into comics but watching your videos have made me come to love comics just wanted to say thank you❤️
Reading the early issues of the FF, and the rest of the MU, you see Stan growing as a writer. For the really early issues he's sort of writing in Hollywood movie mode. The continuity grew over time and the characters grew as well. But in the early days Sue was a typical 1950's movie heroine. Brave yes, but still very much the weak member of the crew. Dale Arden, Wilma Deering ect... You didn't have the punch/kick heroines that much. Sue was very much the all American Girl Friday. Also at that point Reed was written as a man obsessed with science. Yes he loved Sue, but took her for granted a lot. Give her this, Sue was a lot less flighty than the Wasp was at that time. Sue looked at Namor and was intrigued, and Namor payed a lot more attention to her, was trying to win her, in his own warped way. But at the same time he also had that built in 'surface dwellers are bad and I must kill them all' motto. So nothing ever happened in a sexual way between them. It's fun fan fic and what if, and I don't doubt that marvel would do it in a second these days given the terrible writing standard they have. But it hasn't happened yet. In 1963 the movie could have just been the fight scenes. Action sold back then, and novelty did too. The FF were brand new at that point, I don't think Avengers had formed and there must have been a lot of curiosity. I can see it making the rounds of the drive-ins easily. What was really good about the comic at the time was that the FF had real world problems, like paying rent. It was the start, much like Stan and Jack putting themselves in the comics as writing a Fantastic Four comic book (which I think happened in a few issues from this one) that was one of the selling points of the early marvel.
I am currently reading The Saga of the Sub-Mariner limited series by Roy and Dann Thomas. It's funny because I just read about the Fantastic Four movie mention in the series. I like the Sub-Mariner/Sue Storm/Reed Richards triangle. As far as the Namor on the big screen, I was disappointed. It seems that the big screen has to reinvent everything in Marvel Comics canon. Why should everything be thrown out just because a few people find everything offensive or racist.
Sasha’s vibe is a breath of fresh air compared to other comic channels. Her, Comic Tropes really do a great a job. She goes in depth but does it in such a fun and inviting way.
Alot of the other comic you tubers don't discuss the content of comics. LOVE your take on all that you have covered. Keep it up, Always enjoy your videos.
My guess is that the date with Sue was filmed, and it probably leads into the fights, or maybe it's the climax, like it could be that after besting the Fantastic Four's men he celebrates with her at that restaurant. It makes more sense in my head that he took her out to dinner and then had to battle her ex, but I've recently had a lot of Scott Pilgrim reactions in my feed.
Yay, glad to see some Marvel coverage! I have a real fondness for silver-age Marvel! It's so silly, but so _earnest,_ which I find a really endearing combination! I love those detailed explanations of how things work! Yes, they usually make no sense, really, but it's fun to see how much effort they put into making it _seem_ like they do! ☺
Ah, yes... in the early issues Ben Grimm is definitely established to have a thing for Sue Storm. And when did he move past that? When he met Alicia Masters... who is introduced as only needing a wig to be indistinguishable from Sue. yes, yes, yes.... the Thing had a thing for the Invisible Girl....
Funnily enough, Ive always pronounced his name the way the MCU does way before the movie. My Filipino background aside and how we pronounce words lol, Ive always thought of it as his name being pronounced in the proper Atlantis way. Atlantis was a story famous among Ancient Greek and Roman scholars, and Namor's war cry is IMPERIUS REX. With those in mind, it is safe to assume that the original Atlanteans are from Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome. One can argue that their main language is some form of Ancient Greek/Latin hybrid. In Ancient Latin, there are no long vowel sounds (ay) only short vowel sounds (ah). Namor in Ancient Latin would be pronounced 'Nahmor', as opposed to the Modern English 'Naymor'.
W-huh? I do believe you mean there was no diphthongs per se, because they actually invented a writing system to DEPICT their language. So a difference would be more obvious than between AMerican A, Canadian eh, and an EYYYYY with fonzarelli flavoring. Well, there's a strong argument Roman's don't really get the full authorial credit over Phoenicians or something, but still beats our modern "just say it like it is written" (proceeding to mangle up some nonsense nothing like it is written).
Nice Johnny Quest referencing then mentioning Johnny Questioning lol. The fact that the actor who played Ben and the actress who played Sue ended up together means that they being a couple is possible. Namor by the door made me think of Peter Pan and his shadow. I liked the MCU version of Namor because it brings a dimension to the character that works for the current state of the cinematic universe. I think the movie was done the same way they did the original Godzilla by using a framing device of someone viewing the fantastic four and the submariner with the Sue parts being news footage of her or just special effects of stuff on fishing wire since she is supposed to be invisible. This is me so I have to keep going deep[ into the ship that never kept going of Bloodwynd & Maxima when she was not trying to get with Superman.
For the Sue Storm fight, they could have just gotten some actors to punch and kick the air and then act like they were getting knocked out by an invisible person. Easy peesy.
MCU Namor was fine. I didn't mind the changes so much, but the bungled plot point with Shuri. She should have spent more time on Namor's side. But Covid and the struggles they had to make that film were hopefully part of that.
Sue would say yes but he lied also he tried to kill her friend, brother and whatever Reed is at the moment but mostly lied tho also that's a strong Jack Kirby forehead right there lol
Plot of the movie is a simple 'dust up before team up' where they spend half the movie fighting each other before ultimately teaming up to take on the REAL enemy: The producers of the Sharknado series!!! I wonder if they had any re-shoots...
Green Goblin totally pulled the same "I'm making a movie and you're gonna be a star baby!" scam on Spider-Man in his first appearance in ASM 14 from 1964 lol
Regarding the MCU Namor, I never saw anything after Endgame. From what I know about the MCU Namor, they changed so much about him that they should've just made him a new character. I wonder if they'll try to undo it later like I heard they did with The Mandarin. "No, that English actor guy wasn't the REAL Mandarin! This other guy was!" This MCU Namor could be retconned into an impostor from a rival underwater kingdom and then the real Namor has to take him out. (Or they'll just be lazy and go "MULTIVERSE"!)
13:27 if i were to hazard a guess of the type of movie it was, it probably was some kind of movie that comes off as one of those promotional reel type movies. Like a 1960s version of a news reel film. Although I don't think those would really be around and a thing circa the 1960s. I think TVs were a little more prominent at the time so you could have the news with Walter Cronkite and those other iconic figures. Although I assume those TVs might've been a little expensive at the time and you'd have to have one of those TV watch parties where you gather all at one person's house to watch something. So there could still be a need for news reels? I don't know I didn't look this up, this is just off the top of my head guessing. Or maybe it was one of those weirdly edited movies like Plan 9 from Outer Space where Namor filmed some other stuff of himself separately.
If you do more Marvel, Johnny's friendship with Spider-man could be a fun topic. If you ever do a video about. Dorrie and the Torch don't miss her cameo in issue 134
I really liked the MCU Namor. But I know nothing about the comic version, except that he has a thing for Sue Storm. Love to see these videos. They help me understand some of the backstory
My thoughts on the MCU’s Namor , are that it is the MCU’s Namor , not Marvel Comics… The MCU where Clint Barton ( 🙏🏾 for Jeremy Renner’s recovery) is a happily married family man, Aunt May was a 40 something redhead beauty, Hank & Janet Pym where heroes in 40s, Hela is Odin’s daughter, not Loki & was the Asguardian Goddess of war , not the Queen of the Hel, Flash Thompson’s not your typical BMOC Jock, ect , ect …So to answer your question I thought he was fine , definitely got the attitude correct…IMO sometimes these movies do improve on things from the comics… case in point while not the MCU for all of the faults that can be made about FOX OG Fantastic Four movie ( Dr. Doom) by them making Sue a scientist, & Johnny a washout from NASA ( because of his attitude towards authority) they made a whole lot more sense, then Reed recruiting his model/ actress GF, & her teenage brother to be crew on a space mission, regardless of the circumstances that they made up at the time ( Sorry Stan & Jack RIP) …Anyway Luv the format, Keep Up The Outstanding Work Sasha 🖖🏾
Namor did need a touch of modernization and some reasons for not being about in past events (like having issue with the super prison in the ocean) in the MCU. I did find the changes interesting and certainly gave him his own vibe. Very different from classic comic Namor, who is very Roman inspired, and also a mile away from Ultimate Namor, who wasn't good imoo. He fit a lot of the themes that Black Panther had and made sense. I joked before that they had to bring him in fighting Wakanda as they didn't have a hot blonde lady in a relationship with a serious brown haired guy to lure him in. So plan B - play up the recent Wakanda vs Atlantis issues. He did come off as commanding, intimidating, and that just one or two steps past reasonable on his agenda baddie. I do think him showing up in an FF movie would be fun now. The idea of him getting hit with love at first sight at Sue and deciding to reveal his people so he can woo her leading to Namora and Attuma declaring an uprising could make for a pretty good story.
As always, another great video! But my favorite Sub-Mariner comic, was in Marvel vs. DC when Aquaman flattens him with a whale...envy of ya JSA omnibus
Honestly as a long term Namor fan, I find the Kirby/Lee stories funny, but they really lean into some aspects I am not a fan of, my favourite story in that run with Namor has to be near the end where he originally teams up with Magneto to conquered NY, but realizes its wrong. As for the MCU Namor, as a Latino, I did like the changes, but also felt they were unnecessary, like yes DC has an Atlantis, but so does Marvel, and the Atlanteans in Marvel are Blue, then you have Lemurians which split off when the continents shifted etc. It felt like it just suited Coogler's story and themes of Colonialism that were the reasons the changes were made, which isn't bad. I also felt like they didn't read enough of Namor's solo comics and that many people don't and only know his appearances in the early FF and his actions in Hickmans works and Avengers vs X-Men. Roy Thomas and Byrnes runs really flesh out and make the character a lot more understood for why he feels how he does towards the surface, his own disillusionment with his own people, his sense of loneliness by being part of two worlds that both attack him at different periods. I really enjoy Namor as a character and generally when he is written well, he is great, it just seems no one reads enough of his comics to realize that. Conquered Shores which was an Elseworlds book released recently, really fleshed out Namor into a more nuanced character that writers don't seem to want to do. Its also to note that in his own character driven runs, he doesn't really chase any women.
It really just hit me her and Johnny's family name is "Storm". Like I've known forever but i just realized, this means there's a family just named "Storm". That's such an awesome family name. Also top 3 wig this time Sasha

I hope you get a chance to give us some Rick Jones stuff some time. I think you may have already done the wedding/bachelor party,(or I am going crazy) but there's a lot of other things. Like Professor Hulk and the Pantheon vs X-Factor has a good Rick moment, and he gets all kinds of Jimmy style transformations. I haven't even read his Captain Marvel era stuff.
Yes, I remember reading this one (as a reprint, of course--I wasn't born until 1965). It really seemed like a wacky issue--Namor as a Hollywood style movie producer? Even as a trap, that seems to be way out there. Stan really seemed to be struggling for ideas for the FF early on, as both Namor and Doctor Doom make pretty frequent reappearances and for no apparent good reason. Over time, Kirby started coming up with more plot ideas, and we started to get the more classic issues of the FF. Oh, and why didn't Sue come up with more plans and strategies for the FF? Because the villains could always see through them!
That movie probably looked like that Radioactive Man Movie from the Simpsons. The one were they poorly edited the scenes they had together after Milhouse left.
Oh, "SM" Studios! I thought it was...something else, at first.😅 So, the FF movie canonically exists...along with Spider-mans early career as an entertainer (is that ever referenced again?).
I would love to see a 1939-era Superman crossover and battle a 1939-era Sub-Mariner. The first creations of each company head to head. Sure, modern Superman would normally destroy any-era Namor, and modern-Namor would certainly best a 1939 "leap tall buildings" Superman....but both at their beginning, with Namor's strength slightly more than Superman, and Superman's resilience more than original Namor....it would be more of an even fight than people believe. I'd pay to read it.
On the subject of MCU Namor, while I'm not the biggest fan of it, I do fully understand why they changed so much about him. Aquaman has always had a lot more exposure in pop culture and general knowledge amongst non-comic fans. And with Aquaman's movie being a huge success, if they didn't change Namor, there would be endless comparisons between him and Aquaman, likely with some claiming Marvel ripped off DC, despite the fact Namor debuted first. It's very much a Hydrox/Orea situation.
As far as other stuff, how about *times the Fantastic Four went bankrupt or were in financial trouble?* I think one thing that could be interesting a topic to research and cover might be how the Fantastic Four are able to cover all the cool sci-fi stuff they do. In the event that was ever covered in their history. The reason I brought this idea up was this video and you mentioned that the team was in dire straights becasue Reed made some bad stock investments and they had to sell off a lot of their assets. I hadn't realized this was the first time they were in this much trouble financially. I thought the main time they were in bad money straights was when they sold off a bunch of assets in court in the 90s when they had to pay for all the damages to Empire State after Johnny Storm went supernova. And maybe this other time in the 80s when the Baxter Building got destroyed becasue Dr.Doom threw the building into space and blew up the building. I didn't see how they ended up settling Four Freedom Plaza later. I just saw some bits where they dealt with New York being overly angry and hate filled becasue this guy called The Hate Monger was stoking everyone's hate and rage to drive everyone into a blind fury. Sue Storm ended up becoming Malice the Mistress of Hate with this black spikey mask. And this ended up being the issue where Reed Richards smack Sue in the face to break her out of this Hate trance she was under. I think this all took place around the time of Secret Wars 2 when the Beyonder arrived in that Disco Suit of his. I think for headquarters at the time until they got their own place, they were living out of The Avengers Mansion in New York. Didn't see how they got their next place as far as affordability.
Wow, Flash vs The Ring Master. I had the first chapter of that but when I was that age things were pretty random ( I was just happy to get a any kind of comic book ) so I didn't see the rest of the story. I would love to see how that went.
Yeah, Dan Slott claims to be a superfan of various characters and knows everything about them, but his Amazing Spider-Man run shows that is not the case - since most of his plots were just bad fan fiction where he wrote Peter/Spidey completely out of character and required him to have guest stars to show up to help him defeat enemies that he was able to defeat in issues written by more competent writers. So it's no surprise that he would write an issue that says that the feelings Sue and Namor have for each other never existed. As pointed out in this video, it was a staple of pretty much every Namor appearance in the Lee/Kirby FF run.
Sue room! LMAO! I read this when I was a kid in the 70’s😜Just like the Weisinger Superman comics they have a weird goofy charm and you certainly have a quirky way of showing the cringey and the silly moments and thanks for that!🤣 Namor in the MCU /Wakanda whatever was disrespectful to Bill Everett and Jack Kirby in my opinion! On a positive note…Fantastic Four started with a Namor tale and later intro the Inhumans,Silver Surfer,Galactus and the Black Panther! Thanks again for a laugh,Sasha!👍😎
I have to watch at least ONE Casually Comics per day and fortunately your output is so prolific, I actually get several!!😎 Having said THAT, I think that the character of Namor in the MCU should be billed as “Inspired by DCEU’s Aquaman”😊

I love how this all started with Reed's financial ineptitude. You can't be a genius at everything, Reed! How would the movie get finished, you ask? Break out the stock footage and hire Roger Corman.
Roger Corman will have it done in a few days
Knowing Corman he would reuse footage from his own earlier FF film.
Roger Corman definitely had a hand helping Namor edit the movie.
Corman would probably lambast Namor for wasting so much money. Could be done so much cheaper XD
Thank you for not only keeping comics casual, but also encouraging courteous comics.
This feels like it would be the strangest found footage film out there. And I'd like to believe the Namor Sue encounter was left on the cutting room floor because you can't show your boss being a creep.
Ironic given the situation with Harvey Weinstein.
Productions
I wonder what other movies SM Studios made I'd love to see what their Romantic Comedies would look like.
Its mostly oceanic nature documentaries. Go figure.
All variations on "The Little Mermaid" I'd expect.
What if they film atlantian legends?
“He’s a king form the ocean, she’s the wife of a world famous scientist. Can they make it work?find out in “invisible love”
Classic Namor is Angry Pepe Lepew.
MCU Namor is more Black Adam, than movie Black Adam... Until he meets MCU who is maybe, probably Margot Robbie, so eventual "Simp City" incoming.
I hope that Namor appears in the new Fantastic Four movie that they are making. Awkward attractions and all.
That would be REALLY cool. No need to do Dr. Doom again, at least not for awhile.
Old School Namor certainly lived up to the "Invader" name...
Namor with the long cigarette holder in his mouth is just a funny image to me. It really competes his movie director cosplay.
I Like MCU Namor, but I am Mexican, so he was made for me. my biggest pop on that movie was when Attuma redirected the water bomb with his hip.
Fun Fact, "El Niño sin Amor" is the name of an old rock song here in Mexico.
I heard the song cause it's what pops up first when you're looking for Victoria Alonso's Namor quotes.
On his own Kirby created Big Barda and the Female Furies. Stan Lee created Striperella. 'Nuff said.
@@jackvenus4024 kirby truly was the mastermind behind marvel.

12:35 this is so important, and not just for fandom discourse but for straight up cultural/political discourse.
I'm in love with the idea that namor has a "sue room" it's probably his safe space. Probably like Helga from hey Arnold except he's been slowly adding to since the 60s
I really enjoy when you cover these petty/salty character stories. It shows how hilarious the writing could be!
Absolutely love your videos❤️
You’ve made me love comics
I didn’t grow up reading comics but i was heavily invested in superheroes from DC,Marvel and more but i never got into comics but watching your videos have made me come to love comics just wanted to say thank you❤️
Literally the same thing happened to me, lol 😂
Next time someone says DC silver age was the wacky one and Marvel's was "realistic" one ought to present this issue
*Sasha: **_"Johnny's Quest-ioning..."_*
I see what you did there...😊
"He was a mutant for a bit..."
...still is. They just didn't bring it up for a long time, or at least very infrequently.
Take over the finances Sue, Reed isn't money smart..
I need a whole retrospective of Sue and Namor. How it's developed
We need a What If? comic featuring the Queen’s Quartet (Sue/Reed/Namor/Doom polycule).
I did the same. Namora sounds prettier that way as well, and she was the Sea Beauty.

Yeah me too
Nice Johnny Quest referencing then mentioning Johnny Questioning lol.
Love this format Sasha, Please do the Star Trek (TOS)/X-men crossover. That one cracks me up.
Making a movie with SM Production: That's one way to make a test run for Malice.
We definitely need a Namor and Sue playlist.
Seconded! All in favor?
Don’t kink shame sue … she’s exploring 🤣🤣🤣

if i were to hazard a guess of the type of movie it was, it probably was some kind of movie that comes off as one of those promotional reel type movies.
12:30 I thought it was fine but to me dumbest thing was explaining his name to mean he has "no love" for the surface world.
There were so many story beats here that had me saying "WHAT?!"
@5:34 - Sue here gives off strong Betty Draper vibes. And with his back turned to us, Namor could almost pass for Don.
Aside from the eyebrows, I thought "na-MOR" was a lot closer to NAY-mor than Doom in Fant-four-stic or Galactus in F42.
It's actually too bad we ever got to see how a non-Marvel studio would screw up Mole Man.
Hi Sasha, right now I'm reading Starman and I'm liking it a lot
Meanwhile Batman and Captain America sit down and talk things out while their knucklehead teammates are brawling.
There are actually real people that have that name, too.

I must have read this as a reprint, since the first issue I had was FF #5 with Doctor Doom.
Namor is is still nowhere near as abusive or creepy as Superman was to Lois.
I like this. Thank you
Yes, I remember reading this one (as a reprint, of course--I wasn't born until 1965).
I thought it was...something else, at first.😅
So, the FF movie canonically exists...along with Spider-mans early career as an entertainer (is that ever referenced again?).
Lol they make a different type of movie on the side
You rock! Brilliant as always
I didn't know people didn't like MCU namor
Another possible topic: *Interesting/Weird/Odd Fantastic Four Romances Retrospectives?*
Well, if you don’t see Sue in that movie….it’s because she’s invisible.
As far as other stuff, how about *times the Fantastic Four went bankrupt or were in financial trouble?*
I think one thing that could be interesting a topic to research and cover might be how the Fantastic Four are able to cover all the cool sci-fi stuff they do.
They will say Sue was in the movie she was just invisible
Really enjoying this single issue focus videos. More please.

Wow, Flash vs The Ring Master. I had the first chapter of that but when I was that age things were pretty random ( I was just happy to get a any kind of comic book ) so I didn't see the rest of the story. I would love to see how that went.
Two years and nine months into this journey and it's still fun.
7:58 It's mine, mine, mine, all mine!
