  • In this video we are harvesting yam which was grown entirely in a feed bag or crocus bag. This is the most food which I have ever grown in a bag to date.
I really hope that this video motivates you to GET UP AND GET GROWING. Anyone can grow organic food like this no matter where you live.
If you know someone who would be interested in growing more organic, healthy food for themselves and their family you can share this video with them.

I harvested some today, I am so happy to see Yams when I went digging, it is my all time fave food, and It is my first time growing them. I can't wait for April next year to start growing more. Love this video.

Which of the dioscorea alata cultivars is this?
My speakers are not working ATM if you stated the variety during the video. Thanks.

That is so great! Excellent harvest!
I am planning to do a 2023 container garden reset and want to start seeds to transplant in January. I know we can grow crops all year round but do you have any thoughts about which crops grow better in the wet or dry season? E.g. my cabbage and tomatoes are loving this weather but my peppers are not happy. Any suggestions on what crops would be better to plant in January?

Honestly our weather is so temperamental that I have given up on timing plants to periods. I would say that tomato, brassicas, lettuce and corn does better for me in dry time and wet season I get the most out of beans like saime bodi contender and seasonings but it can all vary.
