Make an Insecticide : Easy, 100% Organic and CHEAP! | Trinidad and Tobago

Insects attacking your crop can discourage new gardeners from gardening. Some may want to even give up because it is so sad to see your hard work being eaten away by harmful pests. But DON'T WORRY!
In this video we are learning how to make an inexpensive Insecticide spray to protect our plants from insects! This spray is not only cheap to make but also organic and super easy!
We will be using Neem oil which contains the compound Azadirachtin. The Neem plant naturally contains this Azadirachtin which has the ability to stop harmful insects from reproducing and destroy their eggs as well. At the same time Neem oil is perfectly harmless to the beneficial insects in your garden like ladybugs and will not harm yourself or your family in any way shape or form!
Controlling harmful insects in your garden such as Aphids, Spider Mites and White flies is very important because they can stress your plants out. Applying this spray once every 3 weeks as a preventative measure will allow your plants the health they need to keep producing all season long! If you have a serious issue you can use this spray once a week until the problem goes away.
I also discuss how nature can often times stop pests for you if you have the correct garden conditions to find a balance. There will be a video in the future discussing the concept of a well balanced garden that will be naturally resistant to pests.

Ok I finally watched the entire video. I recently bought a young kale plant and sadly, it has a little white fly and what I assume to be some tiny pale green/yellow things under the leaves. Just this morning I was scraping them off with my fingers but I’m very pleased to see how practical your video is so I shall be visiting Pennywise later to pick up some neem oil. I'm sorry to hear about that issue! Mix a tablespoon of dishwashing liquid to a gallon of water and apply to the affected areas.
A more long term organic solution would be to plant more flowers around the property which will attract some natural predators of mole crickets. I hope this helps!

Often white flies will attack plants that are weaker. What you might need is not a stronger pesticide but try moulding up the plant with some manure/worm castings/add worm tea. Before you do this however start a regimen of washing off the white flies by hand morning and evening. They will eventually give up trying to colonize that plant and moreso if the plant gets stronger with nutrition.

Was confused about d neem oil...cause it so bitter...was wondering how it washing off the edibles like Kale, basil.....my Kale plant had ants, millibug and white fly and it spread to d basil....I went an bought a pesticide every tho I have neem oil.......I now remember washing machine water works on some stuff as well.....
