There was a stream or a vid a while ago where he talked about this. He feels he is actually better now than he was when he was a pro.
Playing fps every single day wont deteriorate your skills. The only that gets worse is a person's reaction time and decision making time. Everything else gets better

fr even on peak internet in Canada you can only find games with around 120 ping at best
I used to play Overwatch at 120ms, then on vacations to canada I got to try 40ms. it was night and day.
