Has spy EVER been nerfed? I've been playing since 2012 and the class has only gotten more and more cheap. I'm expecting in 2020 Spy can backstab while invisible with 400 HP and flame retardant.
The T.C. Temporarily, there was a nerf to the Spy: the radius for a melee registering as a backstab was reduced from 180 degrees to 160 degrees. However since Spy is Gaben's favorite class, this was reverted. Jk on that last part. Seriously though, aren't the Spy buffs justified? Spy is probably the least effective class in the game and definitely is in competitive, so I'm fine with Spy being buffed.
Well, Spy is probably the most difficult class, so I feel his buffs are justified. But yeah, a few years ago the DR got a HUGE nerf that, for a while, made it pretty much useless. The class itself doesn't change much.
The spy is crazy far from broken however I can see where your coming from. It feels bad to be consistently backstabbed by a spy who knows what he's doing.
The T.C. I know I agree ! Pyro should be able to backstab while invisible with 1000 hp, speed of scout and regeneration that regenerates 1000 hp a second.
The KritzKrieg is among the best balanced side-grades in the game, along with things like the Frontier Justice, Your Eternal Reward, Bonk, Flare Gun and Buff Banner.
It's a side-grade? Correct me if I sound like a dumbass, but it has 25 percent more ubercharge rate and it technically doesn't have a downside (except the actually ubercharge itself).

the buff banner is more of a style changer thna side-grade, the shootgun is a secondary firepower, the backpack are used to increase the primary fire power of the soldier (and possibly the teamates). the bison is (or rather, was) a perfect side grade: sacrificing a higher firepower on close range to a way more consistet one on mid-to-long range
As a scout main who used to use the Sandman Guillotine combo with consistent results I will say that I think that the stock scattergun was an incredibly viable alternative if not just a better option entirely. The force of nature does more immediate burst damage, but the stock is more reliable and overall more versatile in most circumstances and itself does a fairly high amount of damage on it's own. I had absolutely no problems taking out an over healed Heavy with this combo in at most two follow up shots with my scattergun. In my opinion the damage boost that the force of nature supplies just isn't enough to make up for the size of the clip before having to reload. Plus if I'm in the thick of it and I land all 6 of my shots in close proximity my damage potential is actually a lot higher. There's nothing wrong with the Force of Nature mind you, but it to me just encourages a different kind of play style then what I like and I find the stock allows me to be much more aggressive due to the larger clip. Not that my original point matters much now that the guillotine has been nerfed into oblivion
Yeah, personally I hate the diamondback a hell of a lot more than I hate the enforcer. Because except for 2-hit kills at very close range, the revolver can do basically everything the enforcer can (since the resistance piercing doesn't even work properly). Don't get me wrong, I love the concept of the diamondback, being less powerful at first and getting more powerful as you get stabs and saps. But the execution...
Lmocinemod I honestly like the dimanondback. I rarely see other spies using it. Most use ambassador. I like using it, but it's like frontier justice. You can get a lot of crits, but they end up being lost.
Slime Hina My problem with the Diamondback is that it rewards the spy a bit too much for stabs and saps, imo. Maybe if it had slower firing speed like the Ambassador it'd be more balanced, but the Diamondback is banned in competitive leagues for a good reason.
But, we know VALVE. They will never remove the Pyro because VALVE sticks up a big middle finger to the community. Also, when I play Pyro, I usually use the Dragons Fury. That takes a little skill, right?

I'm gonna have to disagree about the demo one. My personal least favorite is iron bomber and quickybomb launcher. not OP, but not very skillful. I really don't like the new quickybomb launcher honestly. Your demo knight load out compared to rest of demo knight: op. compared to demoman: still horrifically UP vs sentries and just about anyone that hears you coming or whoever doesn't get hit. scout: yes soldier: yes pyro: id still say degreaser with the RS. makes it even easier to airshot them once air blasted. m1 is exactly as effective, just less AB Demo: first paragraph Heavy: not really anything here, either what you said or tom, sandwich, GRU for being too common. engi: just yes. SC is nearly as bad as the wrangler on the pain-in-the-ass scale. medic: yes, but not really much to whine about with medic. sniper: anything except classic, jarate, RB, or DDS, melee doesn't usually matter. 150 dmg in basically an instant from ANYWHERE on the map that you can see. just no. only counter is itself. spy: yes, although diamondback kunai is annoying, it takes much more skill than Dr enforcicle.

@@chinoi2792 actually I used it some more and I agree with you. It doesn't really have any crippling downsides and the switch speed can be helpful. It can mini crit rocket jumping soldiers which is pretty cool but that's more situational than you would think.
Machina is a good sidegrade. Trading noscopes and sneaky positioning for free damage (if you can hit your headshots) is a good deal. However, I still prefer stock because noscopes are more useful than some people expect.
@@nickwasnothere4924 Well you see when I play as sniper, which I always do, I'll run Stock or the Bazaar Bargain, Jarate, and Bushwacka, and most of the time I'll say "fuck it" and throw my piss jar at the enemy team so that my team can get an advantage or when a pyro hits us with his (her)'s scorch shot, detonator, flare gun, I use Jarate to stop the burning on me and nearby teammates
NickWasNotHere The SMG has bad range and noscoping is usually just easier and faster. You also usually have to hit just one easy noscope after a headshot on most classes so it’s really useful.

Vaccinator is hated more these days for good reason. Most people don't fight as teams so focus fire is harder. Solo pubstomping Soldiers and demos hate being negated.
The quick fix actually charges more quickly due to the fact that it can't fully overheal, which would always HALF the charge rate, so it always charges at normal speed.
In some ways since in competitive it's banned so you'll get a lot of hate from those people but honestly I don't hear people complaining about the quick-fix nearly as much as the Kritzkrieg with the whole Medic girlfriend and soldier boyfriend stereotype (Not to say I personally hate the Kritzkrieg It's actually ok in my opinion even though I prefer the stock and quick fix depending on the situation it's just it's something I caught one of my friends complaining about when he got killed by a medic/soldier combo with the Kritzkrieg) plus the Quick fix isn't as OP as people think cause while yes you can heal people a lot faster and you have one of the fastest uber charge rates in the game I've actually been killed a lot while using the uber charge since most people assume when there under the effect of the Quick Fix uber they'll think they are invincible like the stock uber which usually will end up with my pocket dying not to mention your overheal is cut in half which can really make the difference if they get hit by something that does a lot of damage at once.
olavialitalo True, stock IS good enough. But in competitive environments, a sapper on a sentry is a dead sentry, 7 times out of 10. Sure, it takes forever to actually DESTROY the building, but sappers in competitive are mainly used to disable the sentry, not destroy it. Which is why the red-tape is OP in competitive. Even if it gets removed in time to save the sentry, the sentry probably still has to be re-upgraded.
For the pyro one, I paused the video to guess which one, and I guessed his original picks right. When he said he chose a different loadout, I paused and guessed that right as well.
there is actually an engineer loadout far more devastating then the one on the list. The Pomsom 6000, Short Circuit, and Gunslinger. with all these weapons used correctly, u will be the ultimate annoyance on the server. if u don't believe me ask Uncle Dane, or try it out in a pub yourself and u will see what I mean
Soundwave 84 Actually, don't do that. The Short Circuit is nearly worthless and the Pompson is just bad. Yes, they're frustrating, but they aren't good at all.
Random Guy If you think that's bad, try Frontier Justice, Short Circuit and Gunslinger. I tried it myself and it was a damn beast loadout. Mini sentry can get kills and assists, Short Circuit protects you from rockets and grenades, then when your sentry gets destroyed you get free crits and with good aim, the other team's about to have a bad day
ElidhanThePirate The stock Shotgun is better in my opinion, because you have twice as many shots and random crits. As for the Short Circuit, it's a good option to last another second when an average Soldier main with a Kritzkrieg medibeam in the ass 24/7 finds you, which is the most common scenario. Now, people seem to be unable to comprehend that *YOUR MINI SENTRY* is supposed to assist *YOU* (or your teammates), and *NOT* the opposite thing. Or you can go around spamming the alt-fire of the Short Circuit and get some kills because of unlucky people on low health getting hit.
A lot of people hate me when I use the eureka effect, widowmaker and short circuit. Spys hate the eureka effect because I can go to my tele exit even while it’s being sapped and kill the spy, then I just fix or rebuild the tele because it barely takes Metal. If you’re a decent shot you can earn a lot of metal by spamming busy areas, and it does a lot of damage and isn’t very loud. Short circuit protects your level 3 sentries from demo and soldier spam and no medic wants to heal a sniper walking in front of a sentry so it makes it very hard to take down the sentry. Have a decent sniper close to your nest and unless they uber a heavy it’s pretty hard to take a sentry down. Use your short circuit to remove stickies, and go spam a choke point to get your metal back if you don’t have a dispenser built yet. It’s a fun loadout because it’s a great battle engie/ ninjaneer loadout. It might get a few less kills but in casual it’s much more fun than just sitting in a nest

There are MANY ways to counter a sniper outside of spy and another sniper. Scout, Pyro, Soldier, and Demo can counter him well with the right loadouts. I honestly never hear people complain about sniper unless he is using aim bot. Most of the time when a sniper is doing well I just hear people say "Oh be careful they have a good sniper on their team" or "Wow that was a really good shot." I hear people complain more when he is a bad sniper. Things like "Body shot piece of crap" and "No skill sniper". Really anything that can jump and has good mobility can kill a sniper with ease.
Ace TheOcarinaMaker I have gone scout, soldier and more classes with high mobility and those damn good snipers still can headshot me no matter how good or random i move, in a open space a really good sniper can easily kill you, and in closed spaces a sniper can predict your moves and headshot you when you go past a corner if they know you are targeting him, i got headshot many times with scout, soldier and demo because of that, the only effective way i found to kill a really damn good sniper is 2v1 him, as he will be distracted there is a high chance to kill him, in a 1v1 with a sniper i get killed almost all the times(i can't counter snipe because i'm shit at sniper) and that happens to a lot of people too when fighting a sniper, that's why people hate it so much from what I've seen, its annoying that they can 1 shot or 2 shot you.
hey its me so I decided to update this list with loadouts that are now more annoying and talk about their differences between this and the 3 year old and outdated sets. Most of these have either been removed from the game or have been nerfed so now these new sets are more annoying. Lets go Scout - RIP Sandman Cleaver combo. Anyways now a-days a majority of people have been okay with Scout and how you play him. However, its still possible to annoy the HELL out of other people if you know what you're doing. Enter my favorite loadout the Soda Popper, Winger, and Wrap Assassin. In this loadout, if you can hit shots with hitscan and projectile, you can easily annoy the hell out of other players. The use is that you run in with tricky movement to damage someone just low enough to get them dead or just under 30 HP. If you succeed you have an easy chance of getting a bleeding kill with the Wrap Assassin. If you can hit your ornament within 5 feet away from the enemy then congrats you secured yourself a kill with the most annoying weapon to use in this game. Hopefully you become the greatest of scunts. Also if valve changes it so the Cleaver crits while bleeding than Wrap Assassin Cleaver combo is the next thing to do. Soldier - Black Box, Conch, and Escape Plan are still viable but if you run into a friendly hating asshole or someone who gets tilted easily then your best shot is going with the Trolldier set or Market Gardener, Any Primary, and some boots or other sets. Now if the other player is competent or really good at destroying trolldiers then this one should be left alone but if you have an easy player. Then you have an easy player. Pyro - Pyro has went through a major change after Jungle Inferno but it's still annoying to deal with a competent Pyro player. Now these 2 depend on if you have a good medic pocketing you. First is the Phlog, Scorch Shot, and Powerjack. This setup requires either sneaky movement or some competent medic that allows you to run head long into danger and W+M1 territory. Racking up damage is easy game now that W+M1 is viable and therefore crits will be up your ass 24/7. However, be sure to play as passive as possible when you finish with getting crits and uber because you dont want to sit in spawn again. Now if you dont have a medic GF then dont worry there's another setup. Flamethrower or Back Burner, Scorch Shot or Shotgun, and a Back Scratcher. This setup will maximize damage output and if you can be sneaky with pyro than the backburner heavily rewards you for getting behind. Also the shotgun or scorch shot will allow you to take on dumb situations from afar either to finish off an enemy or to retreat, and the back scratcher is to keep you alive as much as possible. Be ready to hit and run like the spy as much as possible. Heavy - There arent many known annoying setups for heavy now mostly because nobody plays him as much. However if you have really good tracking then the amazing power of the Natascha is here to help you. To absolutely ruin that Scout, Spy, Medic, or any class within close distance of you will basically get pummeled by this gun. It's a really underrated gun tbh. the rest of the stuff comes down to the situation at hand so I wont go into it Engineer - Engineer is known for being annoying if the enemy team has no clue how to deal with it. However, if you want to maximize annoyance then go with the Widowmaker/Shotgun, Wrangler or Pistol, and Gunslinger. This setup allows you to be rewarded for being aggressive and showing that team who's boss. If you can hit shots with the widowmaker you can sometimes get people to call you a hacker. No trust me I saw a literal pipe god player accuse a normal ass engie doing good with the widow a hacker Demoman - Seemingly demoman is also annoying to deal with if a player dies to them a fuck ton, but if you really wanna punish then go Loch N Load, Stickie Bomb Launcher, and any Melee weapon. This setup allows you to go in and get sick frags, and make sure to spam as many stickies down as possible. If it's a trap or actual spam someone is gonna get mad Medic - Medic is less annoying unless the other players are bad at taking them down or the medic is good at the game. Most of the time a good medic wont show themselves unless they're being pocketed so your best option to annoy everyone as medic is to be good at medic Sniper - Ah yes the already annoying class to deal with when... well when they're good... funny to think about that any class is annoying if they're hard to kill. Anyways, if you choose dumb loadouts people will just get more tilted. Being good at sniper requires lots of time and practice, but if you play with stupid loadouts and are still good. Well people are just gonna leave Spy - Spy is also the same as sniper when it comes to annoyance, but the fun loadout is dead ringer and kunai. If you can get lots of kills with the Kunai and manage your Deadringer well you can literally not die in any state. Have fun
i wonder why you didnt put red tape recorder on spy loadout. also enforcer is trash right now, but -free crit gun- diamond back is just insane: gives you crits for doing what you already do all the time as spy and doesnt show your crits when you are discuised.
olavialitalo Its not balanced, the amount of random lucky headshots an unskilled user of it will get will far outweigh the barely present downsides. (Including that it does headshots faster than Stock does accurate shots, effectively negating the slower fire speed!)

Here is an updated list for 2021 Scout, the speed and bleed (wrap, guillotine, baby face): they never really get many kills but make you bleed just enough that you have to turn around Soldier is a tie of trolldiers and direct hit backup and crop: either a suicidal jump in that just comes in insta kills then leaves, or someone who spams the same damn hallways and seems to get endless random crits, turning over healed heavies into mist Pyro is the flight scorch and power jack: yeah it still should have been the top for him, the scorch shit is basically no skill and always annoying mixed with a pyro that is all suicide runs Demo is sticky jump and cannon, though caberknights are a temping choice: A hyuck! I can fly through the air in half a second and still kill you before I get there! Heavy is the natascha... Just that, the others don't really matter as the slowing is just hell, it's not effective just... Annoying Engie is actually just engie with rescue ranger and Wrangler, no mini... So many damn nests Medic is just crossbow ubersaw and stock... Yeah it's not really hated it's just kinda annoying to be long shot or have near endless Ubers charge you Sniper... Piss build, jarate, bushwacka, and the of bodyshot machine the sleeper: not only does the piss annoy everyone since the jar doesn't need aim, but the sleeper ruins good sniper duels and the bushwacka tends to annoy everyone because... Well not only are you covered in piss but now the shit shank is coming for ya Spy is the diamond back, dead ringer, and really any knife, but the eternal reward for useless points: this guy... He is basically never a good spy but he'll get one lucky backstab before being shot and now he'll crit you before you can get rid of the ringer, it's two crutches along with not really needing that much skill to use, it's pathetic but it works which is what makes it so annoying, it's underserved kills and annoyance
@@honor2425 I think I might have just had different experiences but Vac medics never really pose a threat... there is one push with it than they just... die because the trick doesn't work anymore, I think I dislike the ubersaw crossbow more because you more often run into people who don't know how to use it and waste time they could be healing to miss shots and try to melee enemies (Getting themselves killed in the process)
@@jonathanhathaway54 I respect your opinion, however hate is a collective people's opinions. The majority of players hate Vaccinator medics far more. Consider that soldier, demo, and sniper is the most played classes. Negating their relevance is what makes most people hate it more.

As a Combat Engineer main, I also hate that loadout, it's just playing the subclass in a wrong way. The mini sentry must assist you not you assisting the mini sentry!
The Scotsman + Splendid + Booties isn't overpowered. If you let a demoknight get close to you, you should die, especially with this loadout. Also, the recent nerfs (damage vulnerability) to the Steak Sandvich make Heavy easy to pick off if he eats it.
fireblaze82 Yeah, Steak sucks. but, let's be real here, it always did suck. Steak Sandwich is just... it's just not good. You deal and take more damage, you're melee only, and you're still the slowest class in the game. Sure, it gives you a speed boost, but the steak makes you either a slow Demoknight with no good melees (for this "subclass", that is. Heavy does have good melee weapons in general, like FOS, GRU, Eviction Notice, KGB) or a slow, melee-only Crit-a-Cola Scout. Plus, Heavy has no melees to go with it. The Fists and Holiday Punch aren't great, Eviction Notice mitigates the only benefit to the Steak, speed doesn't stack, and you take even more damage, FOS is bad at punching people (being meleed REALLY isn't good for your health with this and Steak, so you'll actually lose melee fights with this), Warrior Spirit makes you take 55% more damage, GRU is literally the worst possible option (speed doesn't stack, increased damage DOES stack, weaker punching, literally no reason to use Steak with GRU), and KGB... really is your only option, since they're essentially better Fists and are really good weapons to punch with, but using full crits with KGB makes the mini-crits from the Steak literally useless. After the first kill, the KGB does all of the work.

Bluts, kritz, and ubersaw can be SUPER good. If you have 2 meds healing each other like that... oh boy. it does a TON of damage if you can aim. Takes a heavy down in seconds, and faster with kritz.
You are playing wrong. You are the one getting assistance from the Mini Sentry, and you mainly use your Shotgun. Otherwise, you would be a regular Engineer with a Mini Sentry.
If this list gets updated then Flying guilliotine and Sandman should be replaced with Crit a cola and Boston basher, Darwins danger shield should be replaced with Cozy camper, Reserve shooter should be replaced with Scorch shot or Flare gun and Enforcer should be replaced with Diamondback/L’etranger.
The enforcer can be interchanged with the diamondback, for those bullshit crits you get mid fight because you sapped Pablo-Gonzalez.2005’s teleporter that for some reason he put in your spawn

Crits are the best! melee weapons should have 50-75% chance of critting.

Has spy EVER been nerfed? I've been playing since 2012 and the class has only gotten more and more cheap.
I'm expecting in 2020 Spy can backstab while invisible with 400 HP and flame retardant.
The T.C. Temporarily, there was a nerf to the Spy: the radius for a melee registering as a backstab was reduced from 180 degrees to 160 degrees. However since Spy is Gaben's favorite class, this was reverted.
Jk on that last part. Seriously though, aren't the Spy buffs justified? Spy is probably the least effective class in the game and definitely is in competitive, so I'm fine with Spy being buffed.
Well, Spy is probably the most difficult class, so I feel his buffs are justified. But yeah, a few years ago the DR got a HUGE nerf that, for a while, made it pretty much useless. The class itself doesn't change much.
The spy is crazy far from broken however I can see where your coming from. It feels bad to be consistently backstabbed by a spy who knows what he's doing.

The T.C. I know I agree ! Pyro should be able to backstab while invisible with 1000 hp, speed of scout and regeneration that regenerates 1000 hp a second.
The KritzKrieg is among the best balanced side-grades in the game, along with things like the Frontier Justice, Your Eternal Reward, Bonk, Flare Gun and Buff Banner.
It's a side-grade? Correct me if I sound like a dumbass, but it has 25 percent more ubercharge rate and it technically doesn't have a downside (except the actually ubercharge itself).

the buff banner is more of a style changer thna side-grade, the shootgun is a secondary firepower, the backpack are used to increase the primary fire power of the soldier (and possibly the teamates). the bison is (or rather, was) a perfect side grade: sacrificing a higher firepower on close range to a way more consistet one on mid-to-long range
As a scout main who used to use the Sandman Guillotine combo with consistent results I will say that I think that the stock scattergun was an incredibly viable alternative if not just a better option entirely. The force of nature does more immediate burst damage, but the stock is more reliable and overall more versatile in most circumstances and itself does a fairly high amount of damage on it's own. I had absolutely no problems taking out an over healed Heavy with this combo in at most two follow up shots with my scattergun. In my opinion the damage boost that the force of nature supplies just isn't enough to make up for the size of the clip before having to reload. Plus if I'm in the thick of it and I land all 6 of my shots in close proximity my damage potential is actually a lot higher. There's nothing wrong with the Force of Nature mind you, but it to me just encourages a different kind of play style then what I like and I find the stock allows me to be much more aggressive due to the larger clip. Not that my original point matters much now that the guillotine has been nerfed into oblivion

Yeah, personally I hate the diamondback a hell of a lot more than I hate the enforcer. Because except for 2-hit kills at very close range, the revolver can do basically everything the enforcer can (since the resistance piercing doesn't even work properly).

Lmocinemod I honestly like the dimanondback. I rarely see other spies using it. Most use ambassador. I like using it, but it's like frontier justice. You can get a lot of crits, but they end up being lost.
Slime Hina My problem with the Diamondback is that it rewards the spy a bit too much for stabs and saps, imo. Maybe if it had slower firing speed like the Ambassador it'd be more balanced, but the Diamondback is banned in competitive leagues for a good reason.

I have actually looked into that before but it takes up too much extra memory and time. It is so much easier to just record live.
I'm gonna have to disagree about the demo one. My personal least favorite is iron bomber and quickybomb launcher. not OP, but not very skillful. I really don't like the new quickybomb launcher honestly. Your demo knight load out compared to rest of demo knight: op. compared to demoman: still horrifically UP vs sentries and just about anyone that hears you coming or whoever doesn't get hit.

Machina is a good sidegrade. Trading noscopes and sneaky positioning for free damage (if you can hit your headshots) is a good deal. However, I still prefer stock because noscopes are more useful than some people expect.

The quick fix actually charges more quickly due to the fact that it can't fully overheal, which would always HALF the charge rate, so it always charges at normal speed.

In some ways since in competitive it's banned so you'll get a lot of hate from those people but honestly I don't hear people complaining about the quick-fix nearly as much as the Kritzkrieg with the whole Medic girlfriend and soldier boyfriend stereotype (Not to say I personally hate the Kritzkrieg It's actually ok in my opinion even though I prefer the stock and quick fix depending on the situation it's just it's something I caught one of my friends complaining about when he got killed by a medic/soldier combo with the Kritzkrieg) plus the Quick fix isn't as OP as people think cause while yes you can heal people a lot faster and you have one of the fastest uber charge rates in the game I've actually been killed a lot while using the uber charge since most people assume when there under the effect of the Quick Fix uber they'll think they are invincible like the stock uber which usually will end up with my pocket dying not to mention your overheal is cut in half which can really make the difference if they get hit by something that does a lot of damage at once.

olavialitalo True, stock IS good enough. But in competitive environments, a sapper on a sentry is a dead sentry, 7 times out of 10. Sure, it takes forever to actually DESTROY the building, but sappers in competitive are mainly used to disable the sentry, not destroy it. Which is why the red-tape is OP in competitive. Even if it gets removed in time to save the sentry, the sentry probably still has to be re-upgraded.

there is actually an engineer loadout far more devastating then the one on the list. The Pomsom 6000, Short Circuit, and Gunslinger. with all these weapons used correctly, u will be the ultimate annoyance on the server. if u don't believe me ask Uncle Dane, or try it out in a pub yourself and u will see what I mean

Random Guy If you think that's bad, try Frontier Justice, Short Circuit and Gunslinger. I tried it myself and it was a damn beast loadout. Mini sentry can get kills and assists, Short Circuit protects you from rockets and grenades, then when your sentry gets destroyed you get free crits and with good aim, the other team's about to have a bad day

The stock Shotgun is better in my opinion, because you have twice as many shots and random crits. As for the Short Circuit, it's a good option to last another second when an average Soldier main with a Kritzkrieg medibeam in the ass 24/7 finds you, which is the most common scenario. Now, people seem to be unable to comprehend that *YOUR MINI SENTRY* is supposed to assist *YOU* (or your teammates), and *NOT* the opposite thing. Or you can go around spamming the alt-fire of the Short Circuit and get some kills because of unlucky people on low health getting hit.
A lot of people hate me when I use the eureka effect, widowmaker and short circuit. Spys hate the eureka effect because I can go to my tele exit even while it’s being sapped and kill the spy, then I just fix or rebuild the tele because it barely takes Metal.
If you’re a decent shot you can earn a lot of metal by spamming busy areas, and it does a lot of damage and isn’t very loud. Short circuit protects your level 3 sentries from demo and soldier spam and no medic wants to heal a sniper walking in front of a sentry so it makes it very hard to take down the sentry. Have a decent sniper close to your nest and unless they uber a heavy it’s pretty hard to take a sentry down.
Use your short circuit to remove stickies, and go spam a choke point to get your metal back if you don’t have a dispenser built yet. It’s a fun loadout because it’s a great battle engie/ ninjaneer loadout. It might get a few less kills but in casual it’s much more fun than just sitting in a nest

There are MANY ways to counter a sniper outside of spy and another sniper. Scout, Pyro, Soldier, and Demo can counter him well with the right loadouts. I honestly never hear people complain about sniper unless he is using aim bot. Most of the time when a sniper is doing well I just hear people say "Oh be careful they have a good sniper on their team" or "Wow that was a really good shot." I hear people complain more when he is a bad sniper. Things like "Body shot piece of crap" and "No skill sniper".
Really anything that can jump and has good mobility can kill a sniper with ease.
Ace TheOcarinaMaker I have gone scout, soldier and more classes with high mobility and those damn good snipers still can headshot me no matter how good or random i move, in a open space a really good sniper can easily kill you, and in closed spaces a sniper can predict your moves and headshot you when you go past a corner if they know you are targeting him, i got headshot many times with scout, soldier and demo because of that, the only effective way i found to kill a really damn good sniper is 2v1 him, as he will be distracted there is a high chance to kill him, in a 1v1 with a sniper i get killed almost all the times(i can't counter snipe because i'm shit at sniper) and that happens to a lot of people too when fighting a sniper, that's why people hate it so much from what I've seen, its annoying that they can 1 shot or 2 shot you.
What I do is take alternate routes and pick them from the sides or I stay behind objects. If he can't see you, he can't kill you.

so I decided to update this list with loadouts that are now more annoying and talk about their differences between this and the 3 year old and outdated sets. Most of these have either been removed from the game or have been nerfed so now these new sets are more annoying. Lets go
Scout - RIP Sandman Cleaver combo. Anyways now a-days a majority of people have been okay with Scout and how you play him. However, its still possible to annoy the HELL out of other people if you know what you're doing. Enter my favorite loadout the Soda Popper, Winger, and Wrap Assassin. In this loadout, if you can hit shots with hitscan and projectile, you can easily annoy the hell out of other players. The use is that you run in with tricky movement to damage someone just low enough to get them dead or just under 30 HP. If you succeed you have an easy chance of getting a bleeding kill with the Wrap Assassin. If you can hit your ornament within 5 feet away from the enemy then congrats you secured yourself a kill with the most annoying weapon to use in this game. Hopefully you become the greatest of scunts. Also if valve changes it so the Cleaver crits while bleeding than Wrap Assassin Cleaver combo is the next thing to do.
Soldier - Black Box, Conch, and Escape Plan are still viable but if you run into a friendly hating asshole or someone who gets tilted easily then your best shot is going with the Trolldier set or Market Gardener, Any Primary, and some boots or other sets. Now if the other player is competent or really good at destroying trolldiers then this one should be left alone but if you have an easy player. Then you have an easy player.
Pyro - Pyro has went through a major change after Jungle Inferno but it's still annoying to deal with a competent Pyro player. Now these 2 depend on if you have a good medic pocketing you. First is the Phlog, Scorch Shot, and Powerjack. This setup requires either sneaky movement or some competent medic that allows you to run head long into danger and W+M1 territory. Racking up damage is easy game now that W+M1 is viable and therefore crits will be up your ass 24/7. However, be sure to play as passive as possible when you finish with getting crits and uber because you dont want to sit in spawn again. Now if you dont have a medic GF then dont worry there's another setup. Flamethrower or Back Burner, Scorch Shot or Shotgun, and a Back Scratcher. This setup will maximize damage output and if you can be sneaky with pyro than the backburner heavily rewards you for getting behind. Also the shotgun or scorch shot will allow you to take on dumb situations from afar either to finish off an enemy or to retreat, and the back scratcher is to keep you alive as much as possible. Be ready to hit and run like the spy as much as possible.
Heavy - There arent many known annoying setups for heavy now mostly because nobody plays him as much. However if you have really good tracking then the amazing power of the Natascha is here to help you. To absolutely ruin that Scout, Spy, Medic, or any class within close distance of you will basically get pummeled by this gun. It's a really underrated gun tbh. the rest of the stuff comes down to the situation at hand so I wont go into it
Engineer - Engineer is known for being annoying if the enemy team has no clue how to deal with it. However, if you want to maximize annoyance then go with the Widowmaker/Shotgun, Wrangler or Pistol, and Gunslinger. This setup allows you to be rewarded for being aggressive and showing that team who's boss. If you can hit shots with the widowmaker you can sometimes get people to call you a hacker. No trust me I saw a literal pipe god player accuse a normal ass engie doing good with the widow a hacker
Demoman - Seemingly demoman is also annoying to deal with if a player dies to them a fuck ton, but if you really wanna punish then go Loch N Load, Stickie Bomb Launcher, and any Melee weapon. This setup allows you to go in and get sick frags, and make sure to spam as many stickies down as possible. If it's a trap or actual spam someone is gonna get mad
Medic - Medic is less annoying unless the other players are bad at taking them down or the medic is good at the game. Most of the time a good medic wont show themselves unless they're being pocketed so your best option to annoy everyone as medic is to be good at medic
Sniper - Ah yes the already annoying class to deal with when... well when they're good... funny to think about that any class is annoying if they're hard to kill. Anyways, if you choose dumb loadouts people will just get more tilted. Being good at sniper requires lots of time and practice, but if you play with stupid loadouts and are still good. Well people are just gonna leave
Spy - Spy is also the same as sniper when it comes to annoyance, but the fun loadout is dead ringer and kunai. If you can get lots of kills with the Kunai and manage your Deadringer well you can literally not die in any state. Have fun
i wonder why you didnt put red tape recorder on spy loadout. also enforcer is trash right now, but -free crit gun- diamond back is just insane: gives you crits for doing what you already do all the time as spy and doesnt show your crits when you are discuised.
And theres the Ambassador, which has not even near enough downsides to balance its absurd upside

Its not balanced, the amount of random lucky headshots an unskilled user of it will get will far outweigh the barely present downsides. (Including that it does headshots faster than Stock does accurate shots, effectively negating the slower fire speed!)

Scout, the speed and bleed (wrap, guillotine, baby face): they never really get many kills but make you bleed just enough that you have to turn around
Soldier is a tie of trolldiers and direct hit backup and crop: either a suicidal jump in that just comes in insta kills then leaves, or someone who spams the same damn hallways and seems to get endless random crits, turning over healed heavies into mist
Pyro is the flight scorch and power jack: yeah it still should have been the top for him, the scorch shit is basically no skill and always annoying mixed with a pyro that is all suicide runs
Demo is sticky jump and cannon, though caberknights are a temping choice: A hyuck! I can fly through the air in half a second and still kill you before I get there!
Heavy is the natascha... Just that, the others don't really matter as the slowing is just hell, it's not effective just... Annoying
Engie is actually just engie with rescue ranger and Wrangler, no mini... So many damn nests
Medic is just crossbow ubersaw and stock... Yeah it's not really hated it's just kinda annoying to be long shot or have near endless Ubers charge you
Sniper... Piss build, jarate, bushwacka, and the of bodyshot machine the sleeper: not only does the piss annoy everyone since the jar doesn't need aim, but the sleeper ruins good sniper duels and the bushwacka tends to annoy everyone because... Well not only are you covered in piss but now the shit shank is coming for ya
Spy is the diamond back, dead ringer, and really any knife, but the eternal reward for useless points: this guy... He is basically never a good spy but he'll get one lucky backstab before being shot and now he'll crit you before you can get rid of the ringer, it's two crutches along with not really needing that much skill to use, it's pathetic but it works which is what makes it so annoying, it's underserved kills and annoyance

@@honor2425 I think I might have just had different experiences but Vac medics never really pose a threat... there is one push with it than they just... die because the trick doesn't work anymore, I think I dislike the ubersaw crossbow more because you more often run into people who don't know how to use it and waste time they could be healing to miss shots and try to melee enemies (Getting themselves killed in the process)

Consider that soldier, demo, and sniper is the most played classes. Negating their relevance is what makes most people hate it more.

As a Combat Engineer main, I also hate that loadout, it's just playing the subclass in a wrong way. The mini sentry must assist you not you assisting the mini sentry!

The Scotsman + Splendid + Booties isn't overpowered. If you let a demoknight get close to you, you should die, especially with this loadout.
Also, the recent nerfs (damage vulnerability) to the Steak Sandvich make Heavy easy to pick off if he eats it.
fireblaze82 Yeah, Steak sucks. but, let's be real here, it always did suck. Steak Sandwich is just... it's just not good. You deal and take more damage, you're melee only, and you're still the slowest class in the game. Sure, it gives you a speed boost, but the steak makes you either a slow Demoknight with no good melees (for this "subclass", that is. Heavy does have good melee weapons in general, like FOS, GRU, Eviction Notice, KGB) or a slow, melee-only Crit-a-Cola Scout.
Plus, Heavy has no melees to go with it. The Fists and Holiday Punch aren't great, Eviction Notice mitigates the only benefit to the Steak, speed doesn't stack, and you take even more damage, FOS is bad at punching people (being meleed REALLY isn't good for your health with this and Steak, so you'll actually lose melee fights with this), Warrior Spirit makes you take 55% more damage, GRU is literally the worst possible option (speed doesn't stack, increased damage DOES stack, weaker punching, literally no reason to use Steak with GRU), and KGB... really is your only option, since they're essentially better Fists and are really good weapons to punch with, but using full crits with KGB makes the mini-crits from the Steak literally useless. After the first kill, the KGB does all of the work.

Bluts, kritz, and ubersaw can be SUPER good. If you have 2 meds healing each other like that... oh boy. it does a TON of damage if you can aim. Takes a heavy down in seconds, and faster with kritz.

You are playing wrong. You are the one getting assistance from the Mini Sentry, and you mainly use your Shotgun. Otherwise, you would be a regular Engineer with a Mini Sentry.
